Continuing yesterday's theme of "only one pickup"...

1966 #Fender#Musicmaster II

I guess if I had to choose the position for my only-one-pickup guitar, I would generally choose "neck". A single neck pickup guitar may not look anywhere near as *fierce* as one with a single bridge pickup, but the tone of a neck pickup is rounder and more bass-y than a pickup in the bridge position. Maybe If I was ever playing live on a big stage and needing my absolutely *blistering* lead phrasing to cut through a mix already crowded in the low to midrange sound spectrum, perhaps my preference of pickup position might possibly permutate.

But sitting here alone, ham-fistedly noodling in my living room, I need the fullest tone I can get! 😂

COMPLETED - This is one of my latest commission pieces that I've been working on, it is none other than a miniature replica of one of Ed Sheeran's guitars and this one is called "Cyril"... Previously I made "Nigel" too which was immensely fun to make and I now feel like somehow I'll end up making the whole set of 5 (I think it is, correct me if I'm wrong...) If the commission comes in, I'd be doing it 😂 it's also weird because this is an example of how my artwork teaches me about things I previously had no idea about... Stewmac has these kits available for small travel guitars. They have a full width nut, full size hardware etc but are compact. I really want to build some of these. Is anyone interested? I could build you one starting at about $400, including polished frets, rolled fretboard, stain and nitro finish (not high gloss, because that takes forever) etc. Prices would vary depending upon the level of paint perfection and any electronics upgrades. Thanks for asking! I got my very first hat from Ane-san (Kouyou Ozaki) way back when and ever since then I’ve really been into hats. If you want to know, I now get my hats from local stores around the area or when I travel. I buy every hat that catches my interest and I’d say I have good tastes in hats. Wouldn’t you agree that my hat looks great? That bastard Dazai will never understand the true beauty of hats what an unfortunate soul.
