SERIES MASTERLIST
synopsis a old memory surfaces
the rolling of the wheel of the lighter ignited a small flame then it dies down. there's a few clicking before it produces a fire and suguru watched in a bored manner. following the lighter's fire touched the tip of the cigarette and then followed by a smoke. the brunnete inhales before exhaling the smoke. humming as she glances at his friends. impatient from the looks of it.
years of being friends with these two and one could say she's used to the duo's shenanigans and yet, it was still fucking unbelievable how these two creates trouble and her taking the brunt of it. the memory of you unmoving while being connected to machines still replays in her mind.
“god forbid you two for existing.” shoko started. taking a puff from her cigarette. the stick between her slender fingers glowing brightly. “strong words, sho.” suguru commented. “what we did do for you to say that?” satoru grumbles. chewing the candy he was eating out of his frustration. it's not like for shoko to say things like that knowing that she leaves them do whatever it pleases them.
“you know damn well.” shoko flicks the cigarette. the ashes dancing before it disappears in the wind before putting the cigarette in her lips.
suguru then took a puff of his smoke and sighs. he knows where this conversation is going. “what happened to her, sho?” taking the sight of the lawn below him while he leans on the railing of their frat house. satoru who was earlier grumbling stops and listened to what shoko have to say about you.
“she overdosed and was in coma for two days, you idiots.” shoko revealed them and satoru was the first to say something about it. “overdosed?” he let out a laugh. disbelief painted on his face.
“and how we are involved in this?” suguru raises a brow at her and shoko remains looking in the front. not sparing a glance to the two idiots besides her. “do i really need to tell you two? you were all over her since last semester and for all i know is both of you are fucking her! literally and figuratively. you sick fucks!” shoko without blinking tell them. never they did see shoko to be so worked up.
“calm down shoko. we're just playing with her and we didn't know that she'll end up there. maybe, she was experimenting.” fixing his glasses as he explained to shoko but she was having none of it and the cigarette burns faster as she took a long deep breath from it.
“we thought she was tipsy that night. we didn't know she done it.” suguru added.
“i can't believe you two! and seriously experimenting? what the fuck is that thinking, satoru! and you suguru, of all people! i thought you were the empathetic one. you left her to die, you fucking assholes!” shoko said enraged. throwing her cigarette in anger and pulling another one. struggling to light the goddamn lighter. geto grabs the lighter from her. it smoothly lights as he clicks the lighter and shoko lights her cigarette. “i just can't believe you two were capable of that.” shoko sighs, rubbing a tense spot in her head. she got a headache and two literal headaches as her friends.
fuck, how did that happen. you were fine and maybe you were a little tipsy when they left you and it was nothing serious about it. you were being stubborn that night and how the fuck did you end up overdosing yourself. he just can't believe it.
suguru looks at shoko. the dark circles below her eyes got darker than it was. late hours shifts as an intern does this to her and he thinks about you. he kept an eye to you that night and he only takes his eyes off you for a second and you already put yourself in trouble and maybe that's the reason you got dragged to him and satoru. he stares at his friend. handsome he may look but this one could be a pain in the ass. entitled and a spoiled brat. that's what makes them a perfect pair despite their differences. he can ground satoru but when it comes to you. they're both in line in each other's whims.
“is she okay, sho?” satoru asks.
“she'll live.”
“is she still in there?”
shoko scoffs. “what you two going to send her a get-well-soon card after endangering her?” the sarcasm hits and satoru winces. “and to answer your question. she transferred hospitals and don't know where and even i know, i won't tell you both. it's best for her to be away from you two.” finishing her cigarette and then tucks her hands in her pockets. she walks away but stops.
“fair warning you two, it will bite back.” she says and left without looking back.
that was years ago. they tried to find you and it always pointed them in a dead end. can't say they're a changed men now but they did mature and the damage they had done to you was the worst thing.
satoru sits in his chair. it was two years now since it was passed to him. he's the heir after all and now ceo. suguru is still out there and sometimes would visit. have his own business ventures to attend too and is now, engaged to his fiancé whom his father had arranged. sometimes, he thinks about you. were things to be different around here if you were here and it looks like his prayer was answered.
you came walking through his doors.

A Life in the Hands of the Enemy -- Villain reluctantly saves Hero's Life *BONUS Scene* part 2
Warnings: semi-reformed Villain, kidnapping, ambush, beating of Hero, mention of future torture, broadcasting death
"Amber," he whispered to himself in disbelief. What had she gotten herself into?!
Zack stared blankly at the wall in front of him, processing what had just happened.
Amber. Amber had called him for help. But why him? Did she really trust him that much to put her life in his hands again, even after everything he'd done to her?
On the one hand, Zack would leave her on her own, and not risk the wonderful new life he'd created for himself. He wasn't Villain anymore. But... Amber had also saved him from the death sentence he deserved. He owed her one.
Zack groaned, rubbing his face with his palms. His stupid newfound conscience was getting annoying. The past version of him would stay out of it and let things play out on their own, but... he'd developed a small soft spot for the hot-headed Hero. He respected her, maybe a little too much. And whoever had captured her would no doubt have dark plans for her.
But if he did decide to come to Amber's aid... how was he supposed to find her? Her attackers knew what they were doing, they had taken the time to destroy her phone and ensure they were followed.
Tracker, Zack realized with a jolt. He'd never removed the tracking chip he'd given Amber when she was his prisoner. He'd meant it as a means of finding her if she ever escaped his grasp, but now it could be the only thing that saved her. He felt a flicker of pride in himself for that clever foresight on his part, thanking his past self for it.
But there were a few other problems with this situation: firstly, he didn't have his Villain suit to hide his identity, and secondly, he didn't have any of his old weapons that had been confiscated by authorities along with his suit. As a dead man, it wouldn't be wise of him to show up guns blazing without something to cover his face. No one could know he was still alive.
Zack rifled through his closet to find the skii mask he often wore to protect himself when tinkering with things that would generate small sparks. It was perfect.
Now he just needed weapons. He took a look at all the various tools and creations he'd made in his apartment, sprawled out across his work table. Most projects were only half-finished and not functional or reliable. But there were a few he could find use in bringing.
He donned a special belt to hold everything, hooking a modified stun gun to it that could blast high-voltage electricity. Inspired by Supervillain's design when he'd almost killed Amber. He added various fighting knives to his collection, along with some lock picks that might come in handy. Then he sighed, marching to the door next and taking a long black cloak off a hook in the wall that he put on, pulling the hood up over his head after sliding the skin mask on. He wrapped it snugly around himself, hiding the fact that he was heavily armed, and set off to his van.
He drove to the last location Amber's phone had been before it was destroyed, walking into the alley the fight must have taken place. It was as good a place as any to start searching. And it was awful. There was blood visible on the ground, mostly dried by now but the amount of it was what had Zack worried. If it belonged to Amber, it meant she was seriously injured.
And in a small puddle of that blood, was Amber's phone, smashed to smithereens and crushed into the asphalt. Zack's stomach churned with an unknown emotion as he pulled out his own phone, snapping a quick picture of the crime scene in case he needed it later before he pulled up the app connected to the tracker he'd once implanted into Amber's neck. He let out a sharp breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding when the signal came through, strong and steady. Only ten miles away from where he was standing.
Zack turned around and walked briskly back to his van. He had a mission to go on.
-------------------------------------------------------
Amber's head was pounding with pain when she came back to consciousness, her ears ringing painfully. Drying blood trailed down her face from her forehead and nose, her broken ankle swollen and throbbing.
She groaned and twitched as her awareness trickled back. Something rough and scratchy was digging into her wrists and ankles, and there was something thick covering her eyes -- she was blindfolded. The rest of the brain fog instantly evaporated in her alarm, and she tugged experimentally against the ropes binding her to -- a chair? What was going on?
And voices. She could hear voices somewhere close.
"...I think she's back," one of them suddenly said.
Footsteps approached, and Amber flinched in surprise when hands touched her head, taking the blindfold off. She squinted at the light that filled her vision, eyes taking a second to adjust.
The first thing she noticed was the camera on a tripod in front of her, then the three men surrounding her, all of which had malicious intent written in their cold expressions.
"Morning sunshine," one man jeered mockingly. "You've been out for quite awhile."
Amber scowled viciously at him with a withering glare, but he only laughed. "What do you want with me?" She snarled angrily.
The man had dark brown hair and eyes, and a small scar on his cheek, and he crouched down in front of the chair Amber was tied to to be eye-level with her. "I'm Roger, and I'm being paid a whopping sum to livestream your death to the city – and I get bonus points depending how long I can draw the torture out. My employer wants to send your hero team a firm message to back off his operations, or he'll start killing other teammates next."
"You're from (Organization)?" Amber gaped in disbelief. She and her team had been tracking them for over a week, interfering with their work and stopping lethal drugs from being transported. They'd been planning to catch and arrest the leader next, destroy everything and put a stop to the business altogether.
"How'd you find me?" Amber demanded, suddenly wary.
"That's not for you to know," Roger chuckled, straightening. "But let's just say your team isn't as secretive and careful as they think they are with their identities."
Amber's face hardened, and she tried to blast him with her fire powers, but only a few pathetic sparks left her hands, making all three men snicker with amusement.
"You must really think we're rookies, don't you?" Roger teased, "to assume we wouldn't take precautions and disable your powers in advance." He gestured to the single metal cuff on her left wrist, right in front of the rope binding it to the arm of the chair. A power-suppressor.
Amber cursed under her breath. How could she have been taken down in the first place?! She was one of the strongest heroes in her team, and she felt she might die of the humiliation long before these men killed her.
The smallest of the three men approached Amber with a syringe in his hand, and Amber leaned as far away from him as possible. "Wait! What is th--" she gasped as he stabbed the needle into her skin, injecting an unknown drug. But whatever it was, took immediate effect. Amber's vision went fuzzy, the world tilting on its axis as she struggled to focus her eyes, a slow, stretching pain taking over.
The man next to Roger stepped behind the camera on the tripod, clicking a button. "We'll be live in 5 seconds," he announced.
Roger slipped a balaclava over his head that covered everything but his eyes and mouth, drawing a sharp hunting knife from his belt, and Amber felt ice-cold adrenaline rush down her spine. No one was going to find her in time. And everyone would be watching her die. On live television.

Got tagged by @arts-i-enjoy at just the right time to be able to do one of these things. It's a nifty ask game!
Are you named after anyone?
I think my middle name is based off of some kind of Sears or Eatons model but I cannot verify this.
When was the last time you cried?
Ahh ha ha haha. next please.
Do you have kids?
Nah.
What sports do you play/have you played?
Competitively I used to play a lot. Hockey, curling, ringette, baseball, gymnastics, ice skating, volleyball, basketball. - Basically the only team sport that I didn't participate in was soccer because I couldn't stand soccer. Non-competitively I did rock climbing, general obstacle courses, roller blading, swimming, tubing/water skiing/wakeboarding, archery, hiking, snowmobiling, downhill and cross country skiiing... Dodge ball > : )
Do you use sarcasm?
No. Never. [/sarcasm]
What is the first thing you notice about people?
I don't really notice things in a particular order.... I guess someone's style since I usually notice like... earrings, pins, cute sweaters, neat beards.... novel stimuli is what I notice if I notice people.
What's your eye color?
Brown
Scary movies or happy endings?
Why not both?
Any talents?
I'd like to think I have quite a few. I can sing pretty well, I can draw pleasing things, I'm pretty good at making people laugh. I am a good listener and apparently good to bounce things off of. I got a lot of those "soft skills" you always hear about but can never monetize, lol. But I am content with just being helpful for the people in my life.
Where were you born?
Canada.
What are your hobbies?
Art, video games and animal keeping are the biggins because they are what I have the most energy for. I pick up and drop various physical hobbies (crossstitch, knitting, clay modeling) all the time though but none have a lot of staying power. I like the learning process more than anything, I think.
Can just "learning" be a hobby I guess?
Do you have any pets?
1 Doggo, 2 cats, 1 tiny parrot!
How tall are you?
Short enough to cause problems. 5'2" ish.
Favorite subject in school?
In school? Philosophy and Culture classes were probably my favs.
Dream job?
Ah haha. In a dream world, I want to be a little Renaissance Man with a patron who pays all my bills and leaves me to create. Occasionally asking for something specific to which I can bend my mind to, but otherwise allowed to create freely at my own pace. In reality? I don't really have job aspirations since my disability is so bad, but I'd love something just simple like working at a small town grocer or something. (lol, I say in reality as though big chains haven't made the concept of a general store all but nonexistent outside of extremely rural places ... and even then....) When I was in grade 6 we were supposed to like make plans and figure out what we wanted to do with our lives and I thought it was dumb because I was 12 and knew there were jobs out there I'd never even concieved of so how was I to pick right now? So I just said a dumb answer like I wanted to run a convenience store and didn't take it seriously. Though the more I am out in the world the more I think 12 year old me was right. Just a nice mostly quiet job serving my community, dealing with the public and all that entails but not necessarily the same overwhelming level as retail. And not like... in a city. Small town or bust for this dream I think.
So... uh...tagging... uh..... @evilweasel24 , @ravenbara , @rembrandtswife , @localcryptideli , um..um...um... that's all who I can think of to tag in this I am sorry v.v

Hi so I've had the idea of utilizing my Winter break to create a sketchy comic adaptation of a Moomin chapter, just to see if I could do it! Here are the description for each story I added to the poll, as to provide context of each story for you to make an informed decision in case you haven't read these:
Chapter 5 of Moominland Midwinter
Adapted as "Visitors in Winter" in the 90s series (though rather unsuccessfully in scope), it follows the story of Moomintroll trying to manage hosting some guests in the winter after the Lady of the Cold had disrupted their food supplies. In particular, a dog named Sorry-oo wants to join his supposed cousins - the wolves - after practicing his howling, a big Hemulen skiis in and annoys everyone, and a little Creep named Salome is the only one who wants to keep the Hemulen around. However, everyone including Moomintroll is too polite to ask the disruptive Hemulen to leave because of his jolly attitude, how will this fare?
The Hemulen Who Loved Silence (Tales From Moominvalley)
Adapted as "Snufkin and the Fairground" in the 2019 series (though shifts the focus to characters who weren't in the story), it follows a pushover of a Hemulen who worked as a ticket puncher for a noisy pleasure-ground, until a flood swept everything away and he decides to retreat to his grandmother's abandoned park, tired of his noisy life with his family. A group of children have recovered most of the pleasure-ground's attractions, however, and ask the Hemulen to rebuild it for them.
Secret of the Hattifatteners (Tales From Moominvalley)
Very partially adapted/referenced in the 2019 series, Moominpappa gets a case of the old wanderlust and stumbles upon a trio of Hattifatteners, he tries to make polite conversation with them but they don't respond. Undeterred, Moominpappa joins these Hattifatteners on their sailboat and finds out what these mysterious creatures get up to.
Cedric (Tales From Moominvalley)
Roundaboutly adapted as "Mrs. Fillyjonk's Last Hurrah" in the 2019 series, it follows Sniff as he is heartbroken and depressed over giving his prized stuffed animal, Cedric, to a brat due to a conviction of Moomintroll's. Sniff wanders outside and meets up with Snufkin, who tells him a story of his aunt who was on the brink of death and decided to fulfill her bucket list before she kicks the bucket.

MAROON BELLS & MAROON LAKE:
The Maroon Bells area is one of the most visited and hiked scenic areas in the White River National Forest. The picturesque Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak are two of Colorado’s 58 14ers (mountain peaks that exceed 14,000 feet). The Maroon Bells are a challenge to hike in the summer months, even for the most experienced climbers. In the winter, they are best viewed from a distance at Maroon Lake. The crystal-clear lake is accessible by Moon Creek Road. When the weather is good, you can drive up or take the shuttle; in the winter, you’ll need to get creative. Cross-country skiing, snow biking, snowshoeing, or hiking with crampons will get you to Maroon Lake. If you want to ride, the T-Lazy-7 Ranch offers a Maroon Bells snowmobile tour. The 2-hour tour takes you through the breathtaking backwoods scenery of the White River area. Single and tandem snowmobiles are available, and driving instructions are provided.
SHOPPING:
Enjoy a stroll through the downtown area, where you could easily dine, drink, and shop for days. Aspen’s understated elegance is evident everywhere, particularly in the storefronts. The epitome of elegance, the Prada Aspen, is only one of many luxury shops. For amazing deals, stop by The Little Bird, a consignment shop where you can find Gucci, Chanel, and other designer names to fill your closet. For the discerning shopper, Pitkin County Dry Goods carries casual clothing that makes an elegant statement.
VISIT THE ASPEN ART MUSEUM:
Immerse yourself in Aspen’s rich arts and culture scene by strolling through the free Aspen Art Museum, which puts on rotating contemporary art exhibitions. With an exterior finish reminiscent of a woven picnic basket, the 33,000-square-foot, three-story museum building—designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban—is a work of art in its own right. We recommend timing your visit to align with lunch so you can grab a bite at the bright, airy rooftop cafe.
VISIT THE WHEELER OPERA HOUSE:
The stunning 133-year-old Wheeler Opera House—an elaborate, lovingly maintained Victorian-era gem—has a full calendar of comedy shows, dance performances, festivals, concerts, and other events. The Aspen Historical Society also offers guided tours of the iconic building, which has maintained its status as the community’s artistic hub for decades.
HELP OUT THE LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER:
Had to leave your pet at home? The Aspen Animal Shelter has a feel-good solution for you. The for-profit, no-kill organization’s Rent-a-Pet program allows visitors to borrow dogs from two hours to an entire weekend. Not only does it provide exercise and socialization skills; it increases adoption rates. Dogs are paired to match personality and athletic ability. If you’re a cat person, you can volunteer to hang with adoptable felines, as well.
TAKE A MOONLIGHT STROLL:
One of our favorite things to do is walk (or snowshoe!) by moonlight (or headlamp). Try the 21 miles of groomed trails around of Ashcroft, but wherever you go, be sure to let someone know, and take plenty of layers and a map.

rating sims 4 expansions
hey all!!! i’m gonna be rating the sims 4 expansions i have and telling you whether i think they’re worth it! these are in chronological order.
Get To Work
rating: 8.5/10
get to work is def a must have pack for me. i don’t really use the careers like doctor, detective, scientist but the aspect of making your own business offers SO much gameplay and is just a huge blast. i just wish that they had the option of live-in business without mods and aliens left more to be desired. also not a huge magnolia promenade fan, but still love this pack. def one of the best packs to buy as your first.
Get Together
rating: 8/10
this was pretty strong for the second pack ts4 released. there isn’t a huge amount of gameplay here but i do really enjoy the clubs because that way i can create my own friend groups or support groups for sims which adds to story a lot. also one of the best worlds ever and the build/buy is pretty good too. another good one for a first pack.
City Living
rating: 9/10
listen, i think as simmers we can all agree that city living is one of the best packs ever. it’s really unique in terms of living spaces and i think having the option to move your sim to an apartment offers a lot for storylines. the only reason it doesn’t get a 10/10 is because there isn’t a lot of gameplay other than unlocking apartments. for that reason i wouldn’t recommend this as a first or second expansion, but regardless one of my favorites.
Cats & Dogs
rating: 7/10
i love being able to give my sims pets! this was actually one of the more recent packs i got so i haven’t had it for very long, but it’s been fun. i’m not a HUGE fan of the vet career but it can be fun for a little while. the only thing that annoys me about this one is how easy it is to take up household slots with pets.
Seasons
rating: 8/10
seasons has a special place in my heart. it’s one of those packs that’s so integrated into my gameplay that sometimes i forget it’s even an expansion. the build/buy stuff is wonderful and holidays can be such a blast if you’re into that. however, it bothers me that this is an expansion since obviously seasons should have been a base game aspect. despite that i love this pack.
Get Famous
rating: 6.5/10
oh, get famous. this was actually the first pack i ever bought. i enjoyed it a lot at the time but now that i have more i see this as one of the weaker packs. it’s not bad by any means and it was fun as my first pack, but for me it’s just not that memorable now. i feel like i don’t really use fame a lot but that’s just due to my own gameplay style! def offers a lot of storylines but i don’t find myself using it a ton. i wish there were more options for child stars.
Island Living
rating: 8.5/10
i feel like this pack is overlooked a lot! i still have a lot of fun with this one. mermaids are such a cool occult despite there not being a ton of special abilities with them. Sulani is just an awesome world to me!!! summer on sulani is my favorite. who doesn’t love an off the grid beach house? as an avid builder, they’re some of my favorites to make.
Discover University
rating: 7/10
i don’t always have my sims go to uni, but when i do i have a lot of fun with it. building dorms is a blast for me (using cheats, ofc). i also love using the basemental drugs mod with university. this is a fun expansion but def not for everyone. i just wish there were more interactions for teachers/classes instead of the rabbit hole. also secret societies could have been so cool if they’d been more elaborate so that takes my rating down a bit.
Snowy Escape
rating: 5/10
this might be controversial. sorry to anyone that’s a huge fan of this one. skiiing and snowboarding are fun but there’s just not enough gameplay to make this pack worth it to me. the build/buy is pretty cool but i could totally play without this pack to be honest. i see this one as kind of an opposite to island living but it doesn’t match up to the level that island living is on for me.
Cottage Living
rating: 10/10
my all time favorite pack. i think it’s genuinely so fun for my sims to run a farm and Henford-on-Bagley is so quaint. this pack totally lived up to my expectations and exceeded them! it’s not a great first expansion pack but one i would totally recommend it!
High School Years
rating: 7.5/10
This is the last one i have since i’m missing Eco and Growing Together. nostalgia definitely plays a factor in my opinion on this one since it was such a nostalgic time in my life when this came out! i know this pack got a lot of hate (which i feel like is a typical response from the community) but the build/buy is so good and it’s nice to have the option to go to school. i wish the cheer/sports team matches were better though and the default school is so bad. still a fun pack to me and i’m glad i have it since i think it adds a lot for teen sims.
that’s all for now! i’ll update if/when i get the other two (and ofc horse ranch). hope you enjoy!!!

Rory had the dog lover, geek and adventurous trait. She loved matcha cake, alternative and winterfest music. She also almost maxed out her skii-ing skill.
Unfortunately, due to her carrying an alien baby, she did not survive the birth.. ((&yes, I know I created this tragedy..))

Exploring the Value: Is Whistler Heli-Skiing Worth It? - White Grizzly
Whistler, renowned for its world-class skiing and snowboarding, has long been a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts. Among the myriad of options available, heli-skiing stands out as an exhilarating adventure that promises access to untouched powder and breathtaking terrain. But is Whistler heli-skiing truly worth the investment of time and money? Join us as we delve into the experience and value of Whistler heli-skiing, while also exploring the allure of Nelson BC heli-skiing as an alternative option.
Unparalleled Terrain and Scenery: Whistler's vast and varied terrain is a major draw for heli-skiers seeking unforgettable experiences. With expansive alpine bowls, steep chutes, and endless glades, the possibilities are virtually limitless. Heli-skiing in Whistler offers access to terrain that is inaccessible by conventional means, providing skiers and snowboarders with the opportunity to carve through pristine powder in some of the most stunning landscapes on Earth. However, it's essential to note that Nelson, BC heli-skiing offers similarly breathtaking scenery, with its own unique charm and character.
Snow Conditions and Quality: One of the key factors influencing the value of heli-skiing is the quality of the snow. Whistler's coastal location ensures a consistent supply of light, fluffy powder throughout the winter season, creating ideal conditions for skiing and snowboarding. However, Nelson, BC heli-skiing also boasts exceptional snow conditions, with its inland location and high elevation ensuring dry, champagne powder that's renowned among snow sports enthusiasts. Both destinations offer premium snow quality, making them desirable choices for heli-skiing adventures.
Professional Guiding Services: The success and safety of a heli-skiing experience often depend on the expertise of the guiding team. Whistler heli-skiing operations employ experienced guides who possess intimate knowledge of the terrain and weather conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants. Similarly, Nelson, BC heli-skiing operations, including White Grizzly, prioritize safety and guest experience, with seasoned guides leading each excursion and providing valuable insights into the backcountry terrain.
Cost Considerations: While heli-skiing undoubtedly offers an unparalleled experience, it's essential to consider the cost involved. Whistler heli-skiing packages can be relatively expensive, reflecting the premium nature of the destination and the services provided. In contrast, Nelson, BC heli-skiing may offer a more affordable alternative without compromising on the quality of the experience. With White Grizzly, guests can enjoy the thrill of heli-skiing in Nelson's pristine backcountry at a competitive price point, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious adventurers.
Overall Experience and Value: Ultimately, the decision of whether Whistler heli-skiing is worth it depends on individual preferences, priorities, and budget. While Whistler offers unparalleled terrain and amenities, Nelson, BC heli-skiing provides a more intimate and authentic mountain experience, away from the crowds and commercialization. With its rich history and commitment to excellence, White Grizzly ensures that every heli-skiing excursion in Nelson is a memorable and rewarding adventure, offering exceptional value for discerning travelers.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the question of whether Whistler heli-skiing is worth it is subjective and depends on various factors such as terrain preferences, snow conditions, guiding services, cost considerations, and overall experience expectations. While Whistler remains a premier destination for heli-skiing adventures, Nelson, BC heli-skiing offers a compelling alternative with its pristine backcountry terrain, exceptional snow quality, and personalized service. With White Grizzly as your guide, you can embark on an unforgettable heli-skiing journey in Nelson, BC, and discover the true essence of mountain adventure.

Summer destination to visit in 2024
India, a land of diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage, offers a plethora of enchanting summer destinations. Among these, Manali in Himachal Pradesh stands out with its miraculous flora and fauna, providing a haven for nature lovers. Sanctuaries dot the region, inviting exploration of migratory birds in their natural habitat. Thrill-seekers can indulge in various sports at Solang Valley, including paragliding, zorbing, and quad biking, making it an international hotspot for adventure enthusiasts. Notably, Manali holds historical significance as an ancient trade point, traversing Rohtang and Baralacha passes, connecting with Spiti.
The thrill of river rafting and paragliding peaks from April to June and October to March, making it an ideal time to witness the town's glory at 2000 meters above sea level.
Shimla, known as the 'queen of hills,' captivates visitors with its colonial history and stunning beauty. The town boasts various religious sites, offering a glimpse into Indian culture. The Christ Church and the Jhakoo Temple, home to a massive deity of Lord Hanuman, provide architectural and spiritual wonders. Legends abound, including the tale that Lord Hanuman's shoes fell at this sacred spot, adding an intriguing dimension to the experience.
Ladakh, with its breathtaking landscapes, thrilling adventure activities, and Buddhist monasteries, emerges as a must-visit summer destination. The Sun Temple, dedicated to the sun god, adds a spiritual touch to the region. The staple food, Thukpa, a soupy noodle dish, reflects the local culture, with variations catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The months from April to July offer the best weather conditions, with temperatures ranging from 15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
Auli in Uttarakhand, nestled in the Chamoli district, beckons with its natural resources and stunning meadows. The destination is a haven for skiing enthusiasts, featuring glittering slopes and pristine surroundings. Skii resorts in the Himalayan Range enhance the overall experience, making it a favorite among those seeking adventure in the lap of nature.
Nainital, often referred to as the 'Lake District,' is surrounded by seven hills, each contributing to its picturesque charm. The town boasts various temples, including Naina Devi, Hanuman Garhi, Pashan Devi, Mukteshwar, and Kainchi Dham. Mythology weaves into the landscape, with the lake believed to have formed from the eyes of the goddess "Sati" during her journey with Lord Shiva.
Ranikhet, situated in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, earned its name from a local legend involving Raja Sudhardev and Rani Padmini. The town features notable sites like Jhula Devi Temple, Rama Mandir, Chaubatia Gardens, and an Army Museum. The Ranikhet golf course, set against the backdrop of the Himalayas, is one of the highest in Asia, offering golfing enthusiasts a breathtaking experience.
Mount Abu, the sole hill station in Rajasthan, stands out with its Hindu temples, including Adhar Devi, Shri Raghunathji, and Achaleshwar Mahadev. The lush green hills of the Aravalli range create a scenic backdrop, complemented by Nakki Lake, a preferred spot for visitors. The lake holds historical significance, being the place where Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were immersed.
In essence, these summer destinations in India promise a diverse array of experiences, from adrenaline-pumping adventures and cultural immersions to serene landscapes and historical marvels. Whether it's the pristine beauty of nature, the thrill of adventure, or the depth of cultural richness, each destination offers a unique and unforgettable journey for travelers seeking respite during the summer months.
