I find it funny that Wild, who has basically a couple years ish of full life experience, comes up with the most insane theories for everything

He assumed that the only other explanation to Four being able to split in Four was. That he was quadruplets who'd been hiding this whole time???

Also apparently he believed that his wolf companion Twilight in botw was a diety (and felt very uhh shocked upon finding out that he was not)

Malon made things worse, telling him about her aliens theory

What's even FUNNIER is that every time Wild expresses any sort of confusion at magic stuff that he's never seen before, everyone else in the chain acts like it's crazy for him to be weirded out by it

Honestly maybe Wild's the only one with his head on straight, rather than everyone else who are just like 'it's magic bro' like no he's right this is weird

I appreciate this because it's very considerate of the fact that he woke up with no memories not too long ago, so he doesn't have much experience to explain the stuff that's 'normal' for the chain. Plus the explanations he comes up with are funny.

I think we don't appreciate this scene as much as we should.

Cheng Xiaoshi knew it was about Lu Guang BUT he calls him "My Friend" and not "Lu Guang" like he usually would. He's scared shitless because it's not just him in danger now, Lu Guang could be too yet he doesn't use his name, a name that comes as naturally to him as breathing.

Criminals can be very well-versed in placing hits on people, especially when said people will help them achieve their goals. So if things didn't go well and Cheng Xiaoshi had given his name away, Lu Guang would've been in more danger than Cheng Xiaoshi if the rescue had failed. Cheng Xiaoshi knew this and deliberately concealed his name while also making an effective threat. That just shows how smart he is and how well he can think for himself in distress. I really adore him so much!

This was the case even before he was injured, because when he was walking alone with her in all those shady streets, he whispered Lu Guang's name as he walked a few steps behind Vivian. This tactic was proven useful as Vivian DESCRIBED Lu Guang, instead of using his name when she made her threat.

Cheng Xiaoshi knows his kindness is easy to take advantage of. He must have a lot of experience with that (😭), but he chooses to be kind. And while being good to people who may hurt him afterwards, never has he put Lu Guang in danger. He takes all the precautions possible to keep Lu Guang as safe as he possibly can, and it's very rare for his good actions to backfire on anyone except Cheng Xiaoshi himself.

And that's impossibly smart and makes him even easier to love. He's kind, he wants to help, but he has his own hard limits. The minute you mess with Lu Guang, it's over for you. We don't appreciate how fucking smart and protective he is enough, which we should. I love him so much he's just so good🥺😭💖

Link would be the type of chess player that has a hard time concentrating on the strategy of the whole board and can only concentrate on a piece at a time. He loses most games, but his strategy is nonexistent, making him extremely unpredictable. Revali is a master strategist, (which we can see in his dialogue in Age of Calamity), so Link's blockheaded, rock-eating playing style is infuriating.

so assuming vein is a mob boss/shady in some capacity, i think that if xia fei asked him, vein would be honest as much as he could (i don't think vein would risk putting xf in any real danger after all) — but it's xia fei who seems to operate under the notion of ignorance is bliss (thinking about what he said to liu xiao). perhaps even if intuitively he senses there's more to vein than meets the eye....it's not any of his business!! his boss is warm hearted and doting towards him, even if a little strict and eccentric, that's all he needs to know!! so vein doesn't need to, and let's be honest wouldn't, lie to xia fei and would hate to do so...

Wars gets recognition for his strategies (yes good). He can plan attacks that keep people safe.

Four can somehow find out the enemies strategy.

From the very start

Four has noticed patterns

He's realized motives

And he has connected the dots

In a way that's gained him more information than most.

Four keeps his cards close to his chest- generally doesn't voice things. From what we can tell, he's keeping the Four Sword a secret simply for the drama.

And he didn't lie- he did know the postman was using the gates before it was confirmed

Conclusion: Four's got brains. It's subtle how much he knows- details he's barely voiced
