• Severina Snape adopted Harry Potter after Voldemort's attack on the Potters.

• In this AU, Severina took in Harry as her own since she's the godmother of Harry Potter.

• Severina Snape does her research to learn how to care for a child and does her best to raise Harry to live as happy and healthy.

• As Harry gets older, he considers Severina Snape as his mom, but Severina would tell him that his mother will always be Lily.

• Severina does her best to see past Harry's looks from his respective parents, but she would slip up sometimes.

• Dumbledore tried to convince Severina to leave Harry to the Dursleys, but she went against it heavily. She didn't trust Petunia to care for Harry since her relationship with Lily was rocky.

• Severina took ownership of her pureblood rights as a Prince and raised Harry in the Prince manor.

• Severina promised Lily that she would care for Harry if something bad ever happened to her. James agreed since he genuinely sees that Severina cares for Lily.

A while ago, I found this really good fic on AO3, but now I can't find it. If you could tell me what it's called, or even link it, I'd be forever in your debt lmao

It was a fic where Snape was kind of like a father figure to Harry. Everyone but Harry and a few others had gone home for Christmas, and Harry got sick and Snape took care of him (reluctantly). He then found out that the Dursleys had been abusing him.

Because of the wards, he took Harry on as an apprentice to protect him and keep him safe. Plus Remus was there too.

That's just a summary, the real one was far longer (maybe 60ish parts?)

queen bee snape. this little menace walked into the slytherin common room, respected no one, and FASCINATED all the rich purebloods. they all wanted to tame this feral little gremlin. the shower him with affection and gifts, and in exchange he doesn’t bite them anymore!!! he was recruited for the death eaters because if he wasn’t he would have taken all of voldemorts death eaters with him actually, this is canon. JKR said it as i held a knife to her throat.

YES. I love fics where Snape is babied by Slytherins and showered with affection and expensive gifts, like yes he absolutely deserves it.

The only HP fic I've read with a truly charismatic Voldy is the fic where Harry, from the start of the series, absolutely loves potions, and Snape's assholeness never stopped him from getting an apprenticeship with him. That's literally the only fic where I was from the back of my mind always hoping that somehow Voldy and the light side would somehow find some common ground. I liked his character in that fic to an insane amount. And he was still and evil racist murderer. That's literally the ONLY series with a charismatic Voldermort without it being a Harry/Voldy fic. Can't remember the fic name but it's a series, and honestly it's pretty unique that I'm sure someone will know the name. It's the fic where Voldermort has a daughter with Bellatrix.

This isn't really even a fic rec post. Or even a lost fic post. Not really. This is just a post I had to put out there cause of how creeped out I was by how much I was rooting for Voldy to not die all because of how much of a charismatic mf he was. Whoever the author to that fic is, they know their shit.
