Brilliant album but why did they pick that track as the main single?

Brilliant album, but why did they pick that track as the main single? Just thinking about a few of my very favourite albums. Almost every song is killer, but the track they pushed as as the main single is just.. meh. For me:Violent Femmes - Rock!!!!! - single is 'Tonight'Bjork - Post - single is 'Army of Me'Crowded House - Woodface - single is 'Chocolate Cake'Great albums. Main singles are largely skippable. Library Research

I found a variety of typography on tags/labels in "The Big Book of Bags, Tags, and Labels" book by Cristian Campos.

The "Skunkfunk" soybean/bamboo tags are very intriguing. I specifically like the tag on the bottom far left. I like how the words are all different sizes, and scattered across the tag but still all fit into each other. I think it creates eye focus by making the main word in the middle green, compared to the rest, which are black. I like the strategy they used of making it generally unaligned with each other.

The second "skunkfunk" tags I find really interesting are the "Funk Your Mind". I really like the type they used. It gives an abstract geometric feel to it, especially with the stars for the counter space of the letters. Yet, there is also a modern/minimal look to it. I like their strategy of the use of negative space, in order to draw the eye in on the main focus.

Thirdly, the "47 Street" brown tags. The typography on these tags are really eye catching, how the words are going through and around the image of the girl in the centre draws your eye instantly to the image first, and then the words around it. I like how the serif is twirly, it makes the type very girly. The words fit in a wavy shape, which makes the eye try to read/understand what the typography is trying to communicate.

Lastly, the printed "47 Street" tags. The use of texture helps to create visual interest, and shows the surface of the material used. I like how the words are/or look like they were printed on, which also creates visual interest. I like the strategy they used by making their brand name in red, against the black and white, it really stands out and is one of the first things that catches the eye.
