One of my favorite adaptations of someone else’s artwork, a simple rendering of the Snake Witch from one of Gotland’s famous stones.
The excerpt from the article above shows examples of the squatting/birthing goddess but misses one important to me, a motif from Slavic embroidery:

The Ivan Kupala goddess motif/birth symbol/heraldic woman. She is a symbol of fertility and was embroidered and woven on ritual textiles associated with Kupala Night/Midsummer.
