So…. While I’m (kinda) bedridden while I recover from my wart treatment, I found a lighting/shading tutorial and decided to try it for gits and shiggles and HOLY SHIT IT LOOKS SO GOOD AND IT’S SO EASY TOO I’M IN LOVE.

Ignore the fact that these are just sketches I recycled bc I was too lazy to draw anything new plus my drawing skills have not been there for me since I had an anxiety spike (which has since been relieved).

I really got the hang of it with the Doom Stone doodle!

for your Skylanders oc prompt, what about like a swapforce, air and a rain theme for a character?

Alright I did change her element to water bc I thought I could convey the rain theme better, so I hope you don’t mind

but I am obsessed with her!!! Made her a centaur bc we don’t have enough of those and I tried going for like, vague rainy London killer type beat, gave her a simple knife bc like all of the water elementals have long range weapons?? Idk spicing it up (and added the wave pattern to it bc I couldn’t resist)

When an interest becomes so strong you make an oc/somewhat self insert for it- Well its about time I decided to write and draw her, and possibly do more things with her! Meet:

Sianze

Description:

Sianze is a young new portal master who came from Earth, but doesn’t remember who she was before coming to skylands. She specializes in the Undead element, thus having powers relating to the dead and works with skylanders in the Undead element. (Well, sometimes.). She may have deadly and scary powers and come across as scary at times, she is friendly, and pretty perky once you get to know her. Though she will get snarky and sarcastic when she wants to, either leading others to tell her to tone it down or sometimes keeping it to herself. Since she is young and didn’t originate in skylands and is a new portal master, she has a lot to learn. Learning all kinds of species and magic that flows around skylands, to training to become a good portal master. Sianze can sometimes be naive and sometimes doesn’t know what to do, unsure if she is doing the right thing or not. Not to mention, Master Eon is already old and slowly getting weaker with age, Sianze has to carry out and bear the title and expectations, much to her worries. Though despite all those, she has the skylanders and other people who can help guide her and teach her along the way, and Sianze isn’t one to give up. Other information;

-She is an elf, but her skin and hair color is slightly different from other elves (compared to other elves like Stealth Elf or Flameslinger for example). Leaning more on a turquoise color for her skin and ocean blue for her hair. -Her name “Sianze” is respelled from the word seance, an attempt to communicate with spirits. -Speaking of spirits, her main abilities are related to channeling spirits and necromancy, aside from the usual powers other portal masters like her have. -She sometimes wonder about her past life before she arrived in skylands. She only knows she came from Earth but thats about it, her memories are blurry and she doesn’t really think about it too much, but the thought still lingers.
