Ofc! And I loved the pilot, and I accidentally made a joke when I started watching it and then it ended up being like the entire ending and yeah. It was delightful. But I'm doing this as headcannons, but just let me know if you want a oneshot instead

Your eyes wandered around the miles of apple trees. Skipp and you had snuck onto some farmer’s property and were collecting some apples for dinner for the others. “It smells so good.” You said, a small smile grew across your face. Skipp nodded, “it smells delicious!” He smiled, reaching into the basket in his hands and took an apple, then taking a bite. Before spitting it out. “Bleh! That one…wasn’t very sweet.” He frowned, sweat dropping. You giggled. “That was the one you and I were fighting over not even ten minutes ago.” You said, patting his shoulder. Skipp's cheeks flushed as he glanced away.

"Those apples look good!" You said, staring up at the tall apple tree. Skipp walked over to you, placing down the basket. "Mhm! Let me help you up." Skipp said as he stood behind you.

His body pressed his body against your back. His hands carefully go over your waist, and your cheeks turn pink. Skipp's hands went down to your waist, and then he lifted you up.

You picked off a few apples of the tree, carefully tossing them into the basket on the ground. Skipp's cheeks were red, holding you by your waist--made him feel all fuzzy inside.

As you picked the apples, you noticed a bee flying by. Your eyes widened, causing you to squeal, which caused Skipp to pull you close. Your back was pressed against his chest.

Skipp wasn't sure what you were so scared of, but he wanted to protect you. Skipp pulled you away from the tree where the bee was buzzing around the two of you.

The two of you stayed like that for a minute or two. And once the bee was gone, you two slowly let go of each other. The both of your cheeks flushed. "Thank you for protecting me from that bee." You muttered under your breath. Skipp nodded his face bright red.

You glanced off before quickly leaning up close to his face, gently pressing your lips against his. Skipp was caught off guard, he stumbled back flustered. "That was your reward." You smiled shyly, then picking up the basket full of apples.

"You're face is just as red as these apples!" You laughed.

• I can see the two of them’s relationship could be like an orange cat and a black cat.

• Skipp likes to practice his music with cat!reader around, as cat!reader always give feedback- whether it’s a flick of their tail or a purr, he’s appreciative

•It’s the same with any of his other hobbies, they’re always right there.

•Skipp is usually the one to carry them, in his arms or on his shoulders.

•The two of them’s relationship is most definitely like a golden retriever who talks, and a black cat who listens.

•Stones an interesting one,, if skipp’s not carrying them, they’re most likely laying on his shoulders!

• I love the idea that he calls them whiskers the most out of the three.

Had this in the drafts for a hot minute.

Vinnie: “Ah, the smell of piss and opportunity. Entertainment square is where all the Lootbags hang out. Look at ‘em all. Riching..richly…”

Vinnie leaned back into the alley to face Maggot, who’s being held by Skipp. Y/N and Stone being next to them.

Vinnie: “Anyway, today Skipp is gonna teach you how we get the money from their pockets into ours. And one way we can guarantee major handfuls is with our secret weapon! Y/N!”

Vinnie casually brings Y/N to her side. Your nerves suddenly spike as you grow nervous at the thought of going out into public.

Y/N: “Me? Oh geez, Vinnie. I-I don’t know. The last time, you dolled me up in some snazzy outfit and it drew in a large crowd! They were everywhere…”

Vinnie: “It won’t be like last time, you’ll just be lookin’ like a good ol’ Scrap like us!”

Vinnie: “You’ve got this, you three. Now go eat the rich! Frickin’ devour them, dudes!”

Skipp: “Come on, Y/N. I’ll be there for you!”

You didn’t really like attention being drawn on you, but with Skipp and Vinnie encouraging you…god damn it. Alright, you’ll do this for the others!

Vinnie gave you an enthusiastic pat on the back to calm your nerves as you, Skipp, and Maggot head out to entertainment square, Stone lighting up a cigarette during this.

Stone: “Vinnie, do you remember how we didn’t make enough pickpocketing last week, so we had to use Y/N or else we’d be eating shoes?”

Vinnie: “Eh, Y/N didn’t seem to mind. Get them up in proper clothes and the rich were just eating them up! Woo boy, did we make quite the killin’!”

Stone: “We had to literally fight to get them back here, we can’t just keep using them like that to get by, let alone trying to raise a baby by using them.”

Vinnie: “Oh yeah, hehe I remember! You were tossing those fuckin’ firebombs like crazy, never seen you fight that actively. You got a soft spot for pal Y/N?”

Stone turned his gaze away from Vinnie, not wanting to admit it, but the slight tinge of red on his face betrayed his outward mood. Vinnie gave him a reassuring pat on his shoulder.

Vinnie: “Hey hey, I get it. Look at me, I’m hella soft for them too, and so does Skipp. And I’m sure Maggot will too. I promise that if anything happens to them, we’ll bust ‘em out like always. We gotta stick together, y’know?”

Stone kept his gaze from Vinnie, but his expression does soften up.

Beatboxing is heard in the distance as Vinnie lightens up.

Vinnie: “Alright, that’s our signal! Let’s bounce!”

Vinnie grips Stone’s shirt as they rush off towards the others. A little reassured, but it can go a long way.

As you walk over to the alleyway you are hit with the strong scent of tobacco, you sniff rubbing your eyes trying to hide the fact you were upset shivering from the cold when u notice stone sat there alone smoking a cigarette in the alleyway outside ur guys little shack.

-stone notices ur mood almost immediately and his eyebrows furrow from concern before he speaks up ��hey are you alright?” He asked flicking the end of the cigarette onto the floor squishing it with his foot

-you shake your head going to sit next to him as he asks what happened, you sigh before beginning to tell him about your day.

-stone listens carefully to you his eyes locked to your face as he lets you ramble on, his presence just there to comfort you, to let u know he’s there

-you begin to tear up the tears rolling down ur cheeks before wiping them away quickly as you give a weak smile to try lighten the mood not wanting to seem pathetic

-stone is still looking at u intently his expression of concern as he hesitantly reaches a hand to your back awkwardly patting it trying to comfort you “i-im sorry that happened… ” he muttered giving a weak smile before he purses his lips together bringing his hand back, mentally destroying himself for the awkward thing he just did

-you look up at him with a raised eyebrow before bursting out with laughter, finding it funny but really sweet at the same time

-stone blushes from embarrassment head turned away from u as he rolls his eyes, you give a cheeky grin at him before he gently pushes you away from him with his hand “stop laughing! I was trying to be nice!”

-you look at him with a soft smile, “i cant man that was too funny!”you chuckle before taking a breath and calming down from ur outburst of laughter before attacking stone with a hug “thank tho, somehow u actually made me feel better” you chuckle into his chest

-stones body freezes, his eyes widened from shock when your wrapped around his waist. He hesitates before he slowly wraps his arms around you giving in and accepting the hug “I-it’s no problem” he hums blush still evident on his face

(but you can see him smiling as he turns away.) -he's definitely a softie out of that whole "I'm not interested in other people" shell, so don't feel bad when he acts aloof, he just doesn't know how to express how much he appreciates you. -he never really cared about the way you dressed, it was nice and fancy like all the other rich people in ramshackle. -although if you give him a suit that matches yours he won't mind at all. -he probably won't wear it often, but he'll always keep it in a place where it won't get dirty or broken by rats. -he has flaws, of course, but you still love your sadboi no matter what.

I think Skipp would sing songs about you or to you. Had a nightmare? He'll cuddle you and hum a soft tune to help you all asleep. This also count for playing his music too.

Pda is a regular. (Like holding hands, kisses on cheek ect.). Does not care if they are in public or not. He just wants to show his love to his S/o.

Loves kisses. Any and every type. He especially loves nose kisses. He would just spontaneously give you nose kisses out of nowhere.

Gives you his scarf when you get cold and night or just in general. He don't want you to catch a cold.

The quiet sounds of the ocean washing hitting up against the shore and the feeling of the breeze through Your hair was enough to make You sigh

"LOOK OUT BELOW!" Your captain, Vinnie, shouted as she swung from the upper deck on a rope and crashed into one of the outposts

You winced slightly "That's gotta sting..." You muttered to nobody in particular while Vinnie sat up and spit out one of her teeth

She blinked and grabbed it before putting it in her bag as if nothing had happen. You however, ignored it and leaned over the edge of the boat

"Isn't this great?" Vinnie asked walking up and standing beside You "The salty sea air, the wind blowing in your face... a perfect day to be at sea!" She grinned

"You say that everyday..." You replied looking down into the water watching the fish Swim up only to be startled by the ship and swim down again "But it's true" Vinnie shrugged as she turned around and leaned her back against the railing along with resting her elbows on it

You sighed and looked at her "Don't you ever wonder what it's like down there?" You asked to which Vinnie blinked and said "I don't follow"

"I mean actually be a fish... Swimming around and finding the most beautiful treasures in the water, Seeing coral reefs and-" "And getting stuck in a net then being fried up and killed?"

I was wondering you could do ramshackle x fem!reader headcanons?? Like their preference for dates, small things they do affectionately, that kinda stuff!! (I also saw you mainly do male!readers so If anything nb!reader works just fine >^w^<)

Omg thank you, I'm gonna do nb! reader just cause I feel a bit more comfortable with it. Also I'm gonna be mainly touching on their love languages, dates, and types of physical affection!

Trio x Reader

Stone -

- So I believe I've talked about this before but I believe his love languages are Words of Affirmation for receiving and Acts of Service giving.

- Primarily because I feel like he would be very insecure, and that really ties into both of the love languages.

- As for dates, he's hella private. Like just generally.

- So I think it would probably be like, more staying in and chilling dates.

- Like sharing a bottle of alcohol and talking about childhood trauma (so romantic).

- And thats also kinda the same thing for his physical affection.

- He's very private so he's definitely not gonna like make out with you in public.

- But he definitely likes holding your hand and kisses on the cheek/forehead.

- This is primarily because they're all short(ish) but still sweet

- In all, 7/10 boyfriend, he's still a bad hobo tho (laugh at my joke please 😭)

Skipp -

- So idk why but it's a little hard to pinpoint any specific love language for him. He genuinely seems like the kind of person who just likes to love people

- So in all honesty, he's chill with about anything.

- And that ties into dates too

- Wanna use your date to steal from people? Sure. Wanna have a picnic? Sure. Wanna party with everyone and then hide away at the end and just talk? Sounds great!

- He is almost completely the definition of going with the flow.

- As for pda, I again honestly don't really think he would care.

- like obviously no making out with you randomly, but holding hands and little pecks would be his definite strong suit.

- in all 9/10 boyfriend, idk what to say he's just kinda great.

Vinnie -

- She's uhh... interesting?

- but regardless, I think her love language would be a mixture of acts of service and physical touch.

- Like it would be primarily just "oh you want that? Lemme steal it for you" *que gremlin planning stance*

- As for dates, I don't think she would really care about them?? Like just being around you is chill enough.

- But if I had to pick it would most likely be like parties.

- Now different from the boys, she would make out with you in public.

- She'll do whatever she wants lmao

- She could care less about pda, like she just...does it???

- in all 8/10 girlfriend, make sure you give her her rabies shot

“Hey, where’s your brother?” You asked, looking around for the another child you were watching. The little girl, Jessie shrugged. “One minute he was there, the next he was gone!” She frowned. You sighed, having been distracted by buying food. “Damn it.” You sighed, looking around. “Crap—!” You panicked, before taking Jessie’s hand.

Meanwhile, Skipp, Vinnie, and Stone were staring at Daniel, the child that went missing from you. “Now what?” Vinnie asked, poking at his head. “Don’t touch it you might get a disease.” Stone said, puffing out smoke. Skipp sighed, before he kneeled down to Daniel. “Were you with your mother?” Skipp asked, smiling. Daniel shook his head, “No…I like to think of them as my mom…and I was with my sister.” He said, glancing around. Skipp nodded. “I’ll come help with you search for them.”

Meanwhile, you were carrying Jessie, who was looking around. “Daniel!” You yelled out through out the streets. “Is he dead?” Jessie asked, frowning as she looked around. “Thank god—“ “No he isn’t dead!”

A few other kids that you babysat, came over and helped. It wasn’t like their parents are watching them. So, a folk of kids, screaming Daniel’s name down the street.

Skipp perked up, looking around. “Do you hear that?” He asked, glancing down at the boy. Daniel nodded, before he tugged at Skipp’s hand. They both ran down the street after the screams.

“Hi!” Daniel smiled, crashing into your legs, huffing them tightly. “Oh my god!” You sighed, crouching down. Skipp looked around, staring at the rich kids who were eyeing him. “He kidnapped him!” One child yelled. “Yeah!”

You sighed, shaking your head. Skipp smiled nervously. “Sorry about them—“ You smiled at him. Skipp flushed. “Get him!” The rich kids began to charge at him. Skipp squealed, before he quickly ran. “Kids! Don’t change him!” You ran after them.

Runaway (Stone x OC/Reader)

Hello! This is my first Ramshackle fic. I might end up doing more but I really hope I don’t because I have another fic to finish! Anyway content warnings: past abuse, drug use, anxiety. summary: Anastasia’s cruel subconscious rudely snapped her from sleep. She could feel the cold sweat rolling itself down her back and her breathing was heavier. Reality set in quickly as she realized she was in a tent rather than her old bedroom. She looked at the three Scraps who peacefully slept beside her.

‘Worthless Brat! How come you can’t do anything right?!” 

Anastasia’s cruel subconscious rudely snapped her from sleep. She could feel the cold sweat rolling itself down her back and her breathing was heavier. Reality set in quickly as she realized she was in a tent rather than her old bedroom. She looked at the three Scraps who peacefully slept beside her.

Her eyes shifted away from them. It felt wrong to still think of them as Scraps when they were kind enough to accept her into their group. She reached down next to where she slept and picked up her glasses. She fumbled around her bag and the limited amount of her possessions, zipping a secret pocket she pulled out a journal. 

Careful shifting the blanket off of her, She slinked out of the tent, doing everything she could not to wake the others. Her foot got caught on something in the tent and she tumbled into the alley way, a hand covering her mouth to make sure she didn’t make any noise as she found herself facing the cool night air. She turned to look back at them, going still as she waited for any signs that one had been woken up.

When she figured she was in the clear, she finally made herself out of the alleyway and pressed up against the building. She settled her back up against the wall and laid there. Anastasia stared out at the empty street in front of the alley before tilting her head back, she could hear the quiet thunk as the back of her skull touched the coarse brick.

Some things never do change, whether it be in the ‘cushy’ walls of one of the manors or it be out on the desolate streets. Anastasia had foolishly believed simply leaving that hellhole would stop the nightmares from plaguing her… She flipped open the leather journal and spun the pencil around as she landed on a fresh blanket page, tapping the eraser to her chin.

��What are yae doing out ‘ere?” 

Anastasia clapped the book shut and shoved it behind her, almost jumping out of her skin to see who had spoken to her. She rested a hand on her chest. “Stone… I am sorry, did-did I wake you?”

“Naw,” he walked over to the other side of her, pressing his back against the wall before spreading out his legs as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out his box of mismatched cigarettes and pulled one out. “Are yae going to answer my question?” 

“It’s nothing.”

His cigarette dipped down from a moment before he flicked it up. “Then why have yae been sneaking out for the last few nights?”

Anastasia tensed up. “I am sorry…” 

“I am not askin’ for an apology,” Stone looked at her took a long drag of his cigarette. “I am tryin’ to make sure yer alright, alright?” the gray smoke poured from his mouth as he looked at the sky. “If you don’t want to talk about it, I am not gonna force you.” 

Anatasia looked at his profile for a bit, it took her a moment to long to realize she had been staring at him. “… It really is nothing,” Anastasia shifted her head to look at the gray road. “Just… bad dreams.” 

“It isn’t nothing if it is keeping you up all night,” Stone grinded the nub into the ground. “You are a Scrap now, if something is distressing you, we are all going to want to help you…”

“You all have already helped me so much…. I don’t want to bother you. A-and besides, there isn’t much that can be done…”

Stone rolled his eyes. “It isn’t fuckin’ botherin’ us,” Stone pulled out his vodka bottle and took a swig from it before placing it down in the dirt, grinding it into the dirt and stone. “Trustin’ might not come naturally, it might even be terrifyin’, but yer a scrap now…” he looked to the side and shrugged, thinking of Vinnie’s words. “Scraps have each other’s back.“

“... I will try….” Anatasia meant it in earnest. 

Stone grabbed his package of cigarettes again and went towards the corner, pulling out a cigarette that looked different from the others. It was thicker and she could clearly see where it had been rolled.  He lit it and took a long drag before holding it out to her. “Here, this might help.” 

“Oh, I-I don’t-”

“I know you don’t smoke, it isn’t a cig. It’s pot.” 

“Oh-” It wasn’t something she had access to directly, but Anastasia had actually read about some of the medical benefits of Marijuana. One of them was helping with sleep. She carefully took it and held it like he had, trying to take an equal as long drag. Not that she got very far before she was hacking. She shoved a hand over her mouth

Stone carefully took the joint from her fingers, putting his other hand on her back, helping to steady her. “Don’t worry about ‘em, those two can sleep through anything.”  After she managed to breathe a bit Stone moved away, taking another hit before offering it back.

Anastasia took a few deep breaths before she picked it up again, taking a smaller hit this time. She began to cough as she offered it back to Stone.   He took one more hit and offered it back for the last time. After she had taken her last hit he put it out and back into the box. “That’s enough for your first time.”

“Thank you…” she said.  She turned back to looking at the road and after a few seconds her entire body went slack, staring up at the sky.

Stone watched her and a tiny, tiny grin came to his face. “Are you still in there?”

“Huh?” Anastasia snapped out of it and looked at him. “Sorry…” her eyes fell and she began to stare at his chest, beginning to completely space out again.  

“Got anything in particular on yer mind?” he asked. 

“... I really wanna cuddle with you…” 

Stone tensed up a bit and cleared his throat. He looked to the side before his irises rolled back over to her. “Fine. Ya get five minutes.” 

With a bit more excitement than she would have expected from herself, she clung to his waist. Her head fell into his chest and she closed her eyes. After only about two minutes of resting on top of him, she was out. 

Stone held his arms out before his body slowly relaxed. He took her glasses off and carefully folded them up, putting them on top of the journal. After a few minutes he huffed, his arms relaxing to her waist. “Fine…. Guess you can stay a little longer than five minutes…”

Skipp sat up in bed and looked around. Something was missing, he knew it. After a second it clicked. “Vinnie! Vinnie! Stone and Anastasia are missing!” 

Vinnie immediately sat up and went out of the tent. Her eyes scanned around and she rounded the corner. Both of her feet planted into the ground and the expression of concern shifted to a stupidly big grin. “Oooohhh- I know why they were sneakin’ off-” 

“What happened are the-” Skipp stopped as he rounded the corner and he let out a loud gasp. Stone opened one eye and glared. 

“What is it?” he grumbled. His hand on Anastasia’s waist tapped her and he looked down. Both of his hands flew off and Anastasia remained knocked out. 

“Stone-  don't tell me you got a crush on Anastasia-” Skipp whisper-yelled. 

Stone’s cheeks turned bright pink. “I don’t have a damn crush.”

“Oohhhhhhh you dooooon’t?” Vinnie had a tease in her tone as she showed off all of her teeth. “Whatcha doing then?”

“She wasn’t sleepin’ well, nothing more than that,” Stone shook Anastasia’s shoulders which jolted her awake. She looked at him and immediately flung herself off of his body. 

“Good morning! I am sorry!” 

“Yer fine, it’s just morning-” Stone grumbled as he got up. “Come on, we got better things to do than just being in awe.”

“Stone! I think it is a good thing!”

“It’s alright you know,” Vinnie continued to tease.

Anya took a breath and put a hand on her bright red cheeks. She reached down and opened her glasses before sliding them on with one hand. 

That was one way to start a the morning, but she couldn’t deny she did feel a lot better.
