I think I'm super basic except for one, but I am a multishipper at heart so anything here goes.

Piltover's Finest/Caitvi - shipped them since high school where some of my friends introduced me to League, which I played once before I decided it was not for me, but safe to say I've been shipping them for a long time and couldn't be happier that they're canon

Meljay - love them so much, they're really soft around each other, I like how Jayce brings out Mel's more tender side and manages to get around the armor of the politician she made around herself, and I like how protective Mel gets of Jayce and comforts him when he needs it

Jayvik - always a sucker for a good co-workers to lovers dynamic, they compliment each other in a lot of ways and I think they have such devotion to each other, cause even if you look at them as completely platonic the affection and devotion is still there no matter what

Meljayvik - let Mel have her two nerds and love them, not to mention that Mel and Viktor are foils to each other in many ways, in terms of color and narrative, and Jayce holds them together with his big strong, buff arms, plus it feels like they would all feel the need to take care of each other when they get overworked

Skyvik - we all know Sky had a crush on Viktor for a long time but he was too much of a workaholic nerd to notice, that being said s2 gave me so much with them, and I don't think Viktor lied at at all when he said he was gonna miss Sky's company and talking with her

Timebomb - friends to lovers, childhood friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, doomed by the narrative, this ship has it all and is canon in a alternate reality, I will never not love the bond these two have and how they manage to pull each other up when they need it

Lightcannon - I was always a fan of Lux and Jinx, again since high school and they were the second ship I shipped in the fandom, they haven't met in the animated universe (yet) but they are best friends and classmates in the Magical Girl timeline, and there are implications that Jinx has a crush on Lux there

Piltover's Finest Spy - now is one I that took me by complete surprise but as someone who loves Maddie this is me being delusional, I'm not saying she still can't be evil, but this has potential for angst, redemption, and a hot threesome, what more do I need to say

Okay ya so hi I literally have no one else to talk to about this but plsssss hear me out:

So we all know how people from the under city don't have last names well except for sky (young) she is literally the only person from the under city that has a last name. I headcanon that when Viktor requested or hired her to be their assistant he gave her a last name to give her a better chance in piltover😭😭😭😭. Mayyybeee that's why he's always calling her that🤔🤔🤔🤔

Wait I love that! It would’ve been interesting to see Viktor give himself a last name as well when he snuck into the academy, truly make a name for himself (metaphorically and literally). Especially since people from the Undercity are looked down upon, he truly could’ve been the beacon that they needed that didn’t revolve around violence (if his story went differently compared to how it did)

(I hate that Viktor never calls Sky Sky. He always called her Miss. Young, only referring to her as Sky when he tells Jayce that the hexcore murdered her. They’ve known each other since they were children, you’d think they’d be closer than they were in the show.)

finished episodes 7 and 8 with my sister:

she called the show scary a couple times before starting episode 7

"fuck the council" "well he is"

she was very happy when ekko was revealed, "FINALLY FUCKING FINALLY"

^but also went "i got him back and at what cost, HIS LIFE?" after marcus shot him

"i know that her tattoo says vi but i would like to think it says six for the five kids and vander"

she apparently never noticed how high mel's dress slits were until we got to episode 8

"i can't leave her again" "girl, we got in the boat, we paddled in the water, we got up here and now you want to make that decision? you could've told us before we packed up the boat"

"that looks like a nice hug" and "the bickering is insane" (about caitvi)

"i don't think you had to do that, madam" (about the opening scene with ambessa killing the girl)

when it cut to jayce's shirtless scene in the forge, she went "why does it look like he's having a sex dream about him, like "jayce will understand" then it cuts to this" ('he' being viktor)

^speaking of that scene she did in fact need a second after the "don't lose your nuts" bit

^she was also just like me and was disturbed by her interactions with the boytoy (no shade to them tho, to each their own)

"he killed a kid, that's gonna mess with him...i hope it does" (about jayce, also the "i hope it does" is meant to be read like she hopes he doesn't just move on)

"could this bitch die already, she's been close to dying a lot of times" (about sevika)

"MISS FRIZZLE?" (during the scene when we were in viktor's bloodstream)

when episode 7 ended, she did in fact think that jinx had killed herself and ekko (i also explained the whole thing about ekko hitting the bomb away from them, i also explained the thing about him having a crush on her when they were kids)

"i don't like mel's mother, i don't think you're supposed to but i don't"

"enforcer 3 is booo *thumbs down*" (because he was using a lot of force on the kid that jayce killed)

"it's giving zuko alone" (about heimerdinger going into the undercity)

ok so like i love love love hearing ppl’s headcanons abt sky cause like shes so sweet and cute and super undeveloped but shes also from zaun which is such a juxtaposition. so whenever i hear abt sky having more promiscuous attributes i just get super excited lmao cause yea that girl is an absolute deer in the headlights but she also definitely grows her own weed ykyk

Jayce goes to chill with Sky when Viktor and Mel shoo him off when they work cause his ADHD sometimes gets the best of him. In those cases he goes to see her cause she is too empathetic and he knows she'll pay attention to him. He also likes physically helping in the botanic garden as a change from the fires of the forge. Especially in summer.

Luck and Cue!! I love those guys!

I'll start with what they do! Cue handles the more professional stuff, and inner workings of the family, while Luck is more like an ambassador, checking in on local business they're "partnered" with, befriending even those they're not, doing his best to make Aster a name with predominantly positive association for most.

Honestly not too dissimilar to how the Mafiafell brothers' work dynamic functions, too, except Cue handles the more official publicity type of stuff, and Luck usually handles the, uh. "Sensitive matters".

As for their relationship, it's still pretty good, if maybe a bit more distant than classic US. They do still look out for each other, that loyalty is absolutely still there, but things are just...a little stilted between them. Almost not as close as brothers, sort of more like very good old friends, but not entirely. A little hard to explain, but they do know each other very well, even with the rift that'd grown after having the torch passed to them.

Luck is a bit of a brat and loves to do things for the sole purpose of annoying Cue, however he learned very early on Cue wouldn't bail him out if he really wanted to teach him a lesson and is careful about taking things "too far".

Cue, while caring deeply for his brother, feels like entertaining his more rebellious nature is just coddling or humoring him, and he doesn't want to encourage that, so he can be a bit hard on him, but whose to say that isn't deserved?

They tend to step on each others toes, and neither really wanted to live this kind of life and sort of had it forced on them unexpectedly, but they cope with that in entirely different ways. Though it's still significantly better for both than it'd be if either had to do it alone, that's for sure
