when loki timeslipped from where O.B. was to where mobius was, i didn't think anything of it at first. when i got to the end of the episode, when i learned timeslipping was about the who, holy shit.

loki timeslipped to mobius when he was happy and excited that he and O.B. had figured out how to get everyone back together. this means that, in that moment, he wanted to share the celebration with mobius so badly that he timeslipped to where mobius was.

this means he wanted to be with mobius so badly in that time of celebration that he timeslipped to him.

if thats not love i dont know what is.

Obviously devastated, he needed a way to deflect these feelings and so in a sort of self destructive way he makes a move on Peter, who has been shoving his feelings down for Wade for at this point a year or more, he’s pissed!

He knows what Wade and Vanessa had was special he didn’t want to jeopardize that for them, but now that she’s not in the picture he’s just what warm body!?

Wade knowing he fucked up once again he now has to grapple with losing not only the woman he loved but the friendship he had with Peter.

I turned it around so the island is populated by marooned humans who, after a dark and stormy night, find this Giant on the beach. They can’t wake him from his peaceful slumber. Yet they’re compelled to rouse him because they think he is friendly, has answers, a way out... They learn that the Giant is a metaphor for something they’ve forgotten about: Love and connection to God.

Musically I was inspired by David Bowie, early Genesis, and Split Enz/Neil Finn (+ imagining Dennis Wilson on drums). My fiance Uma Robin Mackey says it’s one of her favorites!
