When rose petals are boiled, the scent & oils mixes with the water. The condensation rises to the top of the distillery and drips into a bowl. This is how pure rosewater, full of oils from the petals and it’s glorious scent is trapped. Real rosewater smells more warm & earthy not a punch in the face of fake rose fragrance. When you see a pink rosewater it is more then likely either just the boiled rose water or a colored fragrant water. 🥀Distilled rosewater holds a significant amount of pure absolute rose oil. Something that penetrates the skin reviving its luster, soothes irritated skin, broken capillaries and redness can diminish as well as any dryness. 🥀Rosewater can be used in several ways too.
