I’m so sorry for sending an ask out of the blue like this, but I just saw a Skimble design that just drove me actually insane, (and spent 20 minutes searching for it, I’m so sorry if this is incoherent).

If my calculations are correct, he’s from the 2013 and 2018 Mexico touring production (I originally found him on Pinterest and went on a wild goose chase from there)

i've had that skimble design saved on pinterest for so long!! literally he was just waiting to be drawn 😭 thank you for requesting him it finally made me draw him

I realized I never posted these here on tumblr! 2020 did unspeakable things to my mind and body…I staggered away from lockdown with a whole pitch of how I would make an animated Cats adaptation. I got the whole thing up here *taps skull*—it would be Very Good. I can’t think about it too much lest I awaken my sleeping obsession…still want to finish Old Deut and Macavity one of these days.

Fun fact: The term "Jellicle Cat" is actually the cats’ mishearing of the term "Dear Little Cat" (this gives me much joy)

Baby’s first zine participation!! It was an absolute honour to be invited on as guest artist and been given the chance to work with some of the community’s most talented creatives in the @namingofcatszine ! This was definitely one of if not the most ambitious pieces I’ve ever attempted over the course of a few months in 2023 but I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and create something I can truly be proud of. Thank you so much to all the mods, artists, writers for their incredible efforts and of course the unwavering support of the Cats community for making this happen 🫶 it has been an amazing experience from the beginning until the end 🥹

Thinking about how cats the musical works so well because every cat thinks theyre the best cat. Like yeah of course this cat thinks the entire train will not go without him and that hes basically in charge. Hes a cat.

CATS!! I can't stop thinking about this musical and these characters! I keep trying to figure out how Id personally translate their designs for things like animation and/or comics. plenty of these I'm not 100% satisfied with and I'm sure they'll change but here's at least my first attempt for posterity. I feel like I drew SO many cats and yet there are SO many I have YET to draw OTL
