Pink skunk clownfish!

Much like other clownfish, they have a layer of mucus that protects them from the sting of anemones! They're rather small, males only averaging at about 5 cm (2 inches) while females are as long as 10 cm (4 inches).

The Pink Skunk Clownfish

A.K.A: The Pink Anemonefish

(Yes, despite the name, it's actually more peach in hue. : ) )

Scientific Name: Amphiprion perideraion

Region: Reef lagoons and slopes across the western Pacific and eastern Indian oceans

Size: Up to about 3.9" (~10cm)

Interesting Notes: Unlike many anemonefish species, the Pink Skunk Clownfish, one of the smallest anemonefish, is willing to share its anemone host home with another species. : )

I'm not sure if you have, but for the mer au have you explained what kind of mers the clans are supposed to be (Ingo being an orca, Gaeric being a leopard seal, etc)?

I have, but I'll explain it again!

The Diamond clan are all fish (cold blooded, can breathe water). Adaman is a Sailfish, Mai is a tiger shark, Arezu is a cleaner shrimp, Iscan is a Salmon, Melli is a Skunk Clownfish, and Sabi is a cuttlefish

The Pearl Clan are all mammals (warm blooded, cannot breath water). Irida is a ribbon seal, Lian is a fur seal, Calaba is a Manatee, Palina is a sea lion, Ingo is an Orca (but born a man lol) and Gaeric is a leopard seal

Flakys a pufferfish

the twins are octopi

Petunias a skunk clownfish (yes thats a real fish)

and Splendid is a flying fish

The rest are just generic fish lol

Ribbon eel (adult male)

not weird at all! I do have fishes in my wr, actually. Specifically fishes native to coral reef environments and tropical conditions (pink skunk clownfish and purple firefish are two examples that come to mind)!

Dawn is a Harp Seal through magical means but can switch back and forth (and looks very weird as a mermaid according to the clans)

The Diamond Clan are all based off fish and live in the river mouth in the Mirelands

Adaman: Sailfish

Mai: Great White Shark

Arezu: Cleaner Shrimp

Iscan: Salmon

Melli: Skunk Clownfish

Sabi: Cuttlefish

The Pearl Clan are based off seals, sea lions, dolphins, and marine mammals in general

Irida: Ribbon Seal

Lian: Fur Seal

Calaba: Manatee

Palina: Sea Lion

Ingo: Orca (the only orca, and also turned into a merman through magical means)

Gaeric: Leopard Seal

Bonus: Coin is a Stellar Sea Lion (subject to change) and Clover is an Ice Fish (subject to change). Volo has a mer form but hasn't used it yet, he's a Collosal Squid
