as a football fan and a ranchers fan, your footballer au is my bread, butter, water, and every possible sustenance. it’s sooo good, ITS SOO SO GOOD.

just an absolutely ingenious idea with so many fun aspects to rotate in my brain. jimmy searching for clips of his own play where tango’s commentated on him, fist clenched in his own mouth and teeth biting down to stop from just *whimpering* because tango is praising him? saying his footwork is pretty? that HE’s PRETTY?? laughing in that awkward, but self-assured way when a fellow commentator says something positive about jimmy and he just answers with all the confidence in the world, “as expected”?? or or or jimmy does a clever manoeuvre on the pitch and during post match interview tango mentions it, “your little skadoodle there? love it. amazing” and jimmy just about faints right then and there but manages to shyly gasp, “it was inspired by you” and he and tango have a moment where they just stare at each other, mouths a bit parted, cheeks a bit flushed. grian and Joel relentlessly mock him later (“he likes your little skadoodle tim” “yeah I bet you want to give him your little skadoodle”) but jimmy doesn’t care because all he can think about is the way tango had looked staring up at him, the way pulling surprise out of tango felt more like a victory than any of his club matches, that he’ll forever run on the pitch now for tango, hoping tango sees, hoping tango calls him out on it, *praises him* about it — sorry my brain said jimmy praise kink and I blacked out where was this going
