Tips for Choosing the Right Small Dining Table
Measure Your Space: Before making a purchase, measure your dining area to ensure the table fits well and leaves enough room for movement.
Consider the Shape: Round tables can create a warm, inviting atmosphere and are great for small spaces, while rectangular tables might fit better in narrow areas.
Material Matters: Choose materials that are both durable and easy to maintain. Wood, glass, and metal are popular options that can enhance your décor.
Complement Your Style: Select a table that complements your existing furniture and décor to create a cohesive look in your dining area.

oh yeah here's my first sketch i made in procreate a few days ago :)
just got an ipad and an apple pen from some friends so i'm gonna try to use it every now and then, still lots to get used to but it's also pretty dang cool being able to draw where i'm looking lol
still gonna be focused on using krita for a bit though for hollowframe dante since i (fucking finally) started that yesterday
you know what speaking of which, here have this sketch wip as a treat :) (done in krita not procreate, as you can probably tell lol):
i really should be doing thumbnail sketching before going straight into details and shading on the first idea lmao, though tbf i've had a lot of time to think of ideas in my head and i'm pretty happy with this sketch anyways
#small sketchdump cause why not i guess#i think that little procreate sketch of dante did help prime me for starting hollowframe dante#helped me understand his details and shapes a bit more#so i guess that counts as my thumbnail sketch lolll#even has a similarish pose#rambling#warframe#warframe fanart#warframe dante#hollowframe#UpsideDownSmore's art#procreate#krita#sketch dump#currently just getting out of the usual post-art art slump where i feel like i'm going really slow#doesn't help that i'm still stuck at my parent's place with my stuff set up on an uncomfortable wood chair and dining table lol#going back to my apartment on tuesday most likely so hopefully i can be a bit faster there

Sometimes a small vase and a couple of $4 mix and match bouquets can do wonders for a brighter day
#ghost posts#grandma is visiting so while I was at the store I got a small one#i don’t have big bucks or anything. but I thought she’d like something#since she’s just out of hospital#so I fluffed it up a $4 one with another $4 baby’s breath#and it was simple but it was bright#and she liked it and talked about how her mother always had flowers out on the dining table#so I’m glad#flowers are nice pick me up I think

sorry for telling you all about my personal philosophies on life and how that ties into the art form that is the apartment i built in my head, do you still think i’m hot
#currently running my hands across the green velvet couch and leaning my head against the pillows to look up at the small vintage chandelier#above me. btw#not like. in real life. in my head yk? this place is not real but it is so real to me and i can tell you about each and every corner of it#the roll top desk and the wall of clocks and the worn leather chair and the fireplace pokers and my grandmother’s grandfather clock and the#copper hammered pots and the paintings framed on the walls and the butcher block counter tops and the rose sheets and the black china#cabinet and the colonial styled chairs and the farm painting above the dining table and the vanity table and the tile and the kitchen#curtains and the bay window and the stained glass and the deep wood floors and—

reminds me of when i had. what was basically a dinner party in college. by which i mean i made spagehtti and meatballs and poured wine for myself and my guests and the duality of eating a decidedly adult meal in a tiny college dorm was incredible lol

i just finished the our dining table ep and heck… i cannot explain how my heart aches for minoru. like it’s been building up across all these eps but now that it’s finally at the point where he let his own feelings out and just as quickly as it happened it was over. in the same breath he confesses and asks to return to normal, and i know yutaka didn’t say anything to fight that or indicate otherwise, but just that innate inclination in minoru to shut it down, it just speaks to this overall feeling i get from him when he has his quieter moments away from his family and yutaka. that this is it. that this is just gonna be the extent of his happiness, and it’s not bad, bc he’s happy, but it’s just the feeling of there is nothing more out there for him, bc he gave that up for this happiness, and it’s not a regret, you just feel that absence. it makes it feel like him wishing for more with yutaka is asking too much, and it hurts bc now it does feel irreversible, and that doesn’t just affect him but tane too, the one he prioritized over everything else. you can see how the narrative in his head could go; i asked for too much and now that’s affected the people i care about the most. but that’s why the story works. it’s two people that have just blended into the background of their own lives finding a way to put themselves first sometimes, just in the smallest of ways, be it with love or with food. bc in the same way putting in time and effort to make a nice meal for you and others can feel special and indulgent, wanting love can feel like indulging yourself, but this show shows that both are the things that bring us joy, and wanting them is never too much to ask.
#it’s late#im emo#this show feels like the most bittersweet hug#that finds all the smallest ways i am broken and then holds them close and cares for them#I just adore shows that are ok with their quietness#and when that quietness can speak volumes like this#bc nothing is overplayed#and yet you feel the hurt of the situation just as much as you do in a blown up melodrama#their pain has always been quiet and familiar bc it’s something they both have to live with#and I love that this show says yes that pain exists and we can talk about it and comfort it#and we can also let it be and find happiness in the face of it#that past and those feelings are part of you but they don’t make you#and this show finds all the small and beautiful and comforting ways to fill the rest of your life with all the good there can be#i just think shows like this that are so kind to their characters and to the world are an absolute joy and necessity#our dining table

#i knew the vibes were going to plummet as soon as we left the restaurant#ny dad actually isnt in a bad mood about it#he didn't like the loud music but hes not mad about it#but my mom is like 'i picked a bad place i shouldn't have picked that one i didnt even know they had music#and they just HAD to sit us at the loudest table 🙄'#well yeah. it was the only one open when we got there#and she kinda complained about her food and the waitress 😵💫#she said she was stressed the whole time bc she knew my dad was stressed#well. the difference between them is my dad was stressed about the loud music#but once we left the place with the loud music. he wasn't stressed anymore#my mom was stressed. so she will find every single thing she can to contribute to her stress. and it will remain. for hours#in fact. probably years from now. we will be like remember that nice trip in September 2024 :) and she will be like#'oh yeah the one with the awful restaurant that i picked out that everyone was miserable about'#(she was the most miserable bc she stressed herself out)#and its just.......... :/ im sorry my dad was uncomfortable with the noise. and that my mom didn't have a good time#but. i cannot remember the last time a restaurant caused LESS anxiety actually.#and on a different vacation earlier this year we went to a restaurant that Everyone else wanted to go to#and it was quite literally one of the most miserable experiences of my life#it was SO loud. the dining room was so small and cramped and it was so crowded and everyone was YELLING#i kept headphones in the whole time and sat with my head down and could barely even eat anything#it was like. an hour+ long panic attack. i wanted to cry the whole time#but when that happened. my moms dinner wasnt ruined bc she felt bad i was stressed#so . 😐 im just saying
