Seeing Skrap-it having so much fun when he's smart for that ONE episode kind of breaks my heart. Like, he was genuinely having such a good time coming up with ideas and being able to execute them properly, maybe for the first time ever. I kind of wish he would've had his OWN character development arc, where he learns. Not necessarily that he's so smart from the start, but after all his time spent with D-structs and the gang, I wish he could've had something to show for it. Maybe even let him keep some memory of what happened that day after being struck again and going back to normal.

My brain is really on Redemption Arc Hours ™️ rn. Skrap-it and Rev as friends? Or mentor and apprentice? Sort of? I think that's a fun idea, where he sneaks off and learns from the reptools and applies what he learned to plans. And EVENTUALLY it leads to Redemption Arc™️ for him and D-structs. Im not conveying my thoughts properly or legibly but boy do I have a lot of them

Personally, I've always had a conflict with that episode, in my opinion I feel it's unnecessary to some extent, mainly because at the end of the day it's like nothing happened in this one. The episode, if you analyze it thoroughly, is full of loose ends, that Skrap-It was struck by lightning and became very "intelligent" makes no sense, mainly because it is almost impossible for it to survive a lightning strike twice , it happens more for the convenience of the script, yes, it's a children's show, but that doesn't mean there doesn't have to be logic, that lightning struck him and that he wasn't killed by all the electricity and heat, it's suspicious. I also don't think that Skrap-It is better being intelligent, after all they didn't achieve much with it, Skrap-It is already good enough without having to have a lot of intelligence, in itself it is very useful considering that he is not made to repair and build things. He's already smart, not much but he still is. Another thing that I personally feel is that he exaggerates a bit how smart he is when lightning strikes him, looking at the things he does after that and we analyze them a bit, they are not really very "smart ideas", in his most are simple fixes like at the beginning of the episode, since when he's "on the side" of the gang, the things he does are quirky and unhelpful in general, he just takes Revvit's ideas and adds a few things to them that aren't really Necessary, they are "improvements" that the only thing they serve is to appear more friendly and to be able to have the confidence of the Dinotrux. I don't consider Skrap-It to be super smart after lightning, personally I think he just had a more moderate intelligence, this considering that Scraptools aren't very smart and are pretty dumb and clumsy.
