They have a friends-to-lovers/opposites attract kinda thing going on. Chung Myung is confident, she is not. He’s aggressive, meanwhile, she’s not outwardly aggressive. Unlike Chung Myung it’d take a LOT to make her lash out with violence. And back to the confidence thing, her insecurity affects her fighting abilities so Chung Myung has made it his mission to make her more sure of herself. (she actually makes a great tactician.
