Making a new post because my family and I are in dire need of help. My name is Link, I'm a 22 y/o artist and since November 2021, my family and I have been homeless and living in a motel. Since neither of us had our documents or IDs when we first got here, it was up to me to open commissions to support us. Although my father has his id now, getting a job out in the mountains where we don't have transportation or a way for them to contact us is very difficult. Until that changes, we're still dependant on my commissions to help us through paying for rent and soon food, as this is our last month of food stamps due to the policies here.

This week and especially this month has been super tough on us since work has gone down for me tremendously. There's been weeks were we can't pay and owe upwards of 100$+ every other day since it adds up so quickly. There are days where if we didn't have food stamps, we wouldn't have any food at all and since it's ending soon, I'm hoping this will help me find some more work to care of my family with. Right now our situation is urgent. We need 250$ to cover for tomorrow and we don't have anything as of yet. If we can't have everything paid for by tomorrow, we will be kicked out and since families on both sides have cut us off both communication and money wise, it doesn't look good if that happens.

So, all my slots are open for anyone who's interested in helping us out! I'm a primarily DnD/fantasy themed artist. I mainly draw Dragon Age centered art but I've also done work of Baldurs Gate 3 tavs and other DnD related stuff as well! I can also work outside of fantasy, I've done all things from simple portrait commissions to furries to even dragons, I'm flexible with most things. The only thing I won't do is sexual nudity since I'm not particularly educated enough to draw that sorta stuff yet. the general expectation will be a 5k-10k word fic set at the price of 30 dollars. i would ask for 15 upfront and the other 15 once i have completed and sent the fic. i can send it through google docs, some sort of word document, or email. whatever your preference is fine.

But Tails has mentioned how he was in Eggmans position in the first place was he was sold. But is keeping alot secrate. What els dose Alvis know. What els, he has the memories of the 4 who's DNA was used to chnage Als DNA and give powers?

Said he had identity problem and even others saying for example "Sonic" Alvis would react like you said his name, and was mentioned he hallucinates seeing one of the 4 or all 4 at the same time. 🎃 October status update

Alright! finished organizing all the commissions and on informing everyone of what place they got!

here's the commission progress tracker, now with this new batch included , the previous batch can still be seen also!

As a bit of a remainder, I put at the top the commissions with less characters involved and at the bottom the ones with more ( and if they have background), this way I start with relatively more simple requests and I work on the more complex ones as I progress.

The new batch is now is for the last 3 months, because even if finishing it on 2 months would be the ideal, there's still a possibility I take a little longer, but also because it's still quite a big batch lol

Originally I really wanted to finish these in one month and I wasn't going to open so many slots for the sketch page so I had November and December free. But I changed my mind for a couple of reasons, 😅 still I would like to have at least December very free, so I'll do my best to finish most of these before December is here ╰(￣ω￣ｏ)

🎃 August /September commissions

- As for the batch I got on August, I'm almost finished! there's one illustration commission to finish and technically 3 and a half sketch pages to finish, which I hope I can mostly complete this week so the next one I can start with the new batch!

I haven't decided yet when I'll be opening commissions again next year, I want to be able to use my portfolio next year so I'll have to think about it and plan things up for sure! ^^ though I have some ideas for maybe new commission types, but we'll see!

hi it’s november 27th and I’m back here again. mindmelding between friends @aranarumei Hi kiri. is something that can be so personal. I’ll go in extra deep on still-unnamed tashiro post current events’ Side note this is why you don’t leave asks out to dry for four calendar months. close side note. extra deep on today you are a girl paragraph when we get there. I love you guys so much by the way did you know this.

speaking to you from the future: I started back on this thing at work, maybe an hour before we closed. that would make this about three hours now.

I’m putting this under a cut.

tashiro’s phone pings with a message from shirahama that reads, If you do anything to screw up your hair I’m shaving it all off your head

ping. And making you eat it

ping. Keep one foot on the ground at all times if you do anything insane I’m really gonna do it

first thing is that shirahama’s here again. everyone say hi shirahama :) he’s a few hours from getting the anxious shakes with no known cause (he was responsible for tashiro’s hair for the girlification competition). shirahama’s here again because he does an excellent job at carrying tashiro through the days and nights, and because the advice to keep one foot on the ground at all times if you do anything insane I’m really gonna do it. is topical always but especially now. he’s also here again because you have to identify a chance at comedic timing and lunge for it hungry with both hands:

the picture he takes of his feet, hovering as he sits on the windowsill and clad in black crew socks—he left the shoes somewhere else, he figures miyano will chase him down about them later—is waiting to be sent with incomplete text suck i when he spots someone out the very corner of his vision.

set-up is happening here. black crew socks highlighted as a reference to the black sailor uniform option from tashiro girlification poll 2023 as drawn by You 🫵 sunnfish. tashiro’s shoelessness as a cog is working steadily to do its part for a theme that was accidental, clocked, and left in. tashiro almost finishes typing suck it to send shirahama before pausing the action entirely—shirahama watches the typing bubble linger. uh-oh shirahama—because of

the very corner. an unmistakable figure at the edge of the crowd, staring over the living mass of strangers, right into tashiro stood in the window, until he isn’t anymore.

funny thing about crossdressing, see, is the worldview shift. that broad back looks broader, a piece-of-work senpai haunting his memory like a grief-hallucination.

that was him though. there are only so many people tashiro could recognize from the moon and he’s one of them. how many people in the world could possibly look like that.

relative to the rest of the thing, this scene was brand new; I’d written it a few days before tashiro’s birthday, when I posted the lot of it, because Creative process keeps me in a rock tumbler mostly. this matters really only because It was that evening, july third, when it really slotted into place in my mind exactly how prev prez should exist in the context of river. incidentally Neither your asks nor this post is about it obviously but the bathhouse scene and the others related to it are also “new” in this way, for the same reason.

anyway prev prez. from the start it was my understanding as wielder of the authorial godhand that he is, you know. functionally and narratively dead. if hanzawa masato is an active haunter straddling the line between Wanting to live and Being just so so sick of Various things, prev prez is about as passive a dead guy as the average dead guy can be. except for the fact that he is, in some way, to tashiro specifically, an exceptional (adj. unusual; not typical) person. an unmistakeable figure that tashiro could recognize from the moon. unrelated to anything right this second I think somewhere along the way I mindlinked tashiro to hanako tbhk. hmm. Okay well moving on. tashiro has a real certainty on that figure having been prev prez, because prev prez lives, in a very real way, in tashiro’s mind. he’s also a massive Haha. catalyst for the most prominent #tashirogirlification here; his gravity, the masculinity of him, works in tandem with the sailor uniform makeup and done-up hair.

because tashiro is crossdressing as a girl, he feels like a girl. because tashiro is crossdressing as a girl, prev prez (who is already recalled by tashiro in a super masculine way—it’s important to me as usual that Love & Passion is told by tashiro, seen through his eyes, because it says, to me, that those fucking photos of prev prez are also as tashiro saw him. this is present elsewhere in tashiro post, ideas of memory and recollection) Okay that was a long parenthetical let me restart. because tashiro is crossdressing as a girl prev prez Already looking the way he does. looks even more that way. okay great now the crown jewel:

it’s a second of stirring in his stomach that bridges the space between shoujo manga and violent murder. his feet are back on the ground but they might as well be dangling out the window; an impulse in the shape of today you are a girl has him gripped by the shoulders, nearly chasing after a living ghost and using strangers as stepping stones to do it.

hi killing point. first point of discussion is that this scene’s cinema is one of the most vivid ones I see; hands braced on the windowsill, head out the window, feet twitching where they stand on the floor. look up and watch yourself bound over still water stepping stone by stepping stone, grace and beauty completely hallucinated where the fantasy, in reality, is exactly as clumsy and cruel as you’d expect it to be. hup! out the window onto the heads and shoulders of strangers, clammer over the shifting tides of the dense crowd—great turnout!—and emerge worse for wear, but very quick, on the other end to continue the pursuit. this fantasy is only mostly completely hallucinated, in that tashiro really nearly goes through with it. this paragraph I just wrote explains nothing.

I’ll concede: solid alliteration with s in the first half of the first sentence leads cleanly into two sets of four quarter notes; the killing point, to borrow Words, shou-jo man-ga (kiss) and vio-lent mur-der (kill). next sentence in both of its semicoloned halves continues the yet-unstated not-quite run-on capital f Feeling where tashiro’s mind is running 10 miles a minute, but the first half embodies the feeling of Having a Body, the sensation of gravity contrasted by the tantalizing appeal of swinging your feet out the window, void calling as a siren would, and the second half (the first half of it) has impulse (personified) grabbing tashiro by the shoulders (not, by any metric, narrow these days) and nevertheless speaking into him the refrain Where’s your girlish whimsy? the second half of the second half, as we went through just a second ago, has tashiro watching himself (in spirit, haha) doing the worlds least considerate parkour, and closes with another instance of solid s alliteration. I want to put on the record that the alliteration was not intentional but I think in retrospect that it is neat. hit the button and call it time!

one foot on the ground with his hands braced on the sill, he hears, “tashiro.”

sky still looks like rain. indistinct collective murmur hangs over the crowd outside like smog. a metal rod’s pang clefts clean through his forehead, up between his eyes. taiko drums. dwarfed by encroaching shadow miyano calls again, “tashiro,” from down the hall. tashiro’s shoes dangle limply from his hands.

thundering resonance. tashiro croaks, “what?”

continuing on to what I’ll call the second point of discussion: where the camera was—tashiro facing out the window—shifts to lead into I think THE most vivid cinematic scene I see. tashiro in the foreground, caught, miyano in the background, catching. tashiro’s name throughout the whole piece has this cleaving quality I think, where it cuts through where you were to bring you where you are, and here it cuts through delusion fantasy and reckless daze to remind you that tashiro is someone who is more sensible than this. which is why, following “tashiro” the word (ice cold water poured down his back), tashiro the person suddenly sees feels and hears all that he’d been unconsciously tuning out.

prev prez just has that effect on him.

the second time around miyano’s voice is just miyano’s voice, bouncing off the walls a little with the way he projects it, more than a little concerned. by separating the information extra attention is drawn to tashiro’s shoes in his hands, words dangle and limply doing exactly what they were meant to, once I realized something. tashiro’s shoelessness as a cog is working steadily to do its part for a theme that was accidental, clocked, and left in. <- You know chekhov? TFW you accidentally liken tashiro’s impulsively wanting to jump like a girl that chases her first love, shoelessly, to jumping in a way that kind of feels a little like. river…y. in a suicidal way. you see why this is the scene I see the best and most frequently.

well anyway. As for the other things this bit is doing. the atmosphere merges a little with the water. in a lot of ways that cold water reality check description of the scene works just as well to describe the Fucking River, because I can’t ever leave it alone. because it can’t ever leave me alone. miyano is here and real but shadow works as a cloth backdrop behind him, upon which he stands stark and separate from the Fucking River because, even now, Nobody’s told miyano about whatever the hell tashiro and hanzawa senpai have got going on. all he sees is his friend, needed elsewhere, shoeless, about to jump out of the goddamn river, and all he has are his goddamn shoes. tashiro, caught, embarrassed kind of, with blood roaring in his ears, could only say, “what?” bonus points for my use of cleft when grammatically speaking it would be cleave. I have the conch, and I say grammar be damned.

anyway as I finally close this out, I’ll say Speaking of river,

see the tweet in the middle. there was a point on the third of july where I thought really hard about whether I wanted tashiro’s girlification to itself exist in dream time, as a dream, because tashiro post took forever and we’d all seen harusono’s own third year culture festival by then. ultimately I decided otherwise, but I really thought about it really hard. in any case I’m glad I didn’t do that because as I found out that friday following tashiro’s birthday. as we ALL found out that friday following tashiro’s birthday. harusono shou was on exactly the same page as me as far as One Thing in particula

As the cooler weather approaches, it’s time to bring my big website gallery overhaul to a close with the final (for now) section- the Passion Projects Section! Here I’ve documented 3 of my bigger projects (including my most recent doll of Mr. Dream).

Now for the big one- Commission Updates!

As longtime BB fans know, I’ve been opening commissions on a bi-yearly basis, to give myself the summer to finish my own projects (or even -gasp- have other hobbies!) This year, the summer has been focused on beamiesbuddies.com, as well as working on my first new line of original dolls (which I PROMISE I will start sharing soon!)

The summer was also full of activity lifewise for me, most good & some not so much. As such, I’m a little behind where I wanted to be at this time, & more than a little burnt out. I wanted to open up commissions this month for the upcoming holiday season, but being realistic, I don’t think I would be able to deliver my best work with so much still going on/needing finishing. (One of the things needing doing is the shop on this website, after all!)

Therefore: I will be opening commissions as of January 2025, for the winter season. Big apologies to those who wanted to commission me for Xmas gifts & such, but this will allow me to get a good head start on my ready-made dolls & hopefully have them up by late fall in time for holiday gift purchasing time. So you may not get a personalized character, but you could have another very cool original themed doll ;)

November 1st I will be opening up slots for the January commissions, which I will announce at that time. So, if you wanted to grab a gift for a friend, maybe you can give them the gift of a Beamie’s Buddies Custom Commission Slot? 👀

I can’t wait to share my upcoming dolls with you as I think they are looking super cute & I have so many ideas for future ones. In all my years I have never really gotten to let my imagination go & make my own characters, I feel like I’m unlocking new potential as a doll artist.

You know what? Fuck it. It's not worth it. Don't go to Sintra. Everything is crowded. The town is so crowded they had to limit traffic. The Pena Palace is just one big anthill. Whatever your clever trick to skip lines or enjoy the "quiet hours", I promise you will not work. "It's raining tomorrow so I bet there will be less people!" There won't. In fact, not only will it be just as crowded, you now have to stand in line AT LEAST for 45 minutes under the pouring rain with absolutely no shelter. And don't even bother with an umbrella. Don't even bother with checking the weather app before you get there. The Pena Palace has its own climate. Is it drizzling in Sintra with a bit of wind? It's a fucking typhoon up there. You open that umbrella, you're Mary Poppin your ass down the cliff, and if not you, then your umbrella will just quit its sorry life and lift off to glide across the skies amid the tree tops, something I have literally seen every single time I've been there.

"I'll buy the tickets online with a time slot, that'll be easier!" The 11AM time slot today extended for more than a 100 meters at 11.45. My time slot was 10AM and I got in at 10.50.

"I'll go on monday, less people will go on monday!" I promise you literally every tourist in Lisbon who is alive thought the same. Monday is, in fact, extra crowded.

"Sunday, then!" Accept that there are no quiet days in Sintra. Your Tricks To Escape Tourists are actually things every single tourist has thought of. Sintra takes no breaks. You chose the Instagrammer Palace, you're going to waste 2h just standing around, waiting, and then visit the Palace in about 40-45 minutes because the staff there refuse to let anyone stop and breathe or, god forbid, read a fucking plaque or take a picture and treat that shit like goddamn Shawshank with the KEEP WALKING yelling.

"I'll go to THAT other palace then" while there are palaces that are not even a fraction of the chaos that is Pena, I promise you you're not thinking of them. Yes Regaleira is just as chaotic, if not more, you just don't feel it is because it's a fucking massive garden, and you get there and see all these tracks and paths and think "ah! I made the right decision" and then you get to the initiation well and you're back to cursing god

"I will go during low season there's less people then!" I've been hearing these words all month long, only without the exciting ingenuity of someone who truly believes they've cracked the code. Last year I heard the same in October and November. Baby boy. Baby girl. There's no low season. Everything is hell right now. As I keep saying: whatever your clever trick, literally everyone else has thought about it

"I bet just the town is okay" Sintra is a town whose urban layout looks like what happens if a kid comes up with the concept of a city in a shoebox. I don't think most people understand how tiny it is but I think confusion stems from the fact that Sintra is advertised as having beautiful places to visit like Colares and Guincho, which is true, but that's the district. The town, where all the palaces are, is small. The streets are narrow. Think oldest part of Alfama narrow, only in Sintra there's like 4 of them and that's the whole thing. You can literally visit it in one hour. I'm not dishing out on it, it's one of my favourite places and the fact that it's so small adds to the charm for me. But now drop thousands of tourists in there and you're back to that kid designing a city inside a shoebox but now he's actually dropping bugs in it.

And sure, Piriquita isn't that crowded, and you go on the takeway line and there's only two people ahead of you and you think, see this isn't so bad! And then the two people ahead of you are actually a single group of 19 spanish middle aged women who are now, ONLY NOW, deciding what pastries they want, and since they're here, might as well ask what every single one of them are, and oh you're not in a hurry are you? We're gonna be here a while haha. And you just wanted one silly little travesseiro

Just skip Sintra. It's a fucking nightmare. I'm wet, I'm frustrated, I've been on my feet for 40 minutes and I've ran out of things to explain about the fucking Palace because otherwise i simply will have nothing to say when we're actually inside.

That is invaluable information, and a level of attention to detail of which I can only dream tbh. So, in that spirit, I went back and replayed the whole of June and half of July, to get a complete calendar of Akechi interactions. Here's what I learned:

Apart from Saturday, there doesn't seem to be any real "you can find him on these days" schedule. Between June 10th (confidant 1) and July 12th (the date I got confidant 5 on my live playthrough), there are 9 days when you can find Akechi in Kichijoji, and those days are as follows:

all three possible Saturdays;

3 out of 4 possible Wednesdays. The other, 6/15, is rained off—though he doesn't show up even if you're doing confidant 2 rather than 3, and of course he shows up for confidant 2 on 6/13 in the rain;

once each on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday;

never on Friday or Sunday.

The week of 6/13 only has one day when you can find him—the Monday, when you can get confidant 2 and then he vanishes for the rest of the week. If you (say) don't get confidant 2 on 6/13, he still won't show up on 6/15 (his regular Wednesday slot) to offer it again;

The weeks of 6/27 and 7/4 each have two opportunities to meet him;

The week of 6/20, on the other hand, has three opportunities, and he will text you twice;

Once you're time-locked on the confidant, he will no longer appear in Kichijoji, and he will not text you to hang out;

If he's not time-locked, he always texts on Saturdays, so it looks like you're his big night out. Heavens, Akechi, the wild life you do lead.

so does he vanish for months in the summer?

Over in this post, I talked about how Akechi vanishes for most of September and October, in the runup to Joker's murder. There just appear to be no plot notes that bring the two of you together.

If you do confidant 5 on 7/2, and confidant 6 when it unlocks on 9/3, that looks like another two-month gap—but actually, there are various choreographed events that break it up:

train station meetings on 7/11, 7/20 and 9/2;

the lunch with Yoshizawa on 7/11;

the Medjed meeting with the PTs on 7/18;

the aquarium date on 7/29;

there is then a month's gap before the Leblanc trauma dump on 8/28—interesting, since this mostly overlaps with Futaba's Palace. Which Akechi doesn't know about, so it looks like they've vanished as planned.

So they have a lot going on in July even apart from the confidant. But in August, in the summer, they're out of each other's hair, until he comes back for 8/28 and confidant 6. What's going on? Is this actually a longer disconnect of three months after confidant 5, broken up by setting up the Okumura plot? Does he think Joker gave up as he predicted, when faced with a difficult opponent like Medjed? (disappointing) Is it something else entirely? Or does he just have a busy August?

@pugs-cats-bb-8 mentions in their tags that September and October are Akechi's worst months for availability, which corresponds with his vanishing from the plot for those two months as shit falls apart. If August, by contrast, really is the best time to find him, it suggests he's not intentionally avoiding you then so much as the plot is just not throwing you together.

It looks like, in theory, confidant stages 2-5 are meant to be done by the end of July, when the game schedules a lot of other social stuff for you.

Days when the game will always stop you doing anything in the evening (and so you could never meet anyone) are struck out.

Days in red are days he didn't appear in this replay (where I nailed all the dates), but did appear in my real, current playthrough (where I'm about a week behind). Note that 7/9 itself is one of these days—if you get confidant 5 on 7/2, he will not then face you on 7/9 after his tantrum.

Here's a summary list of events:

6/10 Friday—the TV studio. Confidant 1.

6/13 Monday—available in Kichijoji. Confidant 2.

6/22 Wednesday—he texts you in the evening. Confidant 3.

6/23 Thursday—available in Kichijoji. (no rank up)

6/25 Saturday—he texts you in the evening. Confidant 4.

6/29 Wednesday—available in Kichijoji. (no rank up)

7/2 Saturday—he texts you in the evening. Confidant 5.

7/6 Wednesday—available in Kichijoji. (but not if rank 5)

7/9 Saturday—he texts you in the evening. (but not if rank 5)

also, we dreamed of him

Also, playing back to check certain days I missed to voluntary Metaverse activity, I found out you can go to bed early and have a dream that raises your stats or your confidants! So that's worth knowing. If you got this far down, here are some entertaining dreams.

"I dreamed that I was being chased by a gigantic Akechi... I'm glad that was just a dream."

"I dreamed that Akechi and I went to the beach, but the waves washed away my swimming trunks... I'm glad that was just a dream."

"I had a dream where I was in a quiet café, asking Akechi for advice... I feel a little closer to Akechi."

I think you may have a better chance of getting "good dreams" if you are ranked higher with the confidant.
