"Slowpoke are commonly found at the water's edge. Its tail drips a sweet, sappy substance that is attractive to many species of fish. Kantonian slowpoke uses the tail as a fishing lure. The tail often breaks off, but it will grow back. Researchers have debated if Slowpoke is either awake or asleep while it stands around doing nothing."

Jack has a Tyrogue to train with and it will most likely evolve into a Hitmonlee. Idk if he'll pick up another second year and one more after graduation.

Ruggie had the Mandibuzz as a Vullaby his first year and he picked up the Slowpoke as soon as he could. He always collects its tail when it falls off and he even forked over the money for an everstone to keep it from evolving.

Leona got a Hippowdon solely so he could take naps on its back(it's like 6ft tall, def big enough). The Altaria likes sleeping under his head like a pillow. The Farfetch'd was kinda a joke he picked up at some point and he jokes that he's gonna eat it but he never does and it loyally chases off anyone who wants to bug him.

first years get 1 first-stage Pokémon, second and higher get 2 Pokémon of first or higher stage. Dorm leaders get 3 Pokémon. Teachers/staff (if I decide to do them) get 4 Pokemon.

i just realised something about the galarian slowpoke line.

they consume galarcia seeds, which in most languages some kind of fusion of galar and nutmeg. in high doses nutmeg can cause stimulant and anticholinergic symptoms. the only reason galar’s slowpoke are like that is they’re on natural drugs and are VERY high all the time
