It’s revitalizing moisturizing and a anti-aging spray 🥀I’ve talked about the benefits of rosewater before but I don’t think I’ve talked about the significant difference between distilled CLEAR rosewater or the store bought Pink rosewater. 🥀 The reason why distilled rosewater is 100xs better is the way it’s produced. When rose petals are boiled, the scent & oils mixes with the water. The condensation rises to the top of the distillery and drips into a bowl. This is how pure rosewater, full of oils from the petals and it’s glorious scent is trapped. Real rosewater smells more warm & earthy not a punch in the face of fake rose fragrance. When you see a pink rosewater it is more then likely either just the boiled rose water or a colored fragrant water. 🥀Distilled rosewater holds a significant amount of pure absolute rose oil. Something that penetrates the skin reviving its luster, soothes irritated skin, broken capillaries and redness can diminish as well as any dryness. 🥀Rosewater can be used in several ways too. You can use it as a toner to balance pH, to clean & shrink pore appearance, spritz in your hair to freshen it up or defrizz fly aways, as a pillow or room spray, as a makeup setting spray or primer, to wet brushes for a clean application and as a body spray to add moisture to dry skin. 🥀 @bluebeautifly rosewater should be a staple in anyone’s skincare routine.
