CC Show Rugs for Sims 4 Horses

🍂Introducing: SmartPak Luxe Collection🍂

My first attempt at CC! I'm so excited to be sharing these luxurious show rugs. I've used @objuct's turnout blanket mesh to create two versions of show rugs for all your fancy horse needs!

There are two styles of rug available: a quilted and a wool version!

The quilted rug features simlish SmartPak labels and elastic straps, fluffy artificial fleece around the neck, and a leather front strap.

The wool rug features a rope piping border and hip ornaments, an artificial fleece neck, and a leather front strap. Feel free to customize with your own barn name!

This took way too much time and also my sanity while I was trying to learn how to blender. I have SO MUCH respect for all CC creators, especially the amazingly lovely and talented creators in the Sims 4 Horse community!

Okay finally committed to buying a new pair of boots for showing in. If my treadsteps die completely I'm just gonna get the cheapest smartpak pair I can for schooling bc it's so not worth having 300 dollar boots die after 2ish years of use.

Right now I'm just using a rubber band to keep the zipper up while I ride but they are looking pretty rough. Got ariats this time since that's what I've always had and my last pair lived the longest.

Ive never bought boots online but I compared the size charts between treadsteps and Ariat a million times and I'm just gonna trust that they'll fit 😭 I know I can always return them but I hate the idea of that.

I'm glad I checked the size on my current pair though bc the charts measured me at a slim short which would've been waaay to short on my legs. And apparently I'm a 9? I didn't trust that at first but I feel like boots are super slim on the foot anyway and I do have more of a wide 8.5 in regular shoes anyway.

Anyway I hate buying shoes 😭

What boots are people buying that won't fucking bust at the zipper after 1 season of use??

I'm about to just suck it up and get smartpak brand boots bc at least they're not 300 dollars. Like I've seen the reviews saying they stretch/wear fast but so far so does literally every boot I've owned. And I ride too often to have just one pair for showing/schooling now 🥲 my Donatello's are unzipping themselves every time I ride and I'd like to just use them until they die for schooling this summer. But I need something hardy for showing. We show a lot between all of the shows at the barn and then the 3 long weekends away we'll be going to, so I don't want to get something that's just going to be busted by the end of this year either.

And I don't have 500+ for anything particularly fancy either 💀

Like my dream would be celeris boots just for showing but I would be saving up forever for those.
