Hey everyone! I have a big request to ask. I was at the Sacramento show on Sunday night (March 3rd). During 16 Candles (the first verse) I held up a sign I made for Joe. He smiled and waved at me, but my cousin wasn't filming it so I don't have a good video of it :((( if anyone has a video of 16 candles especially the first verse can you please send it to me or post it jn here and tag me or something? I'm looking all over YouTube and Twitter and Instagram and not having much luck! Here's the sign for context and the setlist. Even if you're not zoomed in on Joe as long as he's visible, I'm happy with it. Thank you so much in advance.

If anything, I know the fact that armys didn’t out debut Lisa and couldn’t top SGMB is eating them up and that is my solace for today.
#dropped WHO and couldn’t even manage SMF2 numbers#with two fandoms combined#y’all SUCK#and I hope that a drop of proportional caliber sees that song tomorrow

Jimin loves love so bad❤️ a romantic at heart. He seems to really like the concept of loving someone or something and fight for it and facing hardships and overcom them ..I love that man. Everything about him is inspiring
Also, the way his father (and mother) showers him with love and support explains so much about how he turned out to be such a strong person and why he has such a loving caring personality👏

One thing I really appreciate about Yoongi's mvs (at least for Daechwita and now Haegeum) is that they have a plotline, they're very cinematic. It's like watching a movie.
#and if that doesn't inspire all kinds of au ideas then...#I already have a bit of a dark and unhinged idea from Jms SMF2 (that might not see the light of day) and now this

JM MUSE Setlist
Setlist landed. And what an interesting oh so like JM way to build up to the release.
So JM to have his IMBT as CUTE.
And we know who thinks JM embodies that wholeheartedly, don't we?
And the "JM's most recent favourite food" being TTEOKBOKKIBYJK. Couldn't stop laughing at that one. JM you minx. And the fact that BYJK could have easily been left out without any impact to the crossword.
A choice.
Once again.
One of many those two make time and time again.
We are getting a collab with Loco (for Smeraldo marching band) and featuring Sofia Carson (for Slow dance).
Also, Jon Bellion, who took part in the producing of JK's Seven and SNTY is also listed as one of the producers for JM's Who.
Makes me wonder if JM's English studies had anything to do with maybe a couple of songs in English in this album... perhaps Who and Slow dance.
Again, we will wait and see.
Oh oh oh.... remember me talking about the use of mint green and the meaning of it...
Rebirth, renewal... JM rising from the ashes (end of SMF2) white clothes, start of something new.
I just love his mind.
As did I say in my previous post, we are all in the dark here and so am I, Album not landed yet, songs not released, lyrics, MV, even concept photos not out just yet.
And yet, there is something in the air, isn't there?
Messages unfolding.
Some as clear as day,
some not just yet.
I love this.
I love JM.
I love his mind.
I cannot wait for 19 July 2024 (and before that for our first song release - Smeraldo marching band - in a weeks time).
Oh, I do have thoughts about Smeraldo marching band, the connection to TTU. Will wait until the song drops to see just where those take us.

https://www.tumblr.com/chevelleneech /757384721533714432/they-come-across-as -they-are-dating-because-they?source= share
This ask is funny for someone like me who's been in jkk spaces for yrs and i still say they're not dating lol. It's not homophobic but seeing things differently than ppl who thinks they're dating. Yes i do think they have interesting rs. Yes i do think they're very very close with eachother but as far as it goes about having romantic relationship then no i don't think they're romantically involved atleast now. They might have had crush on eachother but i don't believe they're dating or anything.
The whole chapt2 was pretty clear to me. I do believe jk missed jm given how he was binge watching jm's content but idt he missed jm as much as shippers love to think. It's a simple thing that if you miss someone and have access to their phones and can meet them personally i belive jk would have been more present in jm's album behind the scenes than he was shown. he was on break had chance of going to meet jm at any of his mv sets or more practices or his music shows like there were many options but he didn't. Looking at that live jk did where he watched jm's content for 1.5 hrs it looked like he was catching up to what was jm upto. It did not looked like he was aware of whatever jm is doing. The only thing jk knew was that jm is working on his album and nothing else. My guy didn't even know when jm's music shows were ending, when even yg and hobi knew so idt that's very boyfriend behaviour.
It looked like jk didn't know ANYTHING about the jm's album except "Letter" because he has done bg vocals for it. The another thing jk knew was when was SMF2 trailer was dropping. Other than that he was catching upto Whatever activities jm did through that bing watch. if they were dating I'm pretty sure jk would have been aware of when is jm going on those music shows or if he actually wanted to be present for one he would have already asked either jm or someone else about it nd would have gone like yg and hobi did. so no idt jk was missing jm as much as shippers think he did.
Do i think jkk hungout in 2023 Apart from the 3trips? absolutely. i believe whenever jm promised jk that he would meet him after promotions or he would go to jk's home to eat those dishes jk makes i Believe jm indeed met jk. i just think they didn't hungout with eachother as much as they have in the past. they didn't hangout as much as TK did for obvious reasons as jm himself was too busy with 2 albums that he practically would live at pdogg's home. But as jm got little free in second half of 2023 i can see them hanging out more (apart from travel show trips).
When they asked jm which members he keeps with the most his first answer was hobi and yg. RM is his neighbour yet he didn't take RM's name and through MMM we know that RM was spending time outside of BTS members so obviously jm was also giving him space (as shown in MMM it's a minimoni album exchange video). one of the reasons why he was more in touch with yg nd hobi was because they all three were working at hybe at the same time but if jm actually was more in touch with jk I'm 100% he would say jk's name. but he wasn't as much. Even through their interactions it was quite obvious they weren't hanging out together in the first half of 2023 as much. Which again shows that they can't be dating.
I'm not saying this in any negative way for their friendship but it was obvious to me. I was disappointed in jk to especially cause jm was asking him to keep coming to support him and as someone who's fan of jm i know how much he loves such surprises and how much these things mean to him and why he does those things for others. I wasn't expecting jk to go to any of jm's sets or anything but after seeing that clip of jk at jm's practice rehersal i wish he would have gone more but alas. Jm was very happy when he first saw hobi at his music show and even though hobi had already been to jm's MV set he still went for music show too. Jk was free at that time too.
They say "if you don't have jimin in your life be someone's jimin" and i can see why they would use jimin's name only cause not everyone can match his level of support and this will sound hateful but no one in BTS can match that level of jimin's.
I don’t really agree with you, but your opinion is yours to hold.

Or "conceptual" as in these feelings, he's portraying through love songs, are a metaphor for how he felt about his work, like he freaking told you, anon? How hard is that to understand?
The title song wasn't even supposed to be Who. It was planned to be a big romantic seranade. But when he returned to work on it after his FACE promotions he no longer felt that same passion for his work anymore. So he changed the whole story into him still searching for that passion and excitement, he was missing. The passion he had working with the other members and the excitement he had when he started working on MUSE in LA after SMF2. He put those happy, bubbling, excited and passionate feelings into his album in the form of love songs, since this is something most people can relate to.
Anon, he told us this. And he knew people wouldn't understand and make this album about things it's not.
PS. And him not remembering how it feels to have a crush? Okay? By definition those are either one sided or unspoken. If you've been in the same relationship for years you might not remember how those initial flutters felt like. It's also why he asked Evan, the youngest in his band, since crushes are mainly experienced by young people.
And feeling alone is something literally anyone can deal with regardless of your relationship status. Just like struggling with your mental health. Those things often have nothing to do with your partner or the people in your life. 1000 things can make you feel alone, including not being able to be 100% yourself, not being able to fully express yourself or living in a place that won't accept you. Not feeling understood by your peers (or your fans) can also make you feel incredibly alone.
This.

Jimin's documentary is what I've been wanting from bts for YEARS. I'm so glad they released such raw material. Jimin's musicality is insane, and it seems like the producers were 100% aware of that because of how much they relied on jimin and his creativity. I think it was during the commentary that he mentioned what he felt the first time pdogg approved one of his ideas, and then he called himself an idea bank!! He's usually so hard on himself, it's refreshing to hear that even though there's always a place for improvement, he knows how good he is. Another thing I enjoyed was listening to the previous versions of the songs that made it into the album and the one that was supposed to be the title track and finally got scrapped. I think I liked the alone and set me free pt.2 demos a bit more than the final product. I feel like that intrinsic grittiness and unpolished quality of an unfinished product was really fitting, and in the case of smf2 I kinda feel like it ended up overproduced... I guess, if that makes sense. Anyways, I really, really appreciate the route Jimin decided to take for his solo career, I truly hope we get to see more of that before he leaves, and when he comes back I'd love for him to get the chance to continue showing his artistry as a soloist. And regarding army shading jimin and trying to undermine him lol... what else is new? I remember namjoon once said that army would not like to see what it looks like behind the scenes when they were recording and stuff and I guess he was right. I know they hated to see how reality goes against the narratives the company has been feeding them for a decade. The supposed geniuses in the band have yet to release something as good as like crazy and they know it.
I was trying to catch some of the things Jimin said during his live watching and I was so pleasantly surprised to see how confident he was. Like, yes. He is an idea bank. That's the best way to put it because during the production, he kept coming up with stuff on the spot. I think PDogg and the rest of the marching band were so open to this because they knew how Jimin worked. That's why I keep saying that having a small team with people that know each other so well worked perfectly for Jimin and his first album.
There's no way of knowing exactly what RM said about what happens behind the scenes during pre-recordings and if it's close to what we've seen now in the documentary, but what I took from that is that in real life, people having to work on something is not all sunshines and rainbows or fun like when they recorded the ITS song. The audience gets to see the nicer, aesthetized version a lot of the times.
I'll refrain from commenting on the rapline releases now, but I'll do say about Like Crazy is that out of all the so-called "Chapter 2" songs, it is in my view the only one which is artistically compelling, intricate, well produced, tells a story, it's part of a bigger conceptual album, but also has the potential to be commercially succesful as well, which is the mark of a good pop song.

But that's the thing. If you want to make something for the fans, don't make another fan song. That's not what the fans want. Seriously, we want the Jimin we saw in Lie, Filter, Serendipity and FACE...and beyond.
We were excited to see Jimin expand his musical horizons. But this isn't it. Please tell me this isn't a harbinger for the rest of the album.
Speaking for myself, of course. If everybody else is happy, I'm truly happy for you.
i understand that you might be eager for jimin to come up with something like his solo songs from the group but let’s don’t forget that jimin doesn't adhere to a specific musical genre, based on all the songs he has contributed since ‘promise’ it's clear he enjoys exploring new genres each time. ctt and sgmb are very different from one another. you can’t expect jimin to go and recreate ‘serendipity’ or ‘lie’ all over again, he might draw some inspiration from those songs and create something similar, which is a safe approach because those songs are known to be catchy, but sgmb is something different and he took the risk because he’s still trying to experiment new sounds and at the end of the day is his music so he’ll do what he likes and feels more comfortable releasing.
but we can’t base our arguments solely on these two songs, and yes the pre-releases are made to get your attention but even if some of us didn’t got the same reaction as we did with smf2 we should wait until the entire album drops to make a fair point.

Are people really out here arguing that Jimin is straight because of fucking pronouns????
WHO is a fucking awesome song, one that few singers could ever perform the way Jimin does. It's wonderfully written, and I don't think the pronouns are an indicator it was written for JK and Golden. That's an incredibly reductive take - not everything in BTS or Jikook lore is connected. The person first credited as a writer on Who on Genius is Ghstloop who worked on Like Crazy. Pdogg is also part of the SGMB. If that "theory" gets perpetuated online, and it would fit insanely well with deranged Solos, that'd just create a whole other mess.
Anyway. Now onto the whole pronouns thing itself. Firstly: ridiculous argument. Queer people have been using pronouns in songs that don't align with their sexuality for ages. First example that comes to my mind is Freddie Goddamn Mercury, and he was openly out! He still sang about and performed with women as his love interest in MVs.
Secondly: Jimin is enlisted in the fucking military right now. Do you really think THIS - a time where he can't actually speak for himself much, can't talk to the media, where only one member is "free" and BTS' position is still terrifyingly precarious (bc SK like every society is fickle af) - would be the moment he'd be coming out??
Thirdly: why is this the hill people wanna die on? Has this one song erased all the other very openly queer themes and imagery Jimin has used throughout his entire career? His photofolio? Like Crazy's MV? The whole concept of SMF2 ? Even Intro Rebirth his very much ambiguous in its wording (the JK imagery is also very much there, with the whole real love = Tokyo GCF = JK thing and the "you are my sunlight"). But from a music/selling standard, WHO is very much single material. It's catchy af, interesting musically (there is so much depth to it, especially compared to other pop songs at the moment). Why are people getting sad like it's this hymn to straight-ness?
I'm not saying Jimin isn't into women - if I was pressured to assume the sexuality of the BTS members it would be that they're all bi/pan.
And lastly: why does everything in the world have to fit into the Jikook lore? I say this as someone who - as shown above - does see that there's moments where my shipper self comes out and over-interprets stuff. Would I have been stoked by pronoun ambiguity? Yeah. Does WHO change my perception of what JM and JK - in my opinion which us just a very uneducated guess based on conjecture founded in video snippets of their lives- feel for each other? Nope. There's a mountain of things pointing towards the fact that they're very much committed to one another, the most current example being the fact that right before they started enlisting under the buddy program, they CHOSE to go traveling together instead of spending quality time with family or serious partners (not improbable for any in BTS to have despite their immense fame...meaning I won't get to date Yoongi...) or what have you. And no one say "oh it was for content". As if two members of THE BTS wouldn't be able to put their foot down and say sth about the scheduling.
Don't have anything to add, you've summed it up everything perfectly.

Guys, keep our queen in the charts. Play Muse in order but use Face and others as filler. Please do not neglect the English and Korean versions of Like Crazy (and SMF2)! Thank you! 💜

Since Jimin looks like he didn’t have enough time for two MVs’, he could’ve pivoted and merged ideas into a single MV. Like his team all just decided to put all the energy into it and make a whole production out of it cause the dancers are hyping it like it’s a massive project.

No one can dance as smooth as jimin. No matter if the choreography is hard or simple he makes it look unique and interesting. I can watch him dancing for hours and still won't get bored.
Jimin (and Spring Day lol) was the reason I really got interested in BTS. I don't think I would've gotten into the group at all if he hadn't caught my attention the way he did. And one of the first things I noticed about Jimin and BTS as a whole, was their choreos. I honestly spent more time watching their dance practices and stage performances on repeat, than I did watching any other type of content. I was literally obsessed with their performances.
They all lost a lot of quality to their performances, tho. Both the group as a whole and each one of them. It never would've crossed my mind that some years later I would actually think of Jungkook as a bad dancer and as unimpressive as Taehyung, or as their group performances as lackluster. But here we are (we've been here since 2021).
The only one who didn't lose quality for me, is Jimin. I know he's changed and there's some missing energy that was there before the pandemic, but he was so hardworking even on simple choreos like butter and PTD. Going by FACE tho, I also think he's not really interested in doing "idol" type of dance, and he's been striving for something more complex and nuanced. I personally loved that about smf2 and like crazy. And I think the best part for me, besides his talent, is that he never gets boring. I'd watched smf2 dance practice and MV more than ten times and I was still noticing new things about it. I still don't fully grasp all nuances and ambiguity in like crazy. And I'm just talking about the choreography and his dancing. Like, this is not even taking into account the lyrics or song itself.
Jimin still embodies everything I used to love BTS the group for; dedication, grit, firm convictions, hardwork, sincerity and sensibility. And pure raw talent. No gimmicks or faking.
He really is unique. When you think of the kpop industry and how it's literally a machine mass producing the same type of songs, and choreos, and how they want everybody looking, dancing, singing, and acting the same way, Jimin has managed to set himself out for having a personal, irreplicable dance style and actually excelling at it.

Your post about face off inspired me to say this because I truly feel nervous to say it in most army spaces but… like crazy is my least favorite song from face and I feel like the only person who doesn’t love it. I definitely see a lot of love for SMF2, especially since it was a prerelease and it has incredible choreo but like… to me face off and alone are SO MUCH more interesting than like crazy, both in terms of lyrics/storytelling and it terms of musical arrangement. I definitely love and appreciate LC for its use in the narrative of face as a whole (jm exploring his identity and place in his relationships before cutting them off in alone and then the explosive reclamation of SMF2), but it just… doesn’t inspire me or give me the intense rollercoaster of emotions the other songs give me.
I hope none of this came off as hate or anything, I really just want to share my feelings, obviously everyone is allowed to like the songs they like!! I just haven’t seen many people talk about this and wanted to see if I was alone (no pun intended). During the promotions it really felt like I was almost… obligated to love LC since it was the title song and the one being performed/awarded on music shows. Oftentimes in big and passionate fandoms like army anything short of abject love and adulation for something is seen as anti behavior or not being a ‘real fan’
Anon, as long as your message is respectful I don't judge if you don't like a song. I don't expect everyone to like a song or stream like a madman or vote like a madman. Here I encourage people to do what they want.
It's totally respectable what you say. What's more, I wasn't blown away by the song or the video from the start, unlike STMFP2 or the other songs in the album. LC grew on me but it's taken time and that's ok. So you're not the only person who doesn't love the song and that's ok. It's normal because music like almost everything in life is about personal taste. You can't and shouldn't force it.
Face-Off and Alone are masterpieces from the lyrics to Jimin's voice, I really hope he does more songs in that style because they suit him so well. Those are without a doubt my favourite songs along with Letter, SMFPT2 is in a category by itself.
LC is a very good and catchy song that's not in dispute but it's not exactly my style of music so it took me a while to get used to it. The acapella version that Jimin did on a show I can't remember the name of, I liked much better.
It's sad that you're afraid to say I don't like something as much as others and that's one of the problems with this fandom, that many believe that you have to like absolutely everything the members release and that if you don't you're not a true fan. That's ABSURD. This is not an obligation, this is a hobby. This is based on personal taste, personal preferences and as such, it's all based on what you like, not what others expect you to like.
