Hollow Knight Soundtrack by Christopher Larkin. I absolutely adore this game and soundtrack, the background music and the boss tracks slap!

Skyrim Soundtrack by Jeremy Soule. Skyrim has such pretty music, and I love using it for writing.

Minecraft Soundtrack by C418, Lena Raine, Aaron Cherof. Soft and soothing music, perfect as background noise!

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Soundtrack by Borislav Slavov. In the same vein as the Hollow Knight Soundtrack in that the area and character themes both slap!

Subnautica Soundtrack by Simon Chylinki / Subnautica: Below Zero Soundtrack by Ben Prunty. The music in both games has a very other-worldly, underwater, aquatic feel, which is thematically appropriate for the game and for creativity purposes!

At this point, gender nonconformity is about what the person says their experience is.

If a woman with a beard or a man with lipstick and a mustache says they're gender nonconforming, then they are! If a woman with short hair or a man with long hair says they aren't, they aren't! And that's not even getting into the awesome nonbinary, abinary, genderqueer, intersex, and general genderfuckery that may both be and not be conforming.

So much of what is even considered gender conforming or gender nonconforming is based on a world of exclusion. When we start defining one's conformity with whether they fit into white cishetero perisex standards or not, we play into the idea that there's only a very narrow window of what is considered worthy of time and thought.

I LOVE Cadence of Hyrule. Probably my favorite Zelda in terms of worldbuilding fun; the fact that game overs are an in-world acknowledged thing, the Fates, the Triforce of Power, everything to do with Gerudo Desert- I could go on and on.

Funnily enough, the whole reason I got CotND actually was because I was in a Cadence mood and my Switch was dead.

I have a little excerpt of the one-shot I'm working on. There's a chance this all might change by the time I post it though. lol This one-shot is the whole reason why I wrote that Thalmor & Fascism analysis to begin with!

Blinded by Their Thirst for Legacy (Or 14 Ways of Looking at a Blackcoat)

I was three when gates to Oblivion began to tear Nirn asunder and plague the lands with daedra. By the grace of the Gods, I remember little of that time, but know plenty from second-hand accounts from family, and later mentors and colleagues. I need not mention the horrors the daedra afflicted on our people, for I wish to consider instead the horrors our own people brought upon us following the daedra years, decades, later.  It was just after those gates were vanquished and the Oblivion Crisis ended that the Thalmor had begun to claim themselves as our saviors.  There was a time, in the early days of the Fourth Era, when I—like many of my kin—believed in the inevitability of our supremacy. I was a mere twenty-five years old when the monarchy was abolished, the banners of the Thalmor were raised in triumph across Summerset, and the dawn of our so-called Aurum Era was heralded with zealous certainty. It was an age we were told would restore us to our rightful station as the elder and most perfected race of Tamriel. They were no longer merely a political entity; it had become a doctrine, a faith. The Thalmor, draped in robes of black and gold, were not merely rulers—they were arbiters of truth, saviors of tradition, and architects of a future where Altmeri purity would reign unchallenged. They spoke of the past with reverence and the future with fervor, but they regarded the present only with suspicion. Every moment not in service to the divine vision of Auri-El's light and will was seen as a betrayal of our potential. I must confess, there was a certain allure to the rhetoric. We had endured the calamity of the Great Anguish, the collapse of the Empire's grasp, and the slow erosion of our ancient ways. When the Thalmor promised restoration—true restoration—it was difficult not to listen. I listened. We all did. Some whispered in defiance, but most of us—myself included—were silent, if not complicit. After all, what harm is there in the promise of greatness? What danger lurks in the restoration of ancient glory?

You know that feeling where you're listening to the ost of your favorite video game and you get to that one track which is the peak of nostalgia for everyone with that game or has a meaningful title and you scroll through the comments and read everyone's beautiful paragraphs of their experience, emotion and journey with that game and you can feel all those emotions yourself?
