You ever have that one fandom you’ve really gotten into for what is ultimately a very small, niche aspect of it? Like you might kind of enjoy the more ‘mainstream’ parts of the show/game/franchise/etc. that most people are into some of the time. But at the end of the day, the part of the series that you’re REALLY into, the part that REALLY drew you in and is the part that REALLY keeps you in this fandom, is this one little underappreciated aspect that most of the fandom barely even cares or even knows about, if at all.

For me, that fandom is Yu-Gi-Oh!, and that small little niche of the fandom that represents the core of my interest in this series is CARD LORE.

Sure I sometimes might enjoy playing the game on Master Duel or Duel Links, and sometimes I enjoy discussions on the anime or get hyperfixated on brainstorming a whole AU/rewrite.

But the truth is, what I’m REALLY into Yu-Gi-Oh! for is story, lore and characters behind all those cards and their amazing artwork.

And I know this is the case because do you know what actually really GOT me (back) into Yugioh? The thing that got me writing and posting and thinking about Yugioh over the last year?

This crazy little short released one year ago today showcasing the stories and characters of those cards in glorious animation.

At the end of the day, it’s not the game or any of the animes that I’m REALLY into Yu-Gi-Oh! for.

THIS is what I like most about Yu-Gi-Oh.

So you had better believe that I am going to be the exact OPPOSITE of ‘normal’ about the Chronicles animation shorts that are going to start releasing in a couple months XD

A  long  yawn  escaped  his  lips  as  his  strong  arms  stretched,  his  back  arched  like  a  cat  against  the  Sunny's  wooden  railing.  It  took  them  quite  a  long  time  to  find  him.  Not  sure  if  it  was  because  Striker  was  tied  to  the  back  of  the  ship  with  a  rope  or  because  Ace  was  making  such  loud  snoring  noises  that  he  finally  woke  someone  up.  He  couldn't  say  it  was  an  instant  reaction  to  his  visit.  If  he  had  been  a  ferocious  killer,  he  would  have  slaughtered  half  the  crew  before  anyone  noticed  his  presence,

He  tipped  his  hat  back  with  his  thumb  and  rubbed  the  sleep  from  his  tired  eyelids.  Brown  irises  looked  up  at  the  sniper  guy  as  Ace's  lips  curled  into  a  small  smirk.  He  wiggled  in  his  seat,  making  himself  at  ease  by  resting  his  arms  behind  his  head  for  support.  ❝  Yep, It  took  ya  quite  a  long  time  to  discover  me.  I  noticed  your  ship  passing  by  late  at  night  and  decided  to  pay  y'all  a  visit.  If  I  hadn't  seen  how  my  little  pain  in  the  ass  brother  was  doing,  I  would  have  been  a  terrible  big  brother.  ❞  A  chuckle  followed  when  his  expression  was  like  rays  of  the  sun  slowly  rising  in  a  clear  blue  sky.

"Time to shine" - The 25-goal ace loads of Chelsea fans want up front after missing out on Jovic

Chelsea fans on Twitter are advocating the return of Tammy Abraham after Sky Sports reported that a deal has been agreed for Luka Jovic to join Real Madrid this summer.

Previously thought of a Chelsea strike target, it now appears that the Serbian forward is heading to the Spanish capital leaving the Blues with a dearth of potential attacking options.

Chelsea supporters received a first-hand introduction to the rising talent of Jovic as the Eintracht Frankfurt attacker scored in both legs of his side’s Europa League semi-final defeat to Maurizio Sarri’s team.

Meanwhile, Abraham has managed 25 Championship goals on loan at Aston Villa this season while also scoring the decisive spot-kick in Villa’s playoff semi-final penalty shoot-out victory against West Brom.

Now, with any deal for Jovic seemingly off the table, Sarri will have to look elsewhere for a starting calibre centre-forward and Chelsea fans on Twitter have pushed for the return of Abraham as that option.
