Skye is an average 16 year old girl. She likes art, animals and being in nature. Well, she has to like the last one, because she's lived in a jungle environment for as long as she can remember. A jungle environment with strange, sentence-repeating people that couldn't see her. And that's where Skye becomes a bit more than average.

Skye had been used to this for the first couple of days or weeks that she was there. But recently, she's become desperate for actual communication and interaction with people. Well, people who aren't just her talking to her reflection. Enter a group of strange travellers... All of which can see Skye.

Skye's world is about to change quite rapidly. Finding out that she's not only supposed to be a sentence-repeating NPC in a video game, but that she's an anomaly in the game's programming is the least of Skye's problems.

Now, along with the group of teenagers in adult bodies, Skye must help them navigate Jumanji to defeat Van Pelt, get the Jaguar's Eye, and leave the game. To make things even sweeter, the gruff jock-turned-zoologist starts to take a shine to Skye...
