was getting nitpicky about time jumps and character ages in my new foundation fic, but then I remembered that shadowmaster obrecht straight up Does Not Age through the time skips in season one when everyone around him has visibly aged 35 years. and the show never explains or even acknowledges that this has happened. I think I'm going to be fine if I fudge a minor character's timeline a bit for the sake of one scene

Well, a couple of weeks ago we had Teacher Appreciation week, but we didn't get anything great. Maybe Rami could show how much he appreciates the reader...

you and rami have been going strong for a while 

after an exhausting day, you finally come home to your shared apartment 

the second you walk in the door you throw your bag on the coffee table, falling onto the couch immediately, drifting into a peaceful sleep

when you awake, you recognize the familiar scent of rami’s cologne

he’s sitting on the floor, eyes fixated on your resting face, watching the way your chest falls and rises with each breath

you slowly open your eyes and rub them as you feel a smile grow on your face 

rami softly tugs on his lower lip with his teeth and smiles at the sight of you 

“hey, baby” he whispers “you sleep ok?”

his hands trailed to your forehead as they swept tiny pieces of hair out of your face

“yes baby, thank you” you softly giggle

a comfortable silence settles as rami fiddles with something behind his back 

he’s lightly humming as the tip of his tongue is slightly sticking out of his mouth

you knew he made that face when either he was concentrated or he was up to no good 

it was probably both of them

“are you gonna show me what it is or keep being a tease?” you laugh as you prop yourself up on your elbow 

he laughs as he picks himself up from the floor, snaking his body next to yours on the couch 

he gently grabs your torso and sits you up next to him 

you play with his curls as you feel his eyes fixated on your body, soaking up your beauty

swiftly, he pulls out a small red velvet box in front of you

he has a childish smile on his face because he knows you’ll love it 

rami slowly opens the box to reveal a delicate gold necklace 

in the middle is a small, circle pendant 

one side engraved with rami’s initials 

“rami I love it!” you exclaim

“I knew you would baby” he cooed 

“why did you get it?” you ask, slightly confused “it isn’t an occasion” 

“I don’t have to have a reason or a special occasion” he chuckled 

“I love you and appreciate you so much” he cooed “I know how to treat my girl,” he said proudly  

“awe baby!” you blushed

you pulled him into a small kiss to show your gratitude

as you pulled away, rami was smiling, one eyebrow slightly raised  

“now everyone who sees it will know you belong to me” he says with a devilish smile 

“will they really now?” you questioned, smirking back at him 

“they better,” he said darkly as he firmly planted his hand on your thigh, lightly pushing you back onto the couch

his lips attach to your neck and suck harshly, allowing a small moan to escape your lips 

rami chuckled as he lifted himself to hover your body 

god his body was perfect 

“Oh I almost forgot” he whispered “I got you one more thing”

rami scurried to another room and quickly returns 

he returns to his position and makes you close your eyes 

all of a sudden, you feel small vibrations on your thigh that send shocks to your core 

“Maybe we can play with this later and make you see who you really belong to” he whispers into your ear 

your eyes shoot open as you feel your cheeks get hot 

you knew you’d be in for it tonight

dude the way you draw the skeletons with bugsnax inspired aspects (like the mouths for example) is so eensy gooble idk how to explain it but it's like the art version of a stimboard. just realized i could've just said i love your style that's what i mean SORRY
