what is the sludge deku au?👀 sorry if you’ve answered this before!
It's my fucky little wip where Izuku gets possessed by the sludge villain and disappears for like a year until the sludge villain is arrested. Izuku gets dismissed by the villain and survives against all odds but acts very zombie like. He's taken in by Nezu and Inko reluctantly agrees to give him shared custody so he can try and bring Izuku back to normal, or at least bring him back to like Functional Human Being. Katsuki ends up involved because for a while the only thing Izuku can say is "Kacchan" and Izuku is in general more receptive to Katsuki than anyone else. Ochako also volunteers to help, because I wanted to write about her mainly lol. I'm mainly aiming for like. humoristic horror kinda stuff and of course heart shattering angst because that's what I love most.
#aizawa is also there having a terrible time#I'm really having fun writing this I love writing creepy shit. and giving kacchan an absolutely terrible time#ask//#mha#sludge deku au#ig?

AFO can't take One for All so he decides to be petty and make Izuku into a Nomu using a quirk similar to the Sludge Villain from EP 1.
Quirk:
Fizzy Slime - A green-to-purple gradient slime that shines in sunlight. It fizzes and bubbles with crystals in it. It makes up a good portion of Izuku's body, pretty much everything but his organs, face, and some of his hair are now slime. If you shine a light through it, you can see his organs and bones. He can control even the smallest amounts of it.
Fizzy Slime is made by the fusion of One for All and Slime Body. The crystalline structure of OFA dissolved into the slime. Eating it can give you a share of power. If Izuku spreads himself too thin, he won't be able to use the power of OFA until he brings himself back together and recharges.
He can still use some of the quirks of OFA, although they are all modified by the Slime Body quirk.
Smokescreen and Float are completely merged into Fizzy Slime and completely unusable. They instead altered the properties of the slime, smokescreen creating bubbles and float causing the slime to float up in globs like lava lamp fluid.
Fa Jin and Gearshift are difficult to use, if he uses too much they will cause his sludge to scatter on impact. This can be fixed by using Blackwhip.
Blackwhip allows him to control tendrils of slime in a more exact form than if he just had the base slime ability. He can also use it to pull himself together. The whips are covered in slime and just appear to be black forms within the slime.
Danger Sense is the only quirk that remains completely untouched. Although, it does makes his fizz increase.

Please!
AU where both Izuku and Bakugou are rejected from UA Hero Course.
And to make it juicy. The reason for the rejections is the suicide baiting incident being known by UA. While Bakugou is rejected for obvious reasons. Izuku is rejected for his ‘own safety’ and because they won’t trust his psyche went unscathed.
1- The thing about Bakugou is that he was not particularly well liked by his classmates at Aldera. Oh, he had friends, and no one was willing to stand up to him, but plenty of students had grudges about how he acted. They rolled their eyes when Bakugou went on a rant about being the only one who could make it to UA, or his lackeys hyped him up, but then they'd look away without a word when he caught them and glared. No one was going to say he wasn't powerful and couldn't do it, just like they weren't going to say Deku had any chance. Sometimes, capable people are also very annoying, and you just have to deal with that, so the kids did. And if a few were in a small group chat that would sneak pictures or videos to show the kids not in their class and complain, well, that's what the kids did. And then one day, one filmed the conversation after school, after Bakugou threw out the notebook, and posted it publicly, as well as in the chat.
2- nothing came of this. Izuku had either blocked or been blocked by a lot of his classmates online, and hadn't really bothered to look for most of them anyway, so neither he nor Bakugou are aware of the video. The sludge villain sort of happened an hour later, and that's what got the big media buzz- the news couldn't publish the names of the teens involved if they ever even had them, but locally, people at Aldera knew who the kids on tv were.
3- the next year, UA has its recommendation exams. Every student is meticulously background checked before even being accepted as an potential for the exam and interview. A couple weeks later, they have the standard exam. The background checks will happen after this- UA after all has a very prestigious image. Bakugou wasn't wrong that if he took his lackey's cigarette and UA found out, his chances would be gone. Unfortunately for him, the video was still online. Mostly forgotten about... Until it contained not one but two potential UA students.
4- Nedzu and the six hero course homeroom teachers are on the board of student admissions, but so are two others each from administration, public relations, the school board, and the heroics commission. The top fifty scorers are ruthlessly picked through. The video is watched. Some want to exclude Izuku, some Bakugou, some both. Nedzu would prefer to have them both enrolled in separate classes, but is outvoted. He doesn't warn the board this will mean All Might will not be staying on to teach - he really can't, without telling secrets, but he does warn All Might the next night, and gracefully accepts his resignation.
5- a week after the exams, acceptance and rejection letters are sent. These are simply written on paper. Apparently neither of them are a good fit for the school. No further reason is given. Bakugou spends one day in his room, quieter than ever, then rush applies to other schools. Shiketsu is supposed to be UA's equal. Perhaps their admissions process will be less rigid. Or perhaps his rise to number one is "supposed" to come from humble starts, and Aldera Middle School wasn't that, but some mid rank hero school is. Meanwhile, on the beach, All Might tells Izuku that he actually ended up with the most rescue points in the exam, and his score was high enough to place him in top ten... It was just the screenings afterwards that did it. Perhaps the school was concerned about his health, with him breaking nearly every limb. Or perhaps his incorrect quirk registration was a red flag- either way, it's things All Might blames himself for, Izuku is the one who passed the test, and with only a few hours of having OfA too. So All Might asks Izuku what he wants to do- try for another hero school nearby? Toshinori probably can't get a job there on short notice without being suspicious, but he'll work to train him every day after, and come up with some other excuse for why he's in the field less. Or, should he reach out to I-island? Toshinori's even willing to see about setting up a personal internship with himself or Gran Torino, though he really kinda hopes Izuku doesn't pick that one. Izuku bursts into tears and apologies, having only held them back this long out of shame, they hug, and Toshi tells Izuku to take his time deciding, it'll be all right, because Izuku is here and he has full faith in him, regardless of what UA admissions thinks.
#wow. class 1a is about to have such a peaceful year.#possibly at the detriment to their personal growth but i mean they're teenagers they'll be fine and figure it out over time anyway#pocket talks to people#anon#ask game

‘Till the End of the Line: Bakugo Katsuki’s Twin AU chapter 2
Ch1 ao3 link wattpad link i'm sorry this took so long, vet school is killing me ;-; this chapter has been sitting in my drafts for so long but the latest episode made me finally do it
The following months have been extensive for both Katsuki and Mitsuko. They tried to be consistent with their morning runs, but there were times where one or both of them would sleep in. Mostly Mitsuko, which pissed her twin a lot. After school, they would spend an hour improving their physical condition and stamina, and another hour training with their quirks. All while trying to keep up with their studies and reviewing for the entrance exam.
Ten months had passed, and the twins are now walking towards the enormous gates of UA High School. They took the written exam a few weeks ago, which was easier than they expected. Today is the day that the twins are anticipating the most, the practical exam. Mitsuko felt a mix of emotions as she looked up the school’s crest on top of the gate. She’s nervous, but at the same time she’s excited and can’t wait to put her training to use.
As they entered the school grounds, a familiar curly green hair caught her eyes. “Hey look, it’s your bff,” she nudged her brother.
From a few feet away, Midoriya Izuku stood at the middle in deep thought. Probably freaking out on the inside.
“Out of the way Deku!” Katsuki yelled.
“Kacchan! Micchan!” Izuku called in surprise.
Mitsuko visibly cringed at the nickname he used to address her and eyed the boy. “I told you to stop calling me that.”
“Move it! Or I’ll kill you!” her brother spat, unaffected by the childish nickname.
The boy immediately stepped out of the way and stuttered. “G-good morning! Let’s uh— let’s do our best!”
The twins didn’t say anything back, but she gave him a small smile before continuing to walk to the building.
“Isn’t that Bakugo? From the Sludge Villain Incident?”
“Yeah. And that’s the girl from the video. They’re twins aren’t they?”
Mitsuko is used to people murmuring about them, given that her brother is a big show off. This isn’t the first time they had people talking about something that one of them did, so she chose to ignore the whispers and looked ahead.
Inside the auditorium, they were greeted by the Voice Hero, Present mic. Mitsuko sat next to her brother, as well as Izuku who chose to be seated next to them and is currently fan boying over the pro hero at the podium. Katsuki tried telling him to shut up, but the boy kept muttering to himself and Mitsuko had to lean away from his direction to avoid getting distracted.
“As the application says, you’ll be participating in a ten minute battle in a mock city. Get ready! After this, you will head to your assigned battle center.”
She looked at her examination card, and then glanced over her brother’s.
“In other words, they’re not letting friends work together, huh?”
“You’re right,” Izuku agreed, his eyes glued to the blonde boy’s card. “We have consecutive numbers, but different centers.”
“Don’t look, want to die?” Katsuki threatened. “Tch. Now I can’t crush you, damn it.”
His last words made the curly boy move away a bit and turn his attention back to the stage.
“Makes sense,” Mitsuko whispered, her focus still on her card which displayed a letter C while her brother got A. “The exam is meant to test our individual abilities. They wouldn’t want us to tag-team.”
Present Mic continued his presentation. He went on to inform them about the types of mock villains they will be facing and that each type represents 1, 2, and 3 points each. They were also told about the gimmick villain that they’re supposed to run away from since it’s just there to cause trouble and not give points.
She played with her fingers as she tried to listen, making sure she knows every detail.
“Stop fidgeting,” her brother snapped. “It’s annoying. Why are nervous anyway?”
“I don’t know. It’s a mix between excitement and anxiety. And this orientation is taking so long,” she replied, intertwining her fingers to keep them steady.
“You’re right. We’ve heard enough, I can’t wait to crush those bots. Think you can get a hundred points?” her twin asked, still looking ahead. Although it’s obvious that he’s also starting to get restless.
“A hundred might be impossible, considering the time limit, the competition, and the fact that we won’t have any idea where the villains would be.”
“I can make it possible,” he brother scoffed. “And I’ll make sure to get the first spot.”
“Is that a challenge?” she raised a brow. “Whoever gets less points have to do the other’s chores for two weeks, then.”
Katsuki grinned at the raised stake. “Deal. Let’s show these extras how it’s done.”
***
Mitsuko tried containing her loud heartbeats as she stood before the door where the exam is going to take place. After the orientation, they were directed to change out of their middle school uniforms and get on the bus that would take them to their respective battle centers. She had changed into a white racerback tank top and some sweat pants.
The format of the test is very fortunate for her, since her quirk can easily be utilized. She imagined how those with quirks that only works to people would do against robots.
“Let’s do our best!” she heard an excited voice. Mitsuko looked over her shoulder to see a girl with pink hair and pink skin talking to the people around her with no tinge of awkwardness. They locked eyes for a moment.
“Huh? Why do you look familiar?” the girl looked at her with a hint of recognition.
Before she could respond, the voice of the hero Present Mic echoed through the speakers.
“Start! What are waiting for? Real fights don’t have countdowns!”
Mitsuko didn’t waste any second and ran inside the training grounds, using her quirk to propel herself forward.
She saw a couple of number 1 and 2 robots straight ahead. Without any hesitation, she pointed her palms toward them and willed her quirk out. Her forearms glowed in bright white-yellow color. The light traveled onto her hands into her palms before blasting to the direction of the robots. They exploded with the contact, leaving electric sparks and smokes.
“Nice quirk ‘ya got there,” a voice from behind commented. Mitsuko whirled around and saw a boy approaching her. He’s got blonde hair and gray eyes, but what caught her attention (in a bad way) was the annoying smug face that he has.
She didn’t reply, so the boy continued. “Must be nice having a quirk so flashy, huh?”
He tapped her on the shoulder, and a look of recognition flashed across his face for a second, before being replaced with a smirk. “Weren’t you that girl from the video? Didn’t expect you to be here after all that shit talking to those heroes.”
The smirk was one thing, but his words made Mitsuko’s blood boil. Her red pupils dilated and her right eyebrow raised as she tried to stop herself from blinding the guy. She shouldn’t be distracted right now.
Another batch of robots showed up, and she thanked the heavens for giving her an excuse to walk away from where she’s currently standing.
“Sorry, but I don’t have time for a chitchat,” she said in a monotone voice, swatting the guy’s hand away from her shoulder.
She ran to destroy the robots, but before she could stretch her hands out, quick flashes of light reached and blasted them into pieces. No, those were not just lights, they look too much like hers.
She looked back to where the lights came from, confusion clearly visible from her face.
“Whoops! Sorry for stealing points from ‘ya, but I gotta do what I gotta do, don’t ‘ya think?” it was the same blonde guy, still wearing his irritating smirk. He turned on his heel and began walking away. “I’ll be having this flashy quirk for a while, better make use of it!”
Those words confused her even more. Did he just get her quirk?
She shook her head and put her focus back on the exam. Shit. Was he trying to stall me for some reason?
The exam just started, but she could’ve gotten more points if she wasn’t standing around having a one sided conversation with that guy. She can’t afford to waste more time.
She flew around the grounds looking for more targets, blasting her quirk backwards to levitate and propel herself faster. Taking down every robot she encounters along the way as quickly as she could.
She was at 23 points, if she counted correctly, when she reached the area where a lot of the kids are gathered. Present Mic’s voice echoed through the speakers again.
“We have reached the half time!! Five minutes left before the exam ends!!!”
She saw a bunch of robots with different points surrounding the students. More people means more robots to see them as targets. Just as she figured.
Mitsuko jumped over, smirking in satisfaction as she shot her quirk out at every single robot within her sight while using her flexibility and agility to maneuver herself.
The kids stared at her in awe. “What an awesome quirk she’s got.”
“Isn’t she the girl from that one video?”
“Hey! Leave some points for us!” one of them shouted out.
She continued gathering points, keeping herself airborne using her quirk and sometimes stepping on the robots to use them to keep her momentum. She kept going, faster and quicker, not letting the others steal points from her again.
By the time her feet touched the ground, all of the robots around the area were already blown into bits. Mitsuko wiped the sweat from her forehead and tightened her ponytail. She also noticed her arms glowing a bit. She must’ve used up the stored energy in her body since it’s currently absorbing sunlight again.
“You are so cool!! Those movements were amazing! You look like you could be a great dancer!” the same pink girl ran to her with enthusiasm. Mitsuko just noticed a pair of horns protruding out from her pink curly locks.
“I don’t dance,” she replied, looking around for more robots to destroy. She realized she lost count of her points after her exhibition earlier.
“Really? You should try! The way you’re moving while fighting is awesome!”
“I came here to be a hero, not a dancer,” Mitsuko cut the girls’ blabbering. “Sorry, but I really don’t have the time to–“
The ground shook, and a loud grumbling mechanical sound cut her last sentence. She looked up to see a huge robot approaching. It’s the zero point they were supposed to run away from.
Anyone with no balls would run away from that thing, all right. She thought to herself.
“Let’s go! That’s a no-pointer!” the pink girl pulled the back of her top.
Before they could take a step back however, the robot continued to stroll through the streets, destroying the buildings and causing debris to fall down.
Talk about keeping the damage to a minimum!
People began to scatter in a panic. Everyone was pushing trying to run away.
A huge piece of the building’s wall caught Mitsuko’s attention. It was plummeting into the direction of the students, specifically the pink girl. Mitsuko didn’t even realize that the girl started running off. The girl was looking over her left shoulder, seemingly trying to call Mitsuko to join the retreat. While the debris was coming from her right side, a complete blind spot.
She hasn’t trained much to target moving objects, not to mention fast ones. So she decided not to try and shoot it while it’s falling down.
Her next action was caused by the heat of the moment. It was a crazy idea, but she prayed it would work.
Mitsuko ran towards the girl faster than the rock. When she reached her, she pushed the girl out of the way and produced the strongest energy barrier she could muster. It was a move she’s been improving for the past year. It worked against her brother’s attacks, so she’s hoping that it’ll work against the huge piece of rock.
It did. Sort of.
She was able to stop the debris without her barrier faltering, but its weight and momentum was too heavy. She couldn’t free a hand to blast the rock into pieces. Now she’s stuck holding both her hands up to maintain the barrier.
She heard the pink girl grunt from behind her, and a spray of acid splashed onto the lower part of the rock causing it to move a little. In that given moment, Mitsuko quickly released her barrier and used her quirk again to make the rock explode.
The debris was casting a shadow over her so unlike before, her arms seemed to glow brighter. The rock blew up into pieces, but her body continued to glow a little as it absorbed sunlight to compensate for the energy she just lost.
Mitsuko turned around, panting as bits of sweat began forming on her forehead. She saw the girl trying to stand on her feet, but she couldn’t seem to put weight on her left foot.
“Can you run?” Mitsuko asked.
“No, I think I sprained my ankle from falling down earlier. Why’d you have to push me so hard anyway?!” the girl exclaimed.
“Huh!?” Mitsuko’s brows furrowed. “How is that my fault?! I just saved your ass!”
They didn’t have more time to argue, because the zero-point robot was nearing their position. As much as she hated it, Mitsuko took the girl’s arm over her shoulder and began moving. The people had thinned out, the other examinees must’ve managed to run off far from where they were.
Great. That just made their situation worse, because now the only targets the robot has was the two of them. And it’s currently aiming its enormous metal hand to swat them like little flies.
Despite trying to convince herself that UA wouldn’t allow anyone to get killed for an entrance exam, Mitsuko’s wracking nerves still got the best of her.
With gritted teeth, she let go of the girl’s arms, “Take cover!” she yelled and turned around to face the giant villain. She raised her arms, still glowing from the absorption, and waited for the perfect time to blast. But before that perfect time came, she felt a sudden smack behind her head.
Anger and confusion took over her as she tried to process what just happened. Mitsuko looked around with furrowed brows and saw a guy walking past her.
The annoying blonde kid from earlier stood in front of her and threw an energy blast towards the hands of the robot. Just like their first encounter, his blast looked so much like her quirk. The villain stopped, and the boy snickered before looking back at her. “I never planned to go after the gimmick, but I thought you needed saving,” he said in an arrogant voice which made Mitsuko’s mind ring in irritation.
“YOU FUCKING COPYCAT!” she began stomping towards him.
“Oh, you finally figured it out? You’re welcome, although that’s not a very nice nickna—“
“ARE YOU STUPID?! THAT ATTACK WAS SO WEAK IT WON’T EVEN MAKE A SCRATCH!”
There was a loud metallic creaking sound. Mitsuko looked up, the smokes are gone so she could clearly see how right she was. The robot is still standing, not even a dent could be seen in its huge hands that is now coming down to them faster than before.
She muttered a curse before running to the right side, leaving the other two frozen in their place. When she reached the right spot, she raised her arms once again and acted as fast as she could.
She willed her quirk out, this time much stronger and concentrated than before, making her entire arms glow instead of just her forearms. The light traveled through her hands and palms before shooting out, her legs almost giving up from the shot's recoil. It hit the robot’s elbow, just as she planned. Her attack was powerful enough to pierce through its armor and cut its forearm off, stopping it from hitting the other kids.
Panting, Mitsuko then just realized that she lost track of both the time and her points. She was about to run to gather more points when Present Mic’s voice echoed once again.
“TIME’S UP!”
“Dammit!”

villain!deku rambles.. eeerrmmm
i rlly want to start a comic about villain!deku, but im a little hesitant because i feel like it would be WAY too big of an undertaking for me..
but if ur at all interested, my ideas are below the cut. ^_^
My concept would start with the sludge villain incident. Other heroes get to saving bakugou before both midoriya or all might. This, in turn, means that he never gets OFA.. and never joins the hero course (yadada im sure this has all been written before). However I DO think that he would still join UA. Thats really my main motivation behind making a comic like this. In a lot of villain!deku stuff I see, he tends to abandon hero work altogether.. which i just dont think he'd do!! midoriya is VERY determined when he has his mind set on something, so I feel like he'd find some way to go to UA one way or another.
So, what would make him a villain then?? Well, it would definitely be a gradual build-up overtime. Assuming he takes the support-course route (which ig would make this a mashup of two aus, LOL), I think it would start with him helping vigilantes. Low-level illegal heroes convince him that by making support items, midoriya can advance in his field. He keeps doing these sorts of favors, knowing its unethical, out of a desperation to feel useful and help the 'heroes.'
I also think as a sort of parallel to bakugo, he'd start hanging around bad classmates like bakugo did during middle school. Being in a support course as opposed to a hero course means a very different demographic of students. We see a lot of instances IRL of students going into engineering good intentions, only to throw away morals for higher paying jobs (i'm sure yall have seen those Lockheed Martin tiktoks, need I say more 💀). We know characters like mei hatsume are very honest and dedicated to their craft, but what are the lower-level students like? What about the other classes? We don't really see much of that, so I think it'd be fun to explore the morally gray students of UA.
I think his final breaking point would be when he gets in kahoots with Giran. I don't think giran would immediately clock midoriya as a potential recruit, but instead would change his mind later: seeking out midoriya after Shigaraki shows interest in bakugo. (sure, they aren't in the same class anymore, but both of them being in UA works as a convenient connection).
After midoriya gets with shigiraki, I believe he'd certainly get a quirk (whether or not midoriya actually wants it, Im sure theyd give him one anyways. more power to their organization, and more leverage over midoriya). Soon after, the LoV would get into an altercation with class 1-A, which would probably get him expelled. Although, in-turn, fuel a stronger disproval towards hero society (and also compel izuku to get better at using his quirk, knowing that he has a lot of catching up to do).
And duh as the cherry on top, there'd be bkdk angst.. bakugo only realizing that midoriya got into UA after seeing his association with the league. The weird guilty feeling bakugou would get knowing that a kid he bullied ended up becoming a villain, but also pure anger at knowing that he even got into UA in the first place. And also, the inevitable midoriya/bakugo fight that would happen when the league and class 1-A have more encounters.
I haven't exactly decided on how to end it, but I feel like it would end with either a redemption or something similar to the whole togachako situation. More likely a redemption because, lets be for real here, midoriya is so kind-spirited that even as a villain: he'd probably fold when faced with a genuine bakugo apology or heart-to-heart All Might encounter LOL.
anyways im deffff yapping here, I did NOT intend for this post to be so fucking long HELP. I just really wanted to get my stupid ideas written down. Like i said earlier, this has prob been done before if we're being quite honest.. but I still I think making a comic like this would be sooo fun. But godd i am NOT a good writer so I worry that I would start and then never finish. aaaaah 😭😭
I'll just have to see if my motivation sticks around these next few weeks. If so, I'll probably start drafting this out!! If I do lose interest, well then.. this'll be the last you hear of my villain!deku rambles LMAO. I rlly hope I don't lose interest because this would be the first time ive written since like, early high school, and I really want to get back into writing again. Even in comic form, any kind of writing would be great practice for me. Dx

If the ask game is still open:
AU where Izuku really was tricking Bakugo for ten years.
1 - You would think it was in retaliation for the creek incident but it's actually because Katsuki burned Izuku's All Might card so Izuku had the very reasonable reaction of deciding to fuck with him for the next ten years. Because in this house, we love and respect Petty Izuku.
2 - Not only did he convince everyone in Aldera to pretend to bully him, including the teachers, but he also make tests every three weeks so Katsuki would have the possibility not to act like an ass, and the whole thing would have been revealed as a secret test of character. Even the Sludge villain thing was a test designed by Izuku.
3 - I cannot stress enough that the whole Aldera experience was fun for Izuku. There was a secret group chat in which Bakugou wasn't invited. Izuku and his classmates went to karaokes and parties after school. The whole ruse almost fell apart because of a sport festival where Izuku's classmates forgot to be mean to him. And it started with "Hey, do you want to mess with Kacchan?" and EVERYONE answered "Yes, he is kind of an asshole, we would love nothing more than to mess with him, just send us pictures when he realizes his whole life has been a lie."
4 - Izuku springs that on him during the first hero lesson, with the consequences you know from reading One Lie For A Good Cause. The whole video is sent to everyone in Aldera, and half of Mustafu because so many people were on it, you wouldn't believe it.
5 - However, once Katsuki is out of his rage coma, he points out that it's highly suspicious that Izuku got All Might's exact quirk, so late, and that he breaks his bones like he just got it. Slowly, he discovers the OFA secret, gets in the meetings, and so on.
+ 1 - During the meeting where All Might talks about Nana and Bakugou laughs at Deku for having a bunch of sub par quirk, Izuku's phone rings because of an alert. On the screen, you can read "It's been exactly ten years." Izuku turns towards Katsuki and say "Oh, Kacchan, did you really believe I was quirkless this whole time?" and reveals that the whole OFA thing is bullshit. He does have a quirk; Transfer. He was given All Might's quirk because he was looking for a successor.
+ 2 - Katsuki never gets a clear answer as if Kamino was also one of Izuku's "tests".
Goji is referencing this FIC, just so you know.
#Katsuki (crying): Is breaking my sanity a source of entertainment for you?#Izuku: Yep. You should have left my All Might card alone.#5 headcanons game#closed ask game#one lie for a good cause fic

AU where Bakugou's a villain, and he would really appreciate if Izuku would stop giving him very enthusiastic criticism every single time they encounter each other.
Bakugo goes into villainy after the sludge villain incident, mostly on a quest to hunt down the guy and murder him. He realises that villains get the best fights and is almost purely in it to beat the shit out of people who are good at fighting, ends up joining the league so he can destroy deku some hero students.
Anyway, hes 100% on the team to steal the quirk enhancing device at I-Island (his parents had an invite, so he managed to nick his fathers and go in his place. terrible security). He's convinced Wolfram is a moron and that this is going to go terribly, but eh. Not his problem. He's here to fight and then fuck off.
Hes in a full mask but Izuku recognises him the second he goes for a right hook and ends up spending like 8 full minutes enthusiastically going 'ah, you still lead with a right hook - its bad to be predictable kacchan!' and 'ooo, your quirk is even stronger!! so impressive!'. This goes on until Melissa reminds him they're on a time limit and Izuku sheepishly stops talking and throws Bakugo out a window.
Hes furious. Also really wants to finish that fight, but he also hates wolfram and thinks the guy should fail miserably on principle, and their is nothing more pathetic than loosing to Deku. (He totally didn't lose. It was just too annoying to go continue the fight. Yeah. Totally.)

Some Deku drawings and other bnha (deku, baku, shiggy, sludge) doodles :)
doodles are from my fic notes couldn’t help but add some so I took them all to put together
(and that does mean that I have some bnha fics in the works. they’re some ideas from back in 2020ish when I first started my tumblr actually :)) trying to bring them back in written form) it’s not really obvious but 2nd deku drawing is meant to be for a villain au (that you can find on this account if you really want to) but it’s being revamped a bit to fit into the timeline and stuff better (kinda miss some of the original ideas that i had to get rid of </3 but it just makes a bit more sense now)

5 headcanons for an AU where All might deflates in front of the crowd after defeating the sludge villain?
OOOOOOH now that's fun
1- it's quiet, for a moment, as everyone stares and tries to process what they just saw. Izuku, who saw the truth already, still is stunned for a second. And then he realizes everyone else sees too, and his feet move before he can think more about it.
2- Izuku needs everyone to stop looking at All Might as the crowd begins to murmur, shaking itself. Izuku knows that Kacchan is very good at being loud and the center of attention. So, 2+2=4, he gives Bakugou a little push into a hero and a civilian and let's that work out.
3- As the explosion begins, Izuku grabs All Might's hand and runs, down between two buildings that still smell like smoke and sewage. Mt Lady grows for crowd control, and sees where they go- but the look in their eyes makes her turn back to the crowd and block a few civilians from following. She pretends everything is normal, and she's an actress. If that really was All Might- and it had to be, she felt that power- he'll be grateful when she contacts his agency later to demand what happened. If it isn't, then she can point out that letting non-heroes follow a villainous impersonator of that power level would have been disastrous.
4- they go a few buildings further when All Might's feet drag and Izuku's burst of motion slows. He pants, and stops at the street. "Go one way, All Might, sir, I'll tell them you went the other way." He can still hear Kacchan shouting above the other voices, and Mt Lady arguing back, but they don't have a lot of time. "Yeah, no." Toshinori says, and drags Izuku instead into a store, heading for the clearance section and hats.
5- the good news is, most people had put their phones down at this point and weren't filming. The TV cameras had turned away to show the people cheering and the blond victim fine. The bad news is that some people still were filming, and the TV crew went back, catching sight of All Might's skinny back fleeing the scene as the crowd erupted. As Toshinori pays for a change of clothes for both him and Izuku, his phone starts to ring. He mutes it as they change and put on the hats. Izuku asks where they are running too, but Toshinori just goes two buildings down to a ramen shop and sits at a table. He points out that no is going to look for All Might at a restaurant a block from the crime scene, much less expect him to be casually eating there in an Endeavor hoodie and a ball cap. He thinks the bright orange FG jacket izuku is now wearing to hide his school uniform clashes horribly with the lilac beanie, but it works to make the few curls escaping to look less green. As they eat, Toshinori tells Izuku about OfA, and makes his offer. Izuku bursts into tears because he just ruined All Might's secret, revealed it to everyone, he doesn't deserve his quirk, and now that it's in the open All Might can pick someone else, the best choice. Toshinori disagrees, because all Izuku did was inspire him to save that other boy, which was more important. Izuku agrees to be his successor, numbers are exchanged, and after eating Toshinori walks him home just in case- but it seems Izuku wasn't identified, probably because Bakugou could only scream "Deku" when shoved, so Izuku gets a quiet night of pure stress to himself while Toshinori heads to ask Tsukauchi for a ride to Might Tower for a very loud and very long night of pure stress and demanding answers.
#that said. bakugou IS going to be Right Outside when Izuku leaves the next morning to demand answers.#and Izuku will apologize and say he just panicked because All Might needed help and then left when there wasn't a crowd to mob him#but like. bakugou knows Izuku isn't telling the truth. and Izuku knows he can't say ANYTHING or he'll end up saying EVERYTHING and all#anyone can talk about as school is All Might (at least they don't remember Bakugou dying in slime ten seconds prior ig)#and Bakugou can't corner Izuku for answers in school in public and suspects he can't force them out with explosions but maybe threats will#work. so izuku skips at the very end of the day so he can't be cornered twenty minutes later and so he can get a head start running to meet#Toshinori who. you know. has maybe slept two hours at the most since they last met#well. good luck to everyone there!#pocket talks to people#anon#ask game#great ask keep them coming

So, I kind of have mixed feelings about Villain!Izuku AUs.
On paper, yeah it would make narrative sense. The world treated him unfairly, the only friend he had is his main tormentor, his own hero told him his dreams are impossible, and was made to look incompetent in front of people after the Sludge Villain incident. If the world has cheated him and treated him poorly, why should he play by their rules?
The building blocks are there, but most of the time the execution is terrible.
The AUs people end up making are trying too hard to be edgy and bkdk, I even saw some comics of Bakugou acting shocked and surprised that Izuku became a villain.
Like bitch, you helped him on his villainous path, why're you surprised by this?
Yup, most Villain Deku AUs are very disappointing.
I think the biggest mistake they make is assuming that Bakugou would recognize his past behavior and feel guilty even before finding out Izuku was a villain.
I need to make this abundantly clear, Bakugou only "changed" once he got what he wanted in learning the secret of OFA. He wouldn't have felt guilty over how he treated Izuku because he never would have had a reason to. Even if you argue that he'd feel guilty about suicide baiting him (I have my doubts about this, but now isn't the time), that's one incident. Bakugou to this day justifies his behavior by saying it was because he was looking out for Izuku.
These are usually attempts to make the reader feel sympathy for Bakugou and not for Izuku who was the victim. Ever noticed that a good amount of Villain Deku fics are from Bakugou's POV?
For once I'd like to see a Villain Deku AU where Bakugou hasn't changed. That he gets exactly what's coming to him and everyone who's enabled his behavior gets a reality check.
(If anyone knows a fic like this pls drop the link)

OK so idk if I posted it here before, but I had an idea for an mha animatic for Work This Body by WALK THE MOON for Izuku Midoriya (BC idk, that song just screams "Deku" to me-)
Anyways I'm gonna post it here now cuz I hope to draw the frames soon (I have no idea how to animate whatsoever- does that mean I'm gonna give up tho? No. I'll animate it on freaking flipnote on my old DSi if I have to, I will make this animatic so help me-)
So yeah, scroll past if you don't rlly care/aren't interested, but if you are I'm gonna put my ideas for the frame-by-frame (sort of) under the cut:
OK SO! *claps hands* these blorbo thoughts have been marinating in my brain for so long, bro (/gn), you have no idea...
OK so beginning context:
In my au, Uraraka is pan, Izuku is bi, the "Toshi" mentioned in the animatic notes is one of their future kids who eventually inherits OFA. With the context out of the way, IDEA FOR THE ANIMATIC!!!
Piano at the beginning: a couple scenes of the beginning of MHA just as, like a refresher (like maybe a short flash of baby Deku and a look at the sludge monster incident briefly) and title screen
"It was a strange place and a tender age": Izuku standing in front of All Might after the sludge monster incident, All Might offers to help make Izuku a hero.
"I was just a babe in school": shows Izuku happy at All Might's offer and crying, he's still in his middle school uniform.
"Saw them roll their eyes at me": shows Bakugo walking by, glaring in disgust at Deku as he passes.

"And I will work this body": Izuku during the entrance exam.
"I will burn this flame": Izuku talking to Shoto at the sports festival.
"Oh in the dead of night and in the pouring rain": Izuku training outside at night in the rain, practicing his kicks.
"Yeah I'm a workaholic": Deku doing Sit ups.
"And I swear I swear": Deku punching and kicking the punching bag.
"Yeah, one day I will beat you fair and square": Deku pausing, sweating, to look at a picture of Bakugo for motivation.
"Show me what you got!": Deku training with All Might.
"Work this body on the floor": Izuku during one of the training exercises, swinging through the air on Black Whip.
"Who do you think you are?": Bakugo watching the same training exercise knowing the form is the same as when he uses his Howitzer.
"C'mon, meet me on the court!": Izuku and Bakugo fighting at night.
"Que ferais-tu? Putain, je ne sais pas!": Izuku and Bakugo working together to save Katsuma and Mahoro from Nine.
"It ain't a matter of 'if', honey": Bakugo being stabbed through the stomach by Shigaraki with that weird tentacle thing.
"It's just a matter of when": a picture of a goodbye note on Deku's hospital bed saying he's running away and he can't risk everyone else getting hurt since the LOV is only after One for All.
"On some Sunday": runaway Vigilante Izuku arc dirty, dusty-ass lookin costume.

If you're still doing the ask game: an au where Bakugou got actual consequences/counseling as a kid (even if it was probably rooted in an ableistic "Don't hurt the poor little quirkless kid" attitude)
There’s a certain kind of niceness than can be particularly cruel
All Might just so happens to make some comments about the mistreatment of quirkless people around the time Izuku and Katsuki are born, so by the time they hit kindergarten, it’s been a part of the national conversation for a while. Unfortunately, the state of that conversation is a compulsion to address the issue first and understand it second.
The day Izuku’s medical records are updated, the teacher brings him up to the head of the class. They make the five year old announce his condition to all the others, after which the teacher explains further. Izuku is going to have a harder time doing things than everyone else, so it’s important that everyone looks after him. Since Katsuki has the strongest quirk and wants to be a hero, he’s the best candidate for the buddy system.
Izuku can’t do anything at school without Katsuki. From walking down the hall to the bathroom, to getting up from his seat to grab art supplies. Katsuki revels in the whole thing. The teachers call him a great hero in the making, and all he has to do is boss stupid Deku around. Eventually, he tries to enforce the buddy system outside of school too. Of course he’s also a little shit about it, calling Izuku weak and pathetic whenever he can.
Somewhere down the line, he starts taking it all to heart. The world isn’t built for quirkless people, but Izuku is one of the lucky ones. He has Katsuki to look after him. Who else would be willing to take time out of their own lives to make sure the quirkless kid keeps up? He takes credit for everything Izuku does (he’s getting good grades thanks to his tutoring aka studying in the same room after school). Some days, Izuku won’t even bother speaking since Katsuki so often shouts over him what he ‘really’ means. Otherwise, people would make fun of him for saying something dumb. Like how much he wants to be a hero.
The sludge villain attacks on a day Izuku tried to run away from Katsuki. Not to go anywhere, just to be alone for a bit. Katsuki catches up as All Might tries to wake up an unconscious Izuku, so he explains everything. This is what the quirkless kid gets thinking he’s stronger than he is so he tried to walk home alone. How he needs to grow some brain cells before Katsuki leaves for UA. He can’t be his body guard forever. Izuku, now awake, tries to say something to All Might but Katsuki tells him to can it. To which All Might steps around him and asks if the young man would like to speak for himself. Izuku is too embarrassed to do much but sit there and cry. So All Might kneels down on his level, blocking him from Katsuki, until he works up the courage to whisper something. Katsuki doesn’t hear it, but before he can react, All Might leaps out of sight, taking Izuku with him.
