    It was shaping up to be just another Tuesday, the moon was shining, car horns were singing, and the smell of pollution was fresh and pleasant. Pleasantly boring. He twirled the keys to his housing around a gloved finger, letting the gentle jingles serve as distraction enough to keep a smile on his face. But it wasn’t long until the distraction wasn’t needed. The Joker would recognize that getup anywhere.

    “Well, lookie here!” His shrill voice cut through the droll of the city like a dagger, and anyone who was anyone turned to look. This was no Batman, but if Junior was here, well... anything was possible. “If it isn’t Gotham’s cutest little bird, flown a little too far from the nest.” Joker approached carefree, tucking his keys away in a pocket so that he could open his arms wide - as though he were looking for a hug. “Be honest, you missed Uncle Joker, didn’t you?”

He’s trying to communicate that he’s allowing the other to engage in limited contact with villains and such.

It’s not as if they were difficult to spot. Other’s that look like the boy- except with one unredeeming factor about them. The fact that they would kill anyone and everyone if they could. The ‘uglier’ side of a merfolk’s species. Of course, he would never want to associate with the likes of them, but at times, one can’t help but give it a try. Not in a space where he wouldn’t be able to make way if the others were to attack. That would just be silly on his part if he were to be involved in some kind of accident.

“Well well. Where are you off to this time, I wonder.” It was Monoma’s turn to sneak up on a siren that was just minding his own business. “Lurking for your next meal? i wonder how that’ll go. Your true colors are showing- do I think it would be best to wait a while, mm?~”

        being on this unknown island did nothing to satisfy him and ultimately it had forced his plans to halt for the time being. additionally, it was clear that the league weren’t anywhere near the area. maybe they were back at base and dabi was unfortunate enough to have been dropped here. though the island was unfamiliar, it would have not been wise to take the situation so lightly and yet he was there, looking onward at a crime being investigated from the alleyway. 

        “whatever’s going in that brain of yours... hero, maybe you’re right.” his smile crooked, his tone as casual as it could be. he has definitely killed people before... previously a group of people, burnt to a crisp even. “however, does it look like someone like me, would try and pull a stunt as messy as that?” as if he thought the crime itself was sloppy, which it was. though it’s true that his appearance could easily have others suspect him, the way he carries himself by being rather aloof. but the truth of the matter is, that crime was not committed by him.

   Having entered a somewhat more shady area of the city, Tasuku had come across a hurt cat that needed attention. However, the poor distressed animal had mistaken his attempt of aid as a threat, and lashed out at him. And unfortunately enough, someone that happened to come across this scene, had made the same mistake.

  Without a way to defend himself, all that the young police officer could do was dodge what the other threw at him ( already a few scrapes and scratches on him ). He was getting quite tired as well. In fact, thanks to said exhaustion, Tasuku’s foot slipped, and he fell backwards with a thud.

Of all the places she visited with her father, Wayne Manor was never really one of Dolly’s favourites. There wasn’t anything wrong with the manor or most of it’s inhabitants, Mr. Wayne, Mr. Pennyworth and most of the boys were perfectly pleasant to her. No, the issue was Damian. She always tried to be pleasant and civil and maybe he tried as well, but they always seemed to rub each other the wrong way. Particularly when her presence meant he had to stay behind to keep her company while everyone else got to go fight crime because her dad wouldn’t let her, she could always tell Damian wanted to be anywhere but hanging around bickering with her. Still, it was customary to start their doomed dance with pleasantries, so she smiled politely at the boy.

“Good afternoon, Damian.”

Martial arts themselves were not Venom's specialty. When combined with his CQC style and his stealth, that is when he became a force to be reckoned with.

Critical strikes to an enemy's weak point would end a fight quickly, but spending the energy to fight them directly would be too tedious in this situation. Through the fight he spots one familiar face and immediately moves to back them up. Engaging his Suit's stealth mode, he sprints through a cluster of monsters, launching himself upwards and reappearing seemingly mid air as he slugs one particularly nasty beast in the face with a superman punch. Landing on both feet and drawing his handgun, he turns and drops a flying foe with precision, before reloading the magazine.

"I'm here, kid."
