Fryno was my choice. I have loved this anger issues rhino since swap force. I wanted to work on backgrounds, but forgot to sketch it out this morning, so this was a rushed session.

Fryno was once a famous foosball player renowned for his devious strategies. However, after being caught smuggling illegal chompy meat over the Skylands boarder, he has been completely deplatformed and now lives in a hole that he dug outside of Eon's apartment. Eon graciously gave Fryno a place among the Skylanders in exchange for scraps of chompy meat every Thursday.

May I request Freeze Blade headcanons? He's definitely one of my favorites!

Sure thing! Freeze Blade has a really cool (hehehe) playstyle, but I was surprised to find that there's next to zero official info for him that I could find! So I've had to take some liberties.

Updated Origin Story:

Freeze Blade lived a pretty casual life back in the Frozen Wastelands of Vesh, living life on the edge and performing daredevil stunts without hesitation or worry for personal safety. He had an 'Only Live Once' mentality, and was known around town as a bit of a delinquent.

When the Frozen Wastelands began to be invaded by Spell Punks, Freeze Blade's parents took the teen daredevil and crossed Skylands, finding refuge at the Great Lava Lakes. Freeze Blade hated losing his home, and began to train, working harder and harder, pushing himself further and further, trying to become strong enough to reclaim his home.

As he practiced, Freeze Blade made friends, began to get attached to the Great Lava Lakes, finding that he could skate on even molten lava thanks to his ice magic.

`One day, he spotted a Skylander, Blast Zone, being attacked by the same Spell Punks that had taken his old home from him, and Freeze Blade refused to let it happen again. He joined the fight, saving Blast Zone, and the two of them defeated the Spell Punks.

After the dust had settled, Freeze Blade's parents returned to the Frozen Wastelands, but the icy cat had found his home at the Lava Lakes, and he knew it was his job to protect it, as a Skylander.

After becoming part of the SWAP Force, Freeze Blade became one of the most effective swappers, due to his lower half being so agile and fast, and his top half being so adaptable, able to figure out how to maximize his swap's potential in seconds flat.

Misc Stuff:

Freeze Blade is a closeted gay, though he hasn't figured it out yet.

Freeze Blade races with Roller Brawl, Fryno and Tread Head when given the chance.

Despite being of the water element, due to his life in the Lava Lakes, Freeze Blade actually feels much more comfortable in and around the Fire Element.

Freeze Blade is a prankster at heart, and has been known to mess around with people, though sometimes he goes too far and needs to be reprimanded.

Freeze Blade holds extreme respect for Blast Zone, and despite all his quips and pranks, the icy feline will always take the bomb flinging knight seriously, following any order given.

That's what I could come up with for Freeze Blade. Do you like it? I'm always down for feedback, as long as it's polite ^^

Ok, I have a few ideas on which skylanders meet or get picked up by which toys.

Hoppy:Spyro and Stealth Elf

Dogday: Fryno and Hotdog

Kickin: Sunburn and Sonic Boom

Picky: Bash and Flashwing

Bubbaphant: Sprocket and Trigger Happy

Bobby Bearhug: Tuff Luck and Zoo Lou

CatNap: Batspin and Grim Creeper

The reason why I gave Hoppy and Kickin two skylanders of different elements is due to their respective symbols, with Lightning being both nature and a bit magical, while Kickin is Star which are balls of fire and hang in the night sky. Also I sort of set it up so that most of the toys sort of have a parent set

Makes sense and these are some interesting picks. I can only imagine the shenanigans to come.

I have a mental list of Skylanders you have to commission me real money in order to draw and Voodood is on top of that list next to Fist Bump and the guy that drives the motorcycle that I keep mistaking for Fryno.

I really should've responded to that comment that said "What about Voodood?" I got on my Ghost Roaster picture with "What about him?" to avoid the current conversation of "actually Voodood is really quite sad" in my comments section...

Skytober, Day 27, Element Swap

I wanted to do Ignitor earlier, but I thought I'd rather do Fryno for fire. So when I came upon element swap, I decided to do him. The hardest part with skylanders like Ignitor is that they are completely tied to an element, so what do you do with the fire? I think this one turned out really well.

He entered a race, when he saw a newbie. Fucking ecstatic over a new peson in the racing scene. (And the possibility of them being you).

He saw you race, and was awed at how well you drove, wanting to talk to you afterwards.

He was surprised and very happy to see you, as you finally took off your helmet. “Holy shit it’s (name)!!!!!”

Fryno

At first he thought you were out for personal reasons, until he hasn’t heard about you for a good year.

However, he entered a race, in which he saw a new person.

There was some hope in his eyes that said “maybe it’s them?”

He was right, the newbie was you, just by watching you drive. Obviously he was pretty damn happy that you’re ok.

PART 13: thoughts over all

So..after ranking every skylander, no I will not do enemies or trapped bosses, I can kinda get a method with them

Magic are based on religions and the arcane

Undead are often dead or malicious

Life are based on flora and fauna

Fire are based on fire, magma, and explosives

Water are based on ice and marine life

Earth are based on rocks and Crystal's with a few rough boys

Air is based on flight, avians or weather

Tech is based on machinery, metal and demolition and man made things

Light is based on holy and benevolent forces

Dark is based conversely on lovecraftian and malicious things

I originally intended on looking at all scrapped skylanders too but I realized there were too many so I only covered the one that was most well known scrapped skylanders

I also noticed some of the sensei's in imaginators were really independent of their element

And another thing was that some skylanders were dropped. In the original generation they had 4 skylanders and then replaced one for giants then again for swap force but the ones they keeped were given ultimate versions that sometimes looked wholly different and then in superchargers some where brought back again ang given new armor.
