Bell-mère: "And then Hina told me that Smokey was crying over your picture. Do not give that man too many rums. And he got that drunk, that he puked all over Sakazuki! So you can imagine how that went down."

Cora: "No way! I always knew he was such a big baby. Crying over my picture... What did he have a crush on me?"

Bell-mère: "I mean..."

Law: Staring down Nami, who's sat in the corner of the cabin, counting money. "What a coincidence. The exact amount of money that we lost this morning. I'll make you regret stealing from me."

Nami: "Stay mad."

Cora: Looking over at the kids. "Aww look at them. They're getting along so well!"

" If that's a new assignment the vice admiral can take it back. Tell them I'm still concussed, " he spoke up as soon as the card touched the haphazard stack of papers he was currently using as a desk pillow, tired eyes betraying the laughter that the weariness swallowed up in his voice. That wasn't even a lie or an excuse - the bandages were even still wrapped around his head, making his hair stand up at odd angles. Orders or not, he still scanned it, squinting first in confusion, then suspicion, then curiosity. This was . . hm. There were a lot of boxes ticked on here. Though his training was enough to keep his expression policed into calm (perhaps fond) amusement, he could feel a bit of colour creep into his face, along the edges of his ears without his permission. Curse of fair skin - he supposed Smoker could probably relate.

| Oh man so when I set up this blog it was the plan to not ship at all, because a lot of what I've seen in fandom / fic for shipping for the bird tends to make me ~~ w i l d l y u n c o m f o r t a b l e ~~. So I wanted to just not engage at all, at least until I got a hand on the pulse of the community here and people seem pretty reasonable and chill. I've got a couple moots that come to mind! C.ora and Niamh (@intothewildsea) have a bunch of really sweet plotted dynamics things that I've been enjoying. Leigh (@onepiecc) and the bird have fun one-sided things going on currently. And SmoCora is a thing I didn't think I'd be all about but the way they balance each other pleasantly scritches my brain (@cptnslog) .

| I'm not sure! Rabbit is v aspec and not good at spotting that sort of thing, so nothing comes to mind immediately. That being said, if we write together and you ship a thing you should tell me because I might not catch it. OTL
