Hey! I really love your headcanons about ephelayer, but if you don’t mind could you do something with Skuld x Player like something fluff. It’s ok if tou don’t want, but any away keep with the good writing.

YES!!! tbh since this side of the skulmerayer trinity is less popular than the other two (at least, that’s how I see it) I’m always glad to be able to see/make content for them

“Let’s go ask Master Gula.” Player pushes shakily on the bed to sit upright.

“You have to rest more!” Chirithy exclaims.

They rise from the bed, standing steadily on their two feet. “There’s no time.”

Skuld, on their right, sighs. “You’re right.”

Player barely takes a step towards the door Skuld speaks again: “But at least let me change your bandages.”

“But I’m fine.”

“Maybe you are, but even the bravest, toughest warrior shouldn’t have to go meet a foreteller smelling like blood.”

Player pouts a little. They turn to Chirithy, who nods in agreement, before waving and disappearing in a puff of smoke. They resign by sitting on the bed. “I can change my own bandages…” they say in a low voice.

“Well, if you haven’t noticed by now…I like taking care of people,” Skuld gets to work unwrapping the bandages around their left arm, covering a nasty cut from the sharp side of Aced’s Keyblade. “Especially reckless people like you.”

“…And Ephemera?” Player remembers that they’d been in the same party.

Skuld shakes her head in exasperation. “He was pretty reckless. In the beginning, I had to patch him up after every other mission. But I think you take the cake for getting the most beaten up in a day.”

“I did fight a foreteller…”

“You didn’t just fight one. You stood your ground. Against Master Aced!” Skuld replies, her eyes shining in awe, “You were absolutely amazing to watch, and so brave for going against someone double your size…I don’t know if I’d be able to do what you did.”

“Well, I try…” Player bashfully scratches their cheek with their free hand. “But to be honest, Skuld…I see you as the type of person who’s capable of doing anything.”

That has her blushing a bit, as she moves a strand of hair behind her ear. “You really think so?”

Player smiles. “I know so.”

*Ephemer enters the room, bandages wrapped his neck and sees the two as he then sighs*

Ephemer: Don’t let her trick you, she’s going to bite.

Lucas: What?

*Skuld chuckles as she suddenly bites down on his neck*

Lucas: ACK!

ayyy, how about some skulayer hc of finally realizing that they love each other? c:

Player realizes it when their heart feels warm and goes aflutter when they see Skuld on the battlefield, her hair flowing neatly, her steps graceful, as she’s bathed in light. They liked Skuld before. They were drawn to her compassion, kindness and energy, but it occurs to them that Skuld’s never failed to come to their rescue, that Skuld’s always been there for them. It makes them feel a bit fuzzy inside, but overall, they’re comfortable with these feelings.

With Skuld, it’s a little more complicated. She realizes her love for Player while Ephemera talks fondly about them to her. She finds herself strongly agreeing with his words, and goes away feeling confused. Without a doubt, she knows that her feelings for them are real and deep, but friends can feel deeply for each other too, can’t they? Friends feel the need to care for each other, right?

But…friends probably don’t feel the need to kiss each other, and be each other’s knight in shining armour all the time, she figures. And then smiles. It’d just be nice if she could stay by their side forever, as a friend, or even something other than that.
