#365SketchChallenge 156-162/365 - 6/2 - 6/8/18 - Shoulder Nibbles I would have liked to have made this post a smidgen sooner, but I came down with a terrible flu Sunday night and have been bedridden since. I have a bit energy right now, so I’ll share these feelings. This past weekend was absolutely unforgettable, and here’s why... Exactly two years ago, Robbie and I met at the Maryland Faerie Festival by sheer chance through our love of making and sharing music. Shortly after, we fell in love and began making music together as the Sweet Maple Singers. The following year, like an answered prayer, this magickal festival booked us to play! Words cannot even begin to describe how thankful I am to the @mdfaeriefest for inviting us back again to share our songs with all the wonderful human, faerie, elf, wizard, merfolk, and elemental folk alike - all while Robbie and I get to celebrate the anniversary of our union and love. It really is a dream come true. As I walked the labyrinth, I thanked the magical folk of the OtherRealm for helping to guide our souls back together in this life time. After I met Robbie, I finally understood what the love written in folklore and faerie tales is really all about. I love you, Robbie, to the moon and beyond. First reason, Robbie and I have been traveling like crazy! We had our first ten day tour as Sweet Maple Singers this month! Oh my goodness my friends, it was one the most incredible and fulfilling experiences I’ve ever had. Getting to travel and make music with the love of my life has been such a wonderful blessing. Words cannot even describe how wonderfully happy and thankful I am!! However, it was one of the most challenging experiences I’ve ever had as well, which brings me to the second reason this is such a large update: This past month has been a rollercoaster with my health conditions. The good days are incredible - I’m full of energy, clear-headed, and my normal happy personality. I can multi-task, and everything is lighter than air with just a few of my symptoms shinning through during the day which are difficult, but I can manage and stay positive… but the bad days include everything from constant seizures, to chronic fatigue, fevers, migraines, constant intestinal/colon spasms, depression, anxiety, mood swings, crying spells, severe menstrual pain, bloating, digestive distress, weight gain, disorientation, vertigo, brain fog, joint/tendonitis/nerve pain, and listlessness. The past week has been particularly bad. It takes every fiber in my body to simply get out of bed some days, and it takes all my will just act like my normal happy self. It seems to come in waves in which I have a bit of time feeling well or better, and then I back pedal a bit. Three steps forward and two steps back is the healing process while my hormones rebalance from the destructive #MireanaIUD, my immune system regains strength from the devastating #Epstien-barrVirus, and my body detoxes from toxic heavy metals and other toxins.
