🍽: Slurpin' Ramen >Choice of meat: chashu >Spicy level: 3 - super spicy -- I'm going to admit that I'm the type of person who only enjoys a couple of spoonfuls of broth at the beginning and end of a meal when I order ramen, but for once, I actually drank almost all the broth. It probably helped that the tonkotsu broth wasn't oily but man, the black garlic oil really adds a nice flavor to the broth.👍 Super spicy isn't that spicy but I suppose it was pleasantly spicy in the beginning... before I got used to it. lol My dad used the 2 free 50 cent toppings yelp offer cuz I don't care for additional toppings tbh. However, we did order a side of takuan (pickled daikon radish) and kimchi at $1 and $2 respectively. They actually gave a lot of kimchi (enough for 2 people imo) and the takuan slices (5 circular pieces) were pretty thick as well. I really enjoyed the contrast of flavors between the ramen and takuan the most.☺️ Perfect day to have a bday dinner with my dad considering his birthday was yesterday and mine is tomorrow.😂 Happy belated birthday, Dad~!
