It took a bit, but I made a drawing of Mother-Willow AU Vexy. The design may change, but I'm pretty glad on how it turned out. (Neck might be a little long though)

I wanted to keep elements from her original design while also adding some elements from the lost village movie. Something I also noticed was that Vexy's hair didn't change color in The Smurfs 2, and I have a working theory on that. I think it has something to do with Vexy and Hackus not being changed by Papa Smurf in hat movie, it was Gargamel. So, I gave Vexy's hair a blueish tint to it and gave her the cream colored shoes and cap. Some context about this Vexy:

• While Vexy still has a lot of her personality from the Smurf 2 movie, she is more open about herself and doesn't cause trouble out o maliciousness.

• She's quite protective of her newfound family.

• The scars on her body are from before meeting Willow, but after leaving Gargamel's hovel. Two are from the plants, one's from the river, and the burn scar on her face is from her first encounters with dragonflies (Hackus accidentally took an egg). Basically her scars are from her time in the forbidden forest without any guide, map, or anything but her brother.

• Her favorite smurfs to hangout with are Melody and Meteorite, since they both share her musical taste. Plus Meteorite shares an aesthetic similar to Vexy. But Vexy does like to poke fun at Storm sometimes, but the two are pretty close. Storm even helps Vexy with her archery.

• She knows a bit about magic from her time with Gargamel, hence why she helps her mom with natural magic, whether it be with gathering ingredients or preparing them.

• I kinda want her chosen weapon to be a dagger that she keeps on her belt.

• It took her a couple days to start trusting dragonflies, but has grown very fond of dragonfly riding. She even occasionally challenges Storm to a race now an then.

• I chose to put a hydrangea flower on her hat since it symbolizes family, same for Hackus.

Well, this is what I have for now, Hackus is up next. So far, based on he sketch I have in my sketchbook, I might like his design more than Vexy's. Once again, I hope this isn't too much.

The Love Life Of Harmony Cornett, Humanverse!

1/2: Growing up alongside his older, more talented cousin Smooth Campana was never really easy. Harmony has always been a hopeless romantic, and despite his lack of musical talents, is a sweet guy. Unfortunately for him, the girls and guys always seemed to prefer Smooth, and Smooth pretty much encouraged it. He LOVED the attention, and showing up his poor cousin. No wonder Harmony has never really liked him.

3: Jump forwards some years and young adult Harmony thinks he’s found love! He met a nice young lady named Melody during a party. She likes music, he likes music, what could go wrong? Well it turns out Harmony’s ‘love’ for music didn’t quite match Melody’s expectations … she acknowledges he’s a nice dude, and certainly a nicer person than Smooth, but she thinks they’re, hm. Incompatible (insert the start of ‘Love Is Deaf As Well As Blind’)

4: Speaking of LIDAWAB, Extract from it! What’s this? Someone ELSE likes Harmony??

5: I’ve finally figured out what Smooth’s issue is. It’s not that he GENUINELY likes Jokey – at least, not at first. Smooth’s just wrapped up in his glory days back when whenever Harmony would show interest in someone, Smooth would snatch them away. He wants to prove he still has that power as the older, more talented ‘better looking’ cousin but Jokey’s not falling for it. Smooth might be a better musician but he’s an asshole, and not in a funny way. Jokey likes Harmony because he makes him laugh, and Smooth cannot stand this. He pretends to be all suave on the surface but I think it’s insecurity, which turns into desperation in trying to ‘win over’ Jokey. It’s not gonna happen, but Smooth’s in some weird mental power play now.

6: Jokey unlocks a new super power: official dad jokes.

7: After spending so many years in contracts, Mercator and Harmony come to regard each other as friends these days, contracts aside. That being said Mercator IS a demon so, by nature, he’s mischievous.

Ironically, the first three end the movie, but this last one... I decided to watch the music video that is part of the movie and in this short piece with Smurfmelody, we get a leg out on her boypanties.

Here is my old movie review of Smurfs: The Lost Village. I wrote this 3 years ago today. Enjoy! :D 💙

So, I just got back from watching Smurfs: The Lost Village in 3-D. Let me just say... SMURFIEST MOVIE EVER!!! I loved it so smurfing much! Third time definitely was the charm after all!

First, I'd smurf that this particular movie was better than the other two movies. But those other two movies had absolutely nothing to do with this movie. Those other two were live action/CGI animation. This one was fully animated.

Second, I am now more a blue believer than I was before! I love Smurfs a lot more now!

Third, my favorite part of the film was when we got to see Smurfy Grove. All those new smurfettes especially. They now make the smurf population gender equal with both girls (smurfettes) and boy smurfs. Fourth, speaking of the new smurfettes, my favorite was Smurfblossom ("blossom"). She is always so hyper and excited like me.

Fifth, at the beginning of the movie when the Columbia studios lady fell down revealing Smurfette, I saw that Smurfette picked up a mushroom and pretended to be the Columbia lady. I thought that was kinda cute and cool.

Sixth, the song Heroes (we could be) by Alesso and Tove Lo (which actually played when I was just leaving the Galleria) played while Smurfette was trying to sneak out of the village to go on her journey into the enchanted and forbidden forest. That was one of my other favorite scenes of the movie. Also, I love the song I'm a Lady by Meghan Trainor (aka Smurfmelody or Melody), but too bad Melody didn't actually sing it at the end. But still, it was smurfy all the way through from the beginning to the end. Speaking of Smurfmelody, I also noticed that she did have a flower in her hat. From the looks of it, I'd smurf it was a daisy or some other white flower.

Seventh, at the end credits what I also noticed (besides Gargamel, Azrael, and Monty talking about the end credits) was some of the additional voices. Some names that I recognized included: Eric Bauza (Puss in Boots, Belly Bag, etc.), Bob Bergen (Porky Pig), Tara Strong (Princess Twilight Sparkle, Timmy Turner, etc.), and Kari Whalgren (Amanda). So, that smurfed interesting to me.

Eighth, there definitely needs to be a sequel. I mean, there was still one unanswered question, "Where did the girls come from, and how long have they been living in Smurfy Grove?" Now that's what I'd like to know. But, maybe then again they might answer that question in the comics, or it could be in a sequel if we do get one. Who knows.

And lastly, there really needs to be a new Smurfs show, but instead of it just being focused on the boys (and Smurfette), how about it being focused on the girls (smurfettes) for a change. It could be about the adventures that the girls and boys have (along with Smurfette) while trying to escape from the evil wizard Gargamel, along with Azrael, Monty, and maybe even the new creatures we saw in the movie, like the Glow-Bunnies for example.

Hoooo doggy these are my very strong ship of the month atm. I’ve actually always loved them, never thought I’d do a fanfic necessarily but all of a sudden I was overcame with the desire to. And the inspiration was wild XD Usually it takes me a decent week or so but nope, powered through this one in a few days with a ton of motivation!

I’ve found I like writing ship fics where I try to build up the characterisations before any of the cheesy stuff, hehe, makes it feel more real. Most of the actual Harmkey in this is very subtle till the end, but it makes more sense to go slowly with it! And honestly reads far, far more in character this way.

Hello, it's me.

I'm gonna tell you some of my Smurf ships and tell you exactly why I ship them and I would love to hear your opinions on them.

Since I mentioned Brainy x Clumsy so many times before, it won't be mentioned here.

Gutsy x Tailor -- I remember discovering this ship in 2014, a year after ''The Smurfs 2''.

I personally loved the ship a lot and I still do to this day.

I mean Gutsy is loud, adventurous, boisterous, fiery, and headstrong while Tailor is uptight, straight-laced, prissy, down-to-earth, and sophisticated, but I think they would go well together.

So yeah, there isn't fanfiction of them, but there is fanfiction of them, but sadly not enough.

This ship is so underrated!

Also, Gutsy is one of my favorite Smurfs of all time, if not my MOST favorite Smurf of all time, behind Brainy and Clumsy, of course.

Pushover x Scaredy -- This one is adorable!

I can totally Pushover standing up for Scaredy if another Smurf teased him and unbeknownst to him, Scaredy would be having a gay panic.

Harmony x SmurfMelody -- Well, someone had to ship!

Alchemist x SmurfBlossom -- Yes, I ship Blossom with an underrated character from the comics.

Dopey x SmurfBegonia -- I actually discovered this one from you.

I like it.

Those are all the ships I could think of.

Gutsy x Tailor- They’ve literally never interacted, weirdly enough. I can’t see them together mainly because Tailor might have conniptions over Gutsy’s horribly garish plaid. I have conniptions over Gutsy’s garish plaid, and I’m not as uptight about clothes as Tailor.

Harmony x Melody- This is just because of the names, isn’t it? Well, why not?

Alchemist x Blossom- They have similar amounts of endless energy. They might work, but they would be an absolute nightmare for everyone else.

and ofc I also ship Pushover x Scaredy and Dopey x Begonia.
