Yeah don't wanna touch them. Don't want them to bite me. Once had a dream that was all over the place but in the end an alligator got me and killed me.

What are some things that sound like compliments but are actually insults?

I've heard people say "You smell like the sun." is a compliment when it's literally a Tagalog insult. "Amoy araw" means that you smell like you were sweating under the sun all day and that's not good and this statement is usually said by Filipino mothers about their sweaty boys.

If you want something that's easier to pick apart and make the person realize that you're insulting them faster, "That outfit is so brave." or some variation of it like "I could never be brave enough to wear something like that" could work. Also, any variation of "You're not as [negative trait] as they say you are." is also pretty good.

No not a big fan of alligators. The only reptiles I like are snakes.
