Dead Quiet - Mirror of Mystery Trigger Happy

Hey remember when I used to do these? Anyway - here's Trigger Happy's evil twin from the dimensions across the Mirror of Mystery: Dead Quiet

The deadliest headhunter in all of Skylands! He never misses a shot from his trusty sniper rifle, and friend let me tell you - one shot is all he ever needs. This is what makes him a personal favourite amongst the many evildoers with enemies who meddle in their schemes. Dead Quiet is above all else - a proffesional, and has no time for play. It's to the point that he doesn't even spare the effort to speak (hence the name). There's an urban myth that he's mute but few lucky individuals can boast about knowing the sound of his voice.

Despite his legendary status and frightening presence, you'd be surprised to learn that he's actually kind of a coward. Dead Quiet dreads close-quarters combat. His choice a sniper rifle is as much about efficiency and effectiveness, as much as it's because it gives him an excuse to stay far away from folks who could do him harm. ================================================ Aight! A few questions to you folks: How do you all feel about custom names? I realised that many of the OG Skylander names wouldn't fit their MoM counterparts, so I thought it would be fun to change them up, and there's alredy a precident with 'Eon' and 'Evilon'. And how do you feel about "Dead Quiet" specifically? I think it works pretty well but I'm open to suggestions. Skylander names are hard.

As for what character Im gonna do next for my MoM AU: I have one more solid idea for an SSA character, and then I think Im gonna do some kind of vote for who's next.

Figuring out the Trig. Trying to come up with a way to store his guns

yall ever think of the connections thematically between Golden Queen and Trigger Happy?

In GQ's backstory there is a lime that mentions "she was so greedy for gold that she would give up all of it for just a little bit more." This is meant to show how much she obsesses about gold because she only cares about having "more"

Meanwhile, Trigger Happy, in "Skylanders The Complete Collection" (pg. 150) has this as an entry under his Least Likely To Do section: "Put down his guns (unless it's in order to pick up bigger ones)."

So we have two character themed around gold, with that same idea, throwing it all away to get more vs. Setting down your guns to pick up bigger ones.

So because that sentence is like that for GQ, I gotta assume that the line for TH is supposed to carry the same type of thematic symbolism, which is interesting as it ties TH really closely to the concept of an all-consuming greed. This MIGHT give us some insight into his backstory, which is unknown by all.

So, I propose: what if TH was a man so greedy that he asked for the midas touch? Or maybe in a less specific way, maybe he asked for infinite gold! (Because gold is the standard currency in skylands) so, now he had infinite gold, maybe TH weant insane from how he had inadvertently made everything of his worthless? As when there is infinite of a currency it becomes worthless. Maybe this is what broke his bain and turned him the the cackling maniac he is. (After all, anytime he speaks English, its always references to greed, "mine, mine, mine", "No gold no glory", etc.)

Perhaps that's all his shattered mind can recollect.

So he ends up using his infinite money strat to shoot the coins as bullets from golden guns, now literally throwing away the currency now he has no use for it.

Idk, im just yapping, what are yall's thoughts?

First time I draw skylanders I loved Skylanders as well since childhood.

Why do people feel the need to give Trigger Happy and Pop Fizz torsos? Like what's the appeal? Im not trying to be confrontational or something, genuently curious.
