For the first time, the little sister said that she wanted toast for breakfast at home. I don't usually make toast previously and would take her to places like Ya Kun or Kopitiam to have kaya toast and half boiled eggs. This morning, I made her a healthy toast for breakfast within five minutes, with thanks to my @smeg_sg toaster, and we were both happy and satisfied. Being a stay home mum, my list of chores goes on and on and one of it which has become cyclical, unexciting yet absolutely necessary is... doing the laundry. Yup, with three young kids in the house, laundry is a never ending story and it always seems like there are mountains of dirty clothes waiting for me. The little girl loves cocoa and so do I, and I am loving how we get to eat breakfast together everyday for now. Our kitchen might not be fully functional yet (it will be after more late nights of unpacking and tidying) but I am very much looking forward to building up my very own kitchen and serving more homecooked food for the family.
