Okay, I think I mostly gathered my thoughts. So

My personal highlights from the second Zagreb concert (11/11/2023)

Meeting my friend's friends in the queue and us sharing snacks while freezing outside

Managing to get to almost exact middle of the stage in the third row

4 of us playing "finish the sentence" for an hour while we waited and two girls joining us and laughing so much because we kept fucking up

I know I said Jan's magnetism is fascinating, but now that I was closer, I definitely see why sm ppl recorded primarly Bojan. When he meets your gaze for a second it's like. Okay, let me just breathe for a second

Experiencing Kris on the stage too, since I could bareky see him yesterday! I know he was feeling unwell but he still had that ethereal glow to him

Getting to see irl how differently Jan and Kris handle guitars? Like, I am absolutely no expert but Kris seems much more controlled and precise and Jan just...goes to twon with his guitar 😂 love them both it's just interesting how different their styles are

I finally got to see Jure omg. His drum solo was so good and I don't think I realized how much force he puts in his movements before. He is panting because his entire body is moving constantly while he plays the drums. Insane. I love him

Also, during Umazane Misli, Bojan sending a microphone to one girl who had a sign, another girl taking it and Bojan looking like a disapproving teacher(dw they both got to sing in the end)

MAKS' GOODBYE AND HIM HUGGING EVERYONE

Like. Bojan hugged him first after the announcement and Maks was very clearly flustered and turned to leave the stage. And then Kris pulled him into a hug from the side and then everyone took turns hugging him

Again, I am probably forgetting things but overall, both concerts were an amazing experiences and I am just floored. I looked forward to this for so long I thought real experience couldn't compare to how I imagined it but boii, I was wrong. I am so thankful I got the change to experience them live

way that Yoshiki is gay/queer and doesn't like his twon and you can see the enitreee storyyy as a metaphor for being gay in a conservative little village and aldjfalksdfj;lasdkf

(i KNOWWW there's lore and such but honestly my brain never remembers the lore and worldbuilding for anythinggg. IT's still cool though!)

I only recently finished reading (i think up to chapter 27? that's all i could find) but its SO GOOD! I love the artstyle (stunning absolutely stunning) and I love the characters and I love the worldbuilding so so much-

Yoshiki my beloved <3 I love how quietly but also very integral his queerness and the shame that comes with it is drawn into the story, like in the little moments where his eyes are drawn to hikaru before he averts them, its really nice. And also very integral to who he is. why does he think he's a monster? its not directly stated but We Know. Also yes his conflicting feelings when it comes to 'hikaru'!! It's so scrumptious just *cheffs kiss*

AND ALSO!! Fake hikaru I love him sm, I always enjoy characters who aren't necessarily malicious but still nonetheless their behavior doesn't ever really match up with what larger society does deem proper (cough cough), esp when the character himself is on an almost 'higher' plane of existence and just has a very different fundamental understanding off the universe. (even though he's not really necessarily a higher being!!) Like the way 'hikaru' doesn't really understand the difference between life and death, and operates based on his own wish to be able to stay with yoshiko as he slowly has a place carved out for him by yoshiki's side, but as he spends more time he starts to understand more ab why someone wouldn't want someone else to die (KIND OF like this OTHER character from after god, another manga (orokapi)). And as he learns of the consequences of him being there, especially in regard to how its reflected onto yoshiko, he decides to return to the mountain even though he desperately wants to stay where he has a place to be,,,,,,,,,,laskdgjlskgajgd :(( (like that one post calling him a fragile monster,,,,,like he really is isn't he </3)

and the moments between hikaru and yoshiki are so achingly tender!! I love how this author formats the pages and draws the scenes and expressions and movements sm, especially in ch 9 where yoshiko goes out to look for hikaru and finds his body, that entire sequence is just so stunningly illustrated and drawn you can feel the building panic and cold horror/dissociation once yoshiko finds the body- (I saw someone point out how 'hikaru''s shadow always doesn't have its head shown, indicating how he isn't really hikaru, which is such a fun detail) (and just the tenderness of how yoshiki cups the corpse's face as his mind runs and runs and runs and runs and runs-)

AND THE WAY 'HIKARU' ONLY COMES BACK BC HIKARU'S LAST WISH WAS FOR YOSHIKO TO NOT BE LONELY!!! LIKE DAMN!!!! DEVOTION AS A CURSE FR!!!

(it's kind of almost laughably silly how hikaru actually died bc he got distracted like dang :((( who planted that tree there??? /lh)

ASAKO!! I esp really really liked the chapter where she does confront 'hikaru' ab who he really is, that window into the grief of knowing your friend is truly dead and you weren't able to properly mourn for so long, and he's not really ever coming back again-

but also along the way that creeping, growing suspicion that something is wrong, because your intuition hasn't ever been wrong before when you can see these things-

and in general there friend group is absolutely adorable!! Including all the separate interactions the hair segment was so cute and relatable, my hair is so easy to take care of but i can't say the same for any of my friends lol

AND I LOVE THE ART SM!!!! JUST IT'S SO WHIMSICAL IN A WAY BUT LIKE SUFFOCATING? IDK it communicates the environment and mood SO WELL, and i love how the text/sound fx have been formatted on the page to convey an almost opressing, overbearing heat and weight of summer, and the character designs are all so lovely :0.

I really do love all the characters too, like they're written super nicely in a way that feels very, um idk how to describe it but 'real', like it doesn't feel as much that any single one was necessarily brought in solely for plot purposes even though that is the point of them, like their is at least a hint of deeper though processes for each. This does make their interactions so scrumptious tho :DD

If the accusations are false, and honestly even if they aren’t, I have to wonder why apologize so quickly. If there were no wrongdoings, than what are the wrongdoings he’s apologizing for?

See the thing is, by the time the apology came out there was only 1 accusation.

The one that said the he was a "gold digger" and a bad boyfriend. Those rumors are bad, but not career ending. He's an idol, how good he is as a boyfriend isn't really any of the fans business and it doesn't affect how good he is at his job.

Why the apology so soon?? Well, from what I remember from other SM scandals they do tend to write apology letters very quickly.

Taeyong did it as well during his bullying scandal, but then Dispatch ran an investigation and found out that he was the one being bullied....

So, that does lead me to believe that SM might make their idols apologize super fast regardless if they did it or not, just to try and shove things under the rug quickly....
