Personal headcanon that although both Portugal and Spain were extremely good navigators, and both pretty knowledgeable of astronomy and sky mapping (there's a reason Portugal has an armillary sphere in its coat of arms) Portugal excells at shipbuilding and cartography, whereas Spain excells at "reading" the winds and ocean currents, and is generally pretty good with orientation, which is what allowed him to succeed in open sea navigation, while Portuguese sailors usually pioneered in navigation dicoveries but rarely ventured too far from the coastline. Summing up, while Portuguese navigators were innovators who laid the groundwork for long-distance exploration with excellent ships and detailed maps, the Spanish might have perfected ocean navigation through their ability to harness natural forces like the winds and currents, allowing them to excel in open-sea voyages and global expeditions, thus my hc for these two.

Hey, coming from someone who was groomed multiple times by proshippers when I was younger than even you are, you like NEED to get out of that community. That stuff isn't good for your head and will have a very real, very negative effect on your mental health regardless of it being fiction. I have (genuinely diagnosed) C-PTSD because of the stuff people in that community exposed me to and did to me.

The community is full of pedophiles. My case is not an isolated one. I know countless people who were groomed and abused by proshippers. Get out while you can.

im really sorry to hear about what you've been through. i hope you're on the path to recovery from such a terrible experience. and i. sincerely appreciate and understand your concern, but i'll be ok,.. i mostly only talk w my boyfriend and friends in rl because i don't like talking with others online. and the proshippers i *do* interact with online have been incredibly kind and accommodating.

just saw like, a really dumb wojak meme that says black and brown girls feel represented with princesses while black and brown guys feel represented with roman reigns. and like yea, its sexist but im also reminded of how white ppl in wrestling fandom fucking assumes we like roman reigns because third-worlders (spesifically indians) think wrestling is still real when in reality, seeing a man of color (reigns is samoan) be depicted as a funny, cool, yet tormented and occasionally emotional guy deal with family expectations in good and bad ways (sometimes failing, sometimes excelling, sometimes dissatisfied) is a relatable and moving narrative for us. most ppl in the world find irony-pilled white guys who think they're above it all to be annoying and boring actually. the smarky in-jokes and references to christianity arent funny nor meaningful and its driving ratings away!

Honestly, a lot of it happened so fast that it was hard to keep track of my thoughts at the time.

When I was like a little kid again, I was like this feels weird, like really weird. I was like oh crap, I better not be stuck like this. I don’t wanna go through my voice cracking again. When I was a baby, I had no thoughts that I can remember at the time. I remembered those thoughts after the fact. When I was a really old man, I remember thinking oh my God everything hurts, especially my back.

I don’t wanna know what would’ve happened if Bruce didn’t fix it. I’m just glad he did. I didn’t want to go through puberty again, and I’m sure as hell not ready for my back to hurt like that yet.

I was so glad to be back to normal after that…even if one version of me did pee in my pants.
