“What on earth…?” Confusion ripples through the Hangar as all called members start to pile in.

“What do we do now? We were in the middle of the raid on the Skibidi when this happened- We lost both G-Toilet and Scientist Toilet!” Confusion turned into frustration before becoming questioning and nervousness. 

“We can’t leave the Titans like this, we’re so fucked and those glitch-like Skibidies are starting to crop up more though they’re more focused on the Skibidies…” An Engineer nervously paces back and forth while watching the black mist slowly fading away from the arrival

Beep Beep Beep- 

“What about Camera Elite Yin and Speaker Elite Rave?” A medic asks.

“We’ll have Security try and bring them back, something is suspicious about Camera Elite Yin’s Death and with Lucky being MIA despite being present in the raid group.” The CMO replies back while wondering about Lucky’s loyalty.

“Chief Engineers, Chief Scientists and CMO Lily, We’re here to discuss the current predicament that we’re in. We’re presently down all three Titans, who are currently being repaired and checked over despite their… shrunken state”

Next up time for more intense angst in the Potted Fanon Histories with Robin III, TIM DRAKE:

Tim, newborn: His parents bring him home from the hospital to the family mansion in Bristol, Drake Manor. They are millionaires.

Tim, 3: Was at Haly’s Circus. Saw the Graysons die.

Tim, 8-9: Realises that Dick Grayson is Robin after seeing him do a quadruple flip on the news. Becomes immediately obsessed with Batman & Robin. Starts sneaking out at night with a camera to take photos.

Tim, 8-9: Jack and Janet Drake decide that their child is just so mature and competent that really, they’re too busy with their work running a multimillion dollar medical company as internationally renown archaeologists. Tim is now left at home in Drake Manor, with a housekeeper and/or nanny.

Tim, 10-13: shortly after Tim gets into his new hobby of midnight roof vigilante photography, Jason becomes Robin. Tim is now obsessed with this new younger Robin who cares so much for children.

Tim, 10-13: attends Gotham Academy. His parents return home at irregular intervals for a few days without warning. They repeatedly encourage him to network with other children at school for Business Purposes. At some stage they decide he no longer needs adult supervision at home, as he’s just So Responsible. Mrs Mac now drops in for a couple of hours per week to do the vacuuming and cook.

Tim and his parents: Janet is an Ice Queen and Jack is abusive. Tim is unaware that this is not normal. He is being raised as a Business Baby. He is expected to skip grades at school and be working 2-3 years above his age cohort.

Tim, 11-13 (yes we’re sticking with a wide range here): Tim finds out Jason is dead when Bruce announces it in the paper. During his nights out he notices Bruce is getting more violent. Tim goes to find Dick in Bludhaven to tell him that Bruce is too violent! Dick shrugs him off so Tim is determined – he goes to Bruce and tell him that there must be a Robin and insists it is him.

Tim, 13-14: is a smol sad bean. He is now Robin and Bruce is less violent but he’ll never be a Robin like his hero ~*~Jason Todd~*~. Bruce accidentally calls him Jason and looks at the memorial case all the time. Tim knows he’s not really part of the family but he’s doing his best as Robin.

Tim, 13-14: Tim goes on a trip to Paris where he encounters assassins. No further details.

Tim, 13-14: Dick starts dropping by the Manor and Gotham every second weekend to patrol with Tim as Robin, because he’s so guilty about Not Spending Enough Time With Jason. They become close, like brothers.

Tim, 13-14: Tim encounters Steph as Spoiler when she hits him on the head with a brick. They immediately start dating.

Tim’s Parental Free Square: Janet and Jack are both alive and well and neglect Tim. They have not realised he is Robin as they’ve been home for 6 weeks total in the last 5 years.

Tim’s Alternate Parental Free Square: at an unspecified time Janet died. Jack went into a coma. Since then, Tim has been living at Wayne Manor in a spare room. One day, Jack might wake up, but it’s been months or years now.

Tim, 14: Tim forms Young Justice with his best friends Kon, Bart, Cassie and Cissie. They hang out together and play baseball in space! (the only plot that happens here)

Tim, 14-15: Tim and the rest of Young Justice (minus Cissie) become Teen Titans. No reason why, they’re just old enough now. (The only plot that happens here is Titans of Tomorrow where they meet their evil adult selves)

Alternate Robin Tim plot: Joker Junior! Due to either Reverse Robins or just a desire for whump, Tim is captured by Joker and tortured till insanity. He becomes Joker Junior.

Tim, 14-15: there’s a new villain in Gotham haunting the streets, Red Hood. Bruce is now obsessed with him and has no time to pay any attention to Tim. He has told Tim not to patrol. Dick is also worried. Tim, forbidden from going out in Gotham, goes to hang out at Titans Tower (location unspecified). Jason turns up and beats Tim up with his own bo staff and may slit Tim’s throat. Alternately, Tim sneaks out in Gotham anyway and encounters Red Hood on another occasions where he gets his throat slit. This is a major injury that scars badly.

Tim, 16: His parents die. His best friend, Kon, dies. His girlfriend Steph dies. Tim is very distraught by this and refuses to let Bruce adopt him, inventing a Fake Uncle. He tries to clone Kon 99 times in a basement.

Tim, 17: gets adopted. He meets Damian and Damian immediately tries to deliberately murder him. Several times. 

Tim, 17: Bruce dies. Tim is convinced he is not dead. If Battle for the Cowl happens, Jason tries to kill him with a batarang. Once Dick is Batman, Tim and Dick fight over whether Bruce is dead. Dick says Tim is crazy and should be in Arkham. He then tells Tim that Damian is now Robin. Tim, furious, drops out of school and runs away and becomes Red Robin.

Tim, 17: Tim is captured by Ra’s Al Ghul. He loses his spleen. He gets away by blowing up ALL the League bases and hundreds of people die. He then returns to Gotham and falls out of a tower due to Ra’s Al Ghul. Dick catches him. The spleen loss is a secret.

Tim, 17: Tim gets emancipated and is no longer legally a family member because that’s how emancipation works. He now runs Wayne Enterprises as CEO. Everyone is impressed how good at it he is and how hard he works. 

Tim, 17: Tim is still mad about what Dick said to him. Damian again attempts to murder Tim, this time by dropping a billboard on his head and when that doesn’t work, by cutting his line. Dick takes Damian’s side, and explains Tim can’t be Robin anymore because Damian just needs it so much more and look how well he’s doing!

Tim, 17: Bruce returns due to Tim’s research but he’s now mad at Tim because Tim tried to kill Captain Boomerang (who killed his parents). 

Tim, 17: (optional angst) the Daughter of Acheron tries to rape Tim and Cass saves him. This provides angst. Cass is the only person who knows or cares. 

Tim, 17: Jason apologises for trying to kill Tim multiple times and blames it on pit rage. Tim accepts this as a good explanation and becomes Best Brothers with Jason as he has apologised.

Tim, 17: Tim’s no longer part of the family and it gives him ANGST. He’s just so sad. Also he just can’t trust Dick any more and their brotherhood is Eternally Destroyed. He’s just a Coworker.

Tim, currently: Tim comes out as bi and starts dating an old classmate, Bernard. They live on a boat. Bernard was in a paincult for a while. Tim is Robin. 

Alternate Tim, currently 17: Tim is living in an apartment and running Wayne Enterprises. He does not live at Manor but he has a bedroom there. This is an argument between him and Bruce. There is still tension between Tim and Dick that they are both sad about, but Tim is cool with Jason. Tim has either forgiven Damian or they fight constantly every time they’re near each other. Tim is Red Robin.

Tim, currently: is in a relationship with Bernard, Kon or Steph, pick one. If Tim is in a relationship with Kon, Bruce vaguely disapproves and says “no metas in Gotham” a lot.

Entry Six: Date; May 17th, 2024

It’s been a bit since I last wrote in here, been busy with a few projects including “Project Fluff” as Titan Camera (aka Film) has gotten the modifications and at this point we’re on track to have Cinema to get the modifications. Only if he would stop being big ass baby and sit his fucking ASS down for a few days. He’s a good Titan but he’s defensive about himself and wants to keep everyone safe which I can respect but he needs to understand that he can relax with the rest of the Alliance. I wish I could speak to him but we’re both keeping each other at arm's length since he's still adjusting with me being around and I’m still skittish around him since he’s basically the biggest of the present Titans. He finally showed up after speaking with Monitors, he muttered under his processor and asked for me which caught me off guard. He just wanted to ask if we could discuss his actions towards me at a later date, he seemed guilty but I accepted the future conversation once he’s modified and back on his feet. I was informed a few days ago about an incident that occurred before they were able to capture me. They, the titans, were temporarily shrunken down to the size of human children and were like that for a few months before getting whatever it was reversed before the raid to capture me… Well Skibidi me, and honestly they weren’t sure if they would ever be back to normal size. This is interesting to learn about, the Science teams referred it to the Smol incident and Galaxy was involved as this was when the old base was hit by a skibidi raid and finally moved to the present base in [Redacted Location], Canada. I’m hoping that I could get a sample of this formula and see if I could make a quicker reversal, I wonder how small I would become… Webb might give me a swat if I do this.

Ok all of that and ALSO maybe a cool narrative about Dicks independence and his relationship with Gotham vs Blüdhaven. I want to see him grow and bloom at the same time he realizes Jason isn't his replacement as Robins, he's his little brother.

I want Jason learning to trust people, because he has a home now and he doesn't have to be by himself. But also Jason just being a kid because he deserves that so much. And I definitely want book nerdJason pls give me book nerd Jason pls

And Barbara showing up as Oracle ofc just because

It'd also be really funny if Dick was going out with friends and Bruce made him take Jason

Dick: Hey B I'm going out with some friends, catch you later

Bruce: Do you want me to take you?

Dick: No? They're super cool and you'll embarrass me >:(

Bruce: Alright. But you agreed to watch over your brother today since me and Alfred will be busy so you'll have to take Jason

Dick: NOOOOOO

Dick: Hey guys I'm really sorry my dad made me take my little brother I hope it's okay

Teen titans: :0

Gar: Haha he's so smol it's okay we won't even see him haha

Dick: he bites

Alright, so this kind of dynamic is what I want to see ig but also. Maybe a little kid in the background of one of the fight scenes with a camera. Just. One shot, in the background. It would make my day. (I'm desperate for Tim content )

Here’s the thing with the new Jason and Dick movie coming out.

I really hope that they don’t bring up Jason’s death.

From what I know, it’s going to be Dick and Jason in the early days. When Dick is Nightwing and Jason is Robin. I don’t think that Jason will die because that’s a lot more emphasis on Bruce and Jason than Dick and Jason. But like… I want one piece of media with Jason that is not focused on his death or resurrection.

Also, I want good dad Bruce. I want Dick and Jason to be absolute gremlins, tormenting Bruce with their little jabs and shit. I want them to have the vibe of Dick being like “Fuck you Bruce! I don’t need you anymore! I’m going on this super cool mission SOLO!!” And Bruce is like “okay son, but you have to bring your little brother with you.” And Dick is like “OMG BRUCE YOUR THE WORST!!” And Jason takes offence to that and kicks his shins.

Also also, you should really check out the studio that’s animating the movie. They have these beautiful animatronic puppets that really remind me of Laika characters. Yeah, it’s going to be puppets and stop motion. Sign me the fuck up. I can’t wait to see their designs and how it will look!! They’re called Swaybox!

any chance we could get a meta on dick/Kory in the newest teen titans movie? Pretty please

You know what nonny, why the heck not, I was filled with such utter delight at their interactions and scenes together that I got no trouble gushing about it for a few paragraphs.

Long-ass post and lotta screencaps, as per usual.

I was actually really trepidacious about Judas Contract when it was first announced.  Like, I thought there was no way it was gonna work with their chosen line-up and they were obviously gonna bring Deathstroke back from the dead and it would be lame and they were gonna keep stringing us Dick/Kory shippers along with the barest minimum of quality ship tease they could get away with.

I still don’t think everything worked about the movie.  (Raven was pretty much just as useless as she was in the comic version, Slade had none of the humanizing motivation behind his actions, and let’s not talk about their ass-backwards origin for Jericho.)  But it was surprisingly both semi-accurate to the source material and Actually Decent and fixed a few things that bugged me about the story and HOLY CATS THE QUALITY ROBSTAR CONTENT.

LIKE, THEY WERE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HAPPY SUPPORTIVE HEALTHY COUPLE AND I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF???

I will go into detail now. :)

So we open with the Titans puttering along and Dick is being Mr. Stick-Up-His-Butt and then the alien brawl draws their attention.

And we begin the beautiful Dick/Kory goodness with one of my favorite tropes ever, Love At First Sight!

Or more accurately, That Look Of Utter Awe And Adoration And “Wow Wow Who Is That I Feel Tingly All Of A Sudden She’s Shiny”.

We’re like, not even a minute in and the music goes all soft and romantic and there’s slow camera pans and the boy is already a goner just look at him.

And thus, the film establishes right away, “These two are a Thing.  They are OTP.  Enjoy! :D”

As with the 2003 animated cartoon, Robin is pretty much immediately on Starfire’s side and feels really protective over her right off the bat.  (Pardon the pun.)

He orders the Titans into action.  And Kid Flash lampshades the fact that Robin is clearly thinking with his… ahem… “little grayson”.

Robin fights the Gordanians holding onto her, freeing her.  She shouts at him about the portal and he orders Speedy to blow it up.

As the wind pulls at them, sucking the Gordanians up, Robin grabs onto her wrist and oh my gosh it is just so cute and romantic and aaaaaaaaah!

A Gordanian grabs onto her ankle and pulls her away and Robin disconnects his grapple line to go save her.

AND THEN THEY CRADLE EACH OTHER AS THEY CRASH BACK TO THE GROUND AND KORY ANGLES HERSELF SO THAT SHE HITS FIRST.

BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, HER SMOL NEW FRIEND LOOKS TINY AND BREAKABLE.

She rolls right on top of him and plants the iconic language learning kiss on him.

AND THEN THIS NERD SMILES FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE FILM STARTED AND COMMENTS, “USEFUL.” WHEN KORY EXPLAINS HOW SHE CAN LEARN LANGUAGE VIA LIP CONTACT.

WE ARE THREE MINUTES IN AND THE LEVEL OF EPIC TRUE LOVE OTP IS KILLING ME.

His face omg he is so BESOTTED.  He’s barely known her five minutes and she’s already getting started on relaxing his seriousness and helping him be more himself and less Gruff McAngsty Mini-Batman.

And since Kory still looks sad and uncertain, Dick is quick to reassure her that she’s welcome there on Earth, and welcomes her to to team.  Quintessential RobStar right there.

Everything about this opening is just framed and shot so romantically.  The camera angles and focus, the staging, their expressions.  Every single animation choice is a deliberate HEY HELLO THESE TWO ARE IN LOVE YES?

And lo, I am slain.  For this is ship tease of the highest caliber thank you more please.

To my everlasting delight, there was more.  LOTS more.

Dick and Kory being a highly effective Battle Couple, watching each other’s backs and keeping each other safe.

Dick and Kory flirting under fire and playfully teasing each other.  (Making it clear to all that they are disgustingly open about their relationship.)

Dick being respectful of Kory’s leadership and not wanting to upstage her, and reassuring her doubts when the team gravitates towards him.

Dick worrying about Kory specifically when Deathstroke attacks.

Kory being devastated when Deathstroke brags about having killed Dick, refusing to believe it’s true, and having faith in him to rescue them.

Dick asking Kory to move in with him, in front of their “kids”.

WHICH IS FRAMED RIDICULOUSLY LIKE A PROPOSAL FOR LITERALLY NO OTHER REASON THAN SHIPTEASE???

BASICALLY DICK AND KORY BEING LOWKEY MARRIED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE FILM.

There’s just SO much that’s just the essence of what I love about these two–the mutual care and concern, the bolstering each other up, the kickass tag-teaming in battle, her undying faith in him–and then it’s just added to by them being so healthily intimate and mature and adult when it comes to relating to each other.  She feels free to express her doubts and insecurities to him.  He compliments and encourages her.  They tease each other.  They talk through their issues.  They snuggle and kiss and are gross in front of their “children”.

Their relationship is so open and natural and comfortable and THIS IS BASICALLY EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED???!?!

Hello yes, I was not expecting this level of OTP, but clearly someone on the writing team for this film KNOWS and GETS the heart of Dick/Kory and why people love their romance because it is aaaaaaaalllll over this film.

They don’t even have any stupid plot drama arguments it’s just aaaaaaaaah!

OH AND THE KIDS SHIP IT TOO???  LIKE, EVEN DAMIAN WHO DOESN’T LIKE ANYONE IS ALL, “I APPROVE GRAYSON.” WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK.

I’m kind of being incoherent and rambly and not very analytical right now but just… THESE TWO.  THESE TWO and how they are written in THIS MOVIE is basically exactly perfect and exactly how you should write established couples and I would just like writers everywhere to TAKE NOTE THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT.

They aren’t forced into stereotypical roles, they aren’t squished into unnecessary UST or other tensions, they don’t butt heads, they’re just supportive and playful and adore each other and care about each other’s feelings and talk out their problems AND ARE SO RIDICULOUSLY HEALTHY TOGETHER AND MAKE EACH OTHER SO STUPIDLY HAPPY.

I just love them so much askfjhakjghjhg.

Excuse me I need to go cry and watch the movie again.

But seriously, there is literally nothing wrong with Dick and Kory in this movie, they are happy and adorable and perfect and are basically Mom and Dad to the Titans and it is WONDERFUL.

My babies.
