Mario Smash Football is a very spectacular arcade title, which means a lot of fun but also a bit shallow. The overall feeling is that it looks like a prototype: the UI is basic at best and the content is rather short. Luckily, gameplay-wise, it’s a success, it plays a lot like Soccer Slam from Sega and that’s a good thing.
