Hi there! I saw your post about Trotsky’s slick, and I’d just like to say: he would never produce as much as Marx or Lenin, due to the immortal science of Marxism Leninism making Omegas significantly more productive during heat, and that’s why they exiled him
Of course, Chairman ‘Slickmaster’ Mao remains undefeated in that department
I think we can definitely say Castro was perpetually in heat so I feel like he might have Mao beat in this regard.

took sivi to the outlet mall today and i’m remembering why i don’t take him out much (borky boy); but my main point is that he got cooed over and admired every ten steps and as we were leaving two older women stopped us to ask about him. they were obsessed. sivi looked up at me like, “what’s the holdup??” and they just lost it. “oh he adores you,” one of them crooned. yes, he does, but right now he’s pissed that i’m talking to you and would like to get a move on.

Imagine op deffending Vaspider of all people on this site like this lmfaooo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
lmao I bet vaspider sent this ask.
hate to break it to anon and this spot antisemitism blog (jumping from 'doesn't like vaspider' to antisemitism is...what the fuck?) but I and many others don't like vaspider for the following reasons: zionism, transmisogyny, misogyny in general, buddies with deranged racists, making stupid 'callouts' (as this ask is doing), and generally being a nuisance on tumblr.
as for why they're being referenced in this specific thread negatively, my post is referring to anticommunist liberals who claim to be leftists. repliers are putting vaspider in this category and/or implying they are frequent comments-section nuisance on political posts as I mentioned above.
for any other concerns contact a sivi failson lawyer.

The whole situation with the "most annoying tumblr user poll" thing is pissing me off a bit.
So they put somewhat popular blogs that get reblogged too often I guess against guy that constantly reblogs from actual nazis, (according to people in the notes, though I don't know who it is)an actual nazi, the child slavery reddit reposter, a pedophile and fuck knows what else, but everyone has mentioned it already because it's just so stupid it almost looks like deliberate ragebait.
But the thing that's the most fucked up is like, the complete disregard. There is no way the OP "couldn't have known" Sivi/tonysopranobignaturals would be negatively affected by being included in the poll. She was very open about her mental health in her blog and it would've taken a quick scroll to realize putting her in a poll that gives strangers a platform to spread rumors about her and judge her behind her back would be extremely fucked up. The OP of the poll said they got some submissions via ask but they never posted any of them so ¿?. And even if one wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt or they went like "heyyy I'm just doing what people tell me, I'm not choosing the participants, I'm just writing what was in the asks", shouldn't you as the organizer like, at the absolute least, run a background check for each "participant" to make sure you don´t accidentally drive harrassment towards someone in a vulnerable state? or idk, ask them about it?
Also it's not like once someone reaches a certain follower count they automatically stop being people, holy fuck.
Also the comment section was a hellpit.
"actually its the ppl complaining abt this poll who r annoyign. let ppl have fun", "actually the nazis in the poll aren't that bad this is the most annoying user poll and the nazis dont really bother me personally". Hey <3 what the actual fuck is wrong with you.

Dream Girl: Chapter 4 - The Way Of the People

Series Masterlist
Chapter 3, Chapter 5
Pairing: Neytiri x female reader

Tumblr media
The Na'vis pushing you begin to slow their pace when you all reached to their village.
The Hometree
It seemed just like as Grace told you. It seemed like 250 meters tall, with a trunk four times the diameter of the largest Sequoia, and a base of massive mangrove-pillars.
"Wow," you breathed out softly.
Walking past the natives, there were all kinds of yips and shouts as they move out of the way, making a clear path for their warriors. The stares were harsh as they spot you, the demons as they shouted in their language, and the Na'vies hiss at the sight of you.
You turned your gaze from them to the Hometree as you were led in. By the light of the cook-fires you can see up into a vast cylindrical gallery a living cathedral.
Clear membranes sturmbeest bladders filled with fluttering bio-luminescent insects, acting as area lighting. The central space was dominated by the skull of some enormous creature, mounted with much embellishment on a totem. Standing in front of this, awaiting their approach, was someone you suspected was the Clan Leader.
The girl you met turned to the Na'vies that were holding you, and hissed at them, "Pot lonu, pot lonu!" Release her, release her!
They did as told, and let go of your arms and hair. She then wrapped her hand around your arm and led you to the Clan Leader. She spoke to him, "Ma sempul, oel ngati kameie." Father, I see you.
You looked between them in surprise, Father? The leader is her father?!
Her father walked around her, studying you before turning to his daughter, "Fìswiräti, ngal pelun molunge fìtseng?" he asked. This creature, why did you bring her here?
"Oel pot tspìmìyang, tsakrr za'u aungia ta Eywa," she said and you frowned. "I was going to kill her, but there was a sign from Eywa."
Her father didn't seem to care for her words, "Poltxe oe, san zene kea uniltìranyu, ke ziva'u fìtseng. Ketepeu fahew akewong." I have said no dreamwalker will come here. Her alien smell fills my nose.
You looked away from him in annoyance while there were some laughs on his last words. "So, I take it I am not welcomed here," you said in a sarcastic tone.
"My father is deciding whether to kill you," the daughter said, looking over at you slightly.
You nodded a little, "Great," you muttered.
You heard a strong voice calling out and you all looked to the side to see a woman Na'vi walking down from the second level. "That is Mother," the daughter explained to you, "She is Tsahik. The one who interprets the will of Eywa."
"Eywa?" you asked softly and her mother circled around you, examining the end of your queue and your tail.
"What are you called?" she asked you in English.
"Y/N Sully," you answered before the Tsahik poked you with a sharp object that had previously been attached to her necklace, before tasting the blood on it.
"Why did you come to us?" she asked.
"I came to learn," you answered.
The Tsahik put her sharp object back to her necklace, "We have tried to teach other Sky People. It is hard to fill a cup which is already full."
"Well, my cup is only half full," you said, "I'm not a scientist."
"No, you're not," the Tsahik agreed, "Y/n Sully. I've heard about you, from Dr. Augustine. A kind heart yet blood of strong warrior."
You frowned of that statement. It seemed that only her daughter, the father and Tsu'tey knew what she was saying in English. Tsu'tey was the only one who seemed annoyed and stepped forward, "Tsamsiyu pak? Pot tsun oe tspivang nìftue." A warrior? I could kill her easily!
The Clan Leader stopped him, "Kehe!" No! He looked at you. "Fìpo lu 'awvea, uniltìranyu-tsamsiyu, a tsole'a ayoengìl. Pori awngaru lu tìkin, a nume nì'ul." This is the first warrior dreamwalker we have seen. We need to learn more about her.
The Tsahik looked at her daughter, "Ma 'ite, awngeyä fya'ori zene nga sänume sivi poru..." My daughter, you will teach her our way. Her daughter looked annoyed as she continued, "...fte tsivun pivlltxe sì tivìran na ayoeng." To speak and walk as we do.
I guess I could use more practice, you thought. "Oeru pelun? Ke lu muiä," she said. Why me? That's not fair.
Her mother held her hand to silent her, "Fkol pole'un fì'ut." It is decided.
She looked away in annoyance, hissing, "Wiya!" Dammit!
The Tsahik looked at you and stepped back closer, "It is decided. My daughter will teach you our ways. Learn well, y/n sully. Then we will see if your insanity can be cured."
You nodded a little, and she walked away with the leader. Her daughter stepped toward you and grabbed your arm, leading you away. "So it’s all good, right?" you asked.
"Do not speak," she said.
Around you, the Na’vies slowly returned to whatever they had been doing before your arrival. There was still a tenseness in the air, though, and you felt dozens of pairs of eyes on your back. You felt like a bug under a microscope, your every move was observed closely.
You let out a soft sigh, "So, can you tell me now your name, or...?"
She led you up the staircase, further into Hometree before turning to you. "Neytiri," she finally answered. Then she turned and continued on before you could say anything.
On the third floor, Neytiri stormed over to a cubby carved into the wall, rifling through what looked like stacks of cloth. She walked back to me with a cloth and a few jewelry. The cloth didn’t look nearly concealing enough to make you comfortable, but you didn’t protest when she shoved it at you.
"Change into these," Neytiri ordered, gesturing to the items she had just handed you. "Soon we will gather for dinner. Until then, I will show you around."
She stood there, arms crossed, expectantly, and it became obvious almost immediately that she expected you to change in front of her.
"Um, is there anywhere I could get some privacy?" you asked.
"Privacy for what?" Neytiri asked, looking now a little confused.
"To change," I replied, holding up the clothes.
"Why must you hide your body?" she asked, "Is there something wrong with it?"
You frowned, blinking, "No..." You glanced down at yourself.
You were pretty sure you looked the same as the other Na’vies and her under your clothes, but you really couldn’t be sure.
You examined the articles of cloth in your hands. There was a loincloth with two pieces of fabric draped over the front and back. You looked back at Neytiri and now realized that the jewelry she gave you was to cover your top.
"So... this is what we, the women, supposed to wear to cover the upper body?" you asked, holding up the odd looking jewelry.
"Yes," she answered simply, and nodded lightly.
You nodded lightly and looked from it to the cloth you were given. You then looked at her, "Can I keep my clothes on?"
"No," she answered simply. "You are to learn our way, you must be dressed like us."
Can I take it back? you wanted to asked but held your tongue.
You really didn’t want to change in front of Neytiri--a stranger. But you reminded yourself that this really wasn’t your body--it had been artificially created.
Plenty of people had seen this body naked: the scientists who created it, the technicians who kept it alive on Earth and on the spaceship, the other trainees in the laboratory where all the Avatars slept in tanks of fluid, unclothed and quiet.
Oh well...
After changing, Neytiri bandaged your arm which you didn't realized had a deep cut on until she pointed it out as you changed. She then led you to the rest of the people.
The entire clan was squatting at dinner in a huge circle. They stopped talking and turned to gaze at you as you walked closer with Neytiri.
Neytiri crossed the circle to the cook pit and returned with several large leaves heaped with food. She kneeled next to you, placing the food in front of you and placed some for herself.
After dinner, on the sleeping areas, families nesting in groups on woven hammocks the size of trampolines. The hunters slept along spokes joining the inner trunk to the tree's outer shell.
Neytiri led you to a hammock near hers, and you were laying awake, listening to people rustling in the darkness around you. By the side of your hammock, Neytiri curled up.
She stared at you for a moment, seemed conflicted for a moment. "Rest now," she said softly so only you could hear. You looked at her and she continued, "Your training with me will start early."
You let out a soft sigh and turned back forward. Neytiri closed her eyes to sleep and you watched the glowing bugs fluttering inside a night light, a pulse of life energy. A strange peace spreaded through you.
You let out a breath quietly and closed your eyes.
You felt a slap on your cheek, and blinked your eyes open. Your vision was blurry for a few seconds until you finally saw Grace, Norm and Max in front of you.
"Come on back, kiddo," Grace said and let out a breath when she saw you responding. "That's it."
You blinked in confusion, realizing you were now back in your human body, laying in your link pod. You frowned and Norm helped you to sit up. Jake was near the link pod, rolling his chair closer when he saw you sitting up.
"Hey," he said, his expression was shown relief by seen you were now back and you were okay. "You're okay."
"I'm okay," you said, nodding, taking a held of his hand.
"Damn, you were dug in like a tick," Grace said, making you look at her and she used her flashlight to check your eyes, "You sure you feeling fine?"
"Yeah," you answered, and she moved the item away.
"Is the avatar safe?" she asked next.
You nodded, "Yeah." You scoffed, smiling with disbelief, "Grace, you are not gonna believe where I am."

I'll be honest. I haven't seen a single "Sivi is (X)" post that cites any source outside of their own word. I'm not saying to disregard media literacy just because of that: What I'm saying is that exclaiming such dire accusations like that with nothing to back you up isn't helpful to whatever cause you're trying to support. And assuming someone does support Sivi as much as you can support someone without it getting parasocial, the next person who shares concerns like this will be significantly less likely to be taken seriously. When Sivi still had her account, she stated in plain text that what bothered her about the poll was the people spreading rumors in its comments about her doing (X) or saying (X) without actually confronting her about it.
Whether she would, I wouldn't know. However, if someone is supposedly willing to learn, I would at the least follow through with directly raising your concern in a reasonable manner with them first. Otherwise, you could risk pushing them farther into isolation. Besides that, there are plenty of people who have gone after Sivi for things such as... not supporting child labor? So I'd be careful with sharing things without a source. There are plenty of people willing to hijack that narrative.
very very good points! That's why I turned off reblogs in that earlier ask because no one followed with any sources, no links, no screenshots (and these can be faked easily too), nothing to prove her being a bigot and so I did not want something like that to spread more. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and but in the end it was just a spineless anon.
What are some of you even doing on the weird people website™️ if you're just going to spend your entire time bullying someone for that. If you find someone annoying, block them. Don't interact with them. You don't need to makeup bullshit to justify your hatred of them. Really acting like a bunch of overgrown children whose parents shouldn't have let them on their electronics for too long.

a fellow language nerd in the Ao3 comments expressed interest in a version with Na'vi dialogue. Now, most of the dialogue in this story was intended to actually be in English (as opposed to "auto-translated" Na'vi), since Jake has only been learning for a few months at this point and is still struggling/tends to revert to English when he can get away with it.
Buuuut the exception is the beginning conversation between Neytiri and Mo'at, which would naturally be in Na'vi. Of course, the vast majority of fic readers are not gonna be Na'vi learners so actually writing it this way in the original chapter would be very impractical, but ask and ye shall receive lol.
Also a quick small note: some of you will probably be thinking, wait, I thought "Jake" in Na'vi was "Tsyeyk"? And you are correct! Na'vi doesn't have a j sound, so the closest they can get is tsy, and a monolingual (forest) Na'vi speaker would pronounce his name like "Tsyeyk". BUT, both Neytiri and Mo'at are canonically bilingual and are able to pronounce it closer to the original English, and I wanted to represent that in the dialogue. At first I was going to do this by just spelling his name the normal English way, but that silent E at the end made case endings look awkward, so in the end I opted for the middle ground Jeyk.
That out of the way, here's that conversion, narrated in the original English but with Na'vi-only dialogue. Afterwards I've also included the direct re-translations of all the Na'vi lines back into English for my fellow language nerds who may be interested in that sort of thing (because it's slightly different than what was originally written in the normal English version).
[...] "Zene oe piveng Jeykur."
Mo'at reached out to grasp her daughter’s wrist.
“Pivey, ma 'ite," she said gently, as Neytiri settled back down curiously. “Srefwa nga pohu plltxe, zene oe mivok kemit alahe.”
“Kemit alahe srak?” Neytiri echoed.
“Srane,” said Mo'at. “Nuä seng a til kilvan lu tsong atìfnunga' utralkip. Krrnekx fwa ne tsateng sop, keng ikranfa…wum mawl trrä. Smon ngar tsatsenge? Lu sìltsana tseng fte stivarsìm pxaya mauti sì rìk. Nìsok nìtstunwi oeti tsasengne zämunge Peyralìl fa ikran sneyä fte tsakem sivi."
"F-fpìl oe tsafya. Oeng ne tsateng twsolayon fa Seze alo ahol, mawkrra slu oe ne tsakarem, kefyak?" A small thorn suddenly peirced Neytiri’s heart. Seze. Her beloved ikran companion had been killed in the battle. She knew she would have the opportunity bond with another someday, but her grief for Seze was still too fresh—she wasn’t ready.
Besides, she realized with a sudden jolt as she glanced breifly back down at her still-normal-looking belly, it would probably be quite some time before she could take on a task as risky as Iknimaya.
It was such a strange thought. Other than the small bouts of nausea, she didn’t really feel any different just yet, physically. She wondered vaguely how long it would be before her condition began to show.
Mo'at’s voice shook her from her thoughts.
"Sran, skxakep oeng tsakem sami. Kä oe nìsok a krr, tsatsengfkeyk mi lu fyole. Lìm nìtam ftu Ayvitrayä Ramunong kuma tsamìl tsat ke tsolun 'ivampi. Fpìl oel futa nga sì muntxatu ngey nivew fivrrfen tsatsenget trro ahol. Menga vrrìn fìtxan taluna tsrayti zeyko kawl; sweylu txo menga syivor nì'it. Kxawm…tsivun ngal fmawnti peng poru tsatsengmì."
Neytiri’s eyes widened and her cheeks warmed as she realized what her mother was suggesting. It was normal for newly-bonded couples to take a few days for themselves following their mating ceremony, away from the clan. She and Jake had never gotten such an opportunity, for obvious reasons.
“'e-'efu nga am'ake?” she stammered, blinking rapidly in surprise. “Mi lu pxaya tìkangkem tsrayfpi. Ke new oe txivìng olo'ti oey krra mi fol oeti kin."
Mo'at grasped her daughter’s hands in her own.
“Ngal kawtut ke txerìng, ma 'ite ayawne,” she crooned lovingly. "Nì'aw tserurokx. Lu ngay fwa mi lu pxaya tìkangkem, slä tìnvir apxa li awnga hasey soli. Ayskxir zosleru, ulte lu frapor nivi lehoan fte hivahaw sì syuve letam fte livu yehakx."
"Slä set lu olo'eyktan Jeyk,” said Neytiri. "Srake ke kin olo'ìl tìeyktanit peyä?"
"Po olo'eyktan lu…slä lu tsahìk oe." Mo'at reminded, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on her daughter’s forehead. "Omatikayaru oe fyawìntxu pxaya zìsìto. Foti tsun oe iveyk trro ahol nì'awtu. Käteng hu ngeyä muntxatu, ma 'ite. Peng poru fmawnit azey. Eywal omum futa kin fìolo'ìl mipa tìreyti mawfwa ngä'än nìftxan! Mi tok fìtsenget ayoel krra menga tätxaw."
Neytiri felt the light sting of tears prick at her eyes as she closed the rest of the distance between herself and her mother in an embrace.
“Irayo, ma Sa'nok,” she mumbled, breath trembling ever-so-slightly.
“Kea tìkin,” Mo'at responded warmly, smiling against her daughter’s braids. For a just a moment she felt water welling up in her own eyes. “Oeti 'eykefu nitram nìtxan fula soaia oengeyä sngerä'i tsawl slivu nìmun, maw sìhan apxay.”
Neytiri let out a small shaky laugh, loose and watery, as she pulled back.
“Srane.” [...]
.
Re-translated lines:
Zene oe piveng Jeykur. I must tell Jake.
Pivey, ma 'ite. Srefwa nga pohu plltxe, zene oe mivok kemit alahe. Wait, daughter. Before you speak with him, I must suggest another action.
Kemit alahe srak? Another action?
Srane. Nuä seng a til kilvan lu tsong atìfnunga' utralkip. Krrnekx fwa ne tsateng sop, keng ikranfa…wum mawl trrä. Yes. Beyond the place where the river bends there is a quiet valley among the trees. To travel there takes time, even by ikran...about half a day.
Smon ngar tsatsenge? Lu sìltsana tseng fte stivarsìm pxaya mauti sì rìk. Are you familiar with that place? It is a good place to gather many fruits and leaves.
Nìsok nìtstunwi oeti tsasengne zämunge Peyralìl fa ikran sneyä fte tsakem sivi. Recently Peyral kindly brought me there on her ikran in order to do so.
F-fpìl oe tsafya. Oeng ne tsateng twsolayon fa Seze alo ahol, mawkrra slu oe ne tsakarem, kefyak? I-I think so. We flew there a few times with Seze, after I became tsakarem, right?
Sran, skxakep oeng tsakem sami. Kä oe nìsok a krr, tsatsengfkeyk mi lu fyole. Yes, we probably did that. When I went recently, the condition of that place was still sublime.
Lìm nìtam ftu Ayvitrayä Ramunong kuma tsamìl tsat ke tsolun 'ivampi. It is far away enough from the Well of Souls that the war could not touch it.
Fpìl oel futa nga sì muntxatu ngey nivew fivrrfen tsatsenget trro ahol. I think that you and your mate may want to visit that place for a few days.
Menga vrrìn fìtxan taluna tsrayti zeyko kawl; sweylu txo menga syivor nì'it. You two have been so busy because of diligently fixing the village; it's best if you relax a little.
Kxawm…tsivun ngal fmawnti peng poru tsatsengmì. Maybe...you could tell him the news there.
'e-'efu nga am'ake? Mi lu pxaya tìkangkem tsrayfpi. Ke new oe txivìng olo'ti oey krra mi fol oeti kin. A-are you sure? There is still much work for the village. I don't want to abandon my clan when they still need me.
Ngal kawtut ke txerìng, ma 'ite ayawne. Nì'aw tserurokx. Lu ngay fwa mi lu pxaya tìkangkem, slä tìnvir apxa li awnga hasey soli. You are not abandoning anyone, beloved daughter. Only resting. It is true that there is much work, but the big tasks we have already completed.
Ayskxir zosleru, ulte lu frapor nivi lehoan fte hivahaw sì syuve letam fte livu yehakx. Wounds are healing, and everyone has a comfortable bed to sleep and enough food to satisfy their hunger.
Slä set lu olo'eyktan Jeyk. Srake ke kin olo'ìl tìeyktanit peyä? But Jake is clan leader now. Does the clan not need his leadership?
Po olo'eyktan lu…slä lu tsahìk oe. Omatikayaru oe fyawìntxu pxaya zìsìto. Foti tsun oe iveyk trro ahol nì'awtu. He is clan leader....but I am tsahìk. I have been guiding the Omatikaya for many years. I can lead them alone for a few days.
Käteng hu ngeyä muntxatu, ma 'ite. Peng poru fmawnit azey. Spend time with your mate, daughter. Tell him the special news.
Eywal omum futa kin fìolo'ìl mipa tìreyti mawfwa ngä'än nìftxan! Mi tok fìtsenget ayoel krra menga tätxaw. Eywa knows that this clan needs new life after suffering so much! We will still be here when you two return.
Irayo, ma Sa'nok. Thank you, Mother.
Kea tìkin. Oeti 'eykefu nitram nìtxan fula soaia oengeyä sngerä'i tsawl slivu nìmun, maw sìhan apxay. No need [to thank]. It makes me very happy that our family is beginning to grow again, after many losses.
Srane. Yes.
It had all happened so fast.
Sitting cross-legged in the tsahìk’s freshly-woven marui, Neytiri found it difficult to believe how different her life had been hardly four months prior. Engaged to her late sister’s beloved. Struggling to fill the role of tsakarem in said sister’s place. Filled with bitterness toward the sky people who had killed her just a few years before…
She’d wanted nothing more to do with those aliens. Nothing more to do with that school. She’d known Grace Augustine since she was very young, almost as long as she could remember, and she’d always been kind, but not even Grace could protect Sylwanin from those nasty metal weapons. Not Sylwanin, not Neytep, not Anuk…
No. She’d been so angry at the sky people, at all of them, even Grace and her scientists, that she’d been ready to shoot that one clumsy dreamwalker on sight the moment she first saw him stumbling through the underbrush.
And yet…so much had happened since then.
Bringing that dreamwalker back to Hometree, at Eywa’s insistence. Her mother forcing her to become his teacher. Teaching him the ways of the Omatikaya, and those of the Na'vi more broadly…annoyed at first, but gradually softening as he actually seemed to take her instruction to heart. He’d been a quick learner, surprisingly humble, endlessly curious like a small child, and about as coordinated as one too, at first. Without even realizing it, as his understanding and abilities grew, so did her affection for him…an affection that must have been mutual, because before she knew it they were mating in the soft glow of Utraya Mokri, unabashedly sealing their bond before Eywa, commiting to each other for life. Neytiri’s face tinged the slightest purple at the memory. It certainly hadn’t come with all the bells and whistles of a normal mating ceremony, but she couldn’t bring herself to regret it.
…but then…the sky people ruined that too, the great metal claws of their crass machines ripping down the sacred trees with careless abandon. They came for Hometree soon after, decimating the village Neytiri had grown up in, and taking several lives with it. Including her father. She’d watched him die there in the rubble. Just like Sylwanin.
She’d been so angry at Jake. He had known about the impending arrival of the sky people and their fire-spitting beasts the whole time. Why hadn’t he told them? Why hadn’t he told her? But…he was a dreamwalker, after all. A sky person’s mind riding a false body. Just like Grace, who couldn’t save Sylwanin. They were all the same. They were always the same—
…yet then he returned to the clan as Toruk Makto, and in that moment Neytiri understood with startling certainty that despite any poor decisions he may have made in the past, he really was on the clan’s side now, he was ready to risk everything for them and for Pandora, and he had the endorsement of Eywa herself.
The relief was enough to make her head spin.
Then came the death of Grace, despite the clan’s valiant effort to save her. Then the great battle in the mountains. Seze’s death. Tsu'tey’s. So many other allies…the survivors saved only by Eywa’s miraculous intervention.
Killing the sky people’s olo'eyktan in his beastly metal machine. Saving Jake’s sky person body, which could not breath the natural air (and, she discovered that day, could not even walk on its own). Sending the surviving sky people back to their own world, save for a few who had sided with the Na'vi.
Recuperating the clans. Building a new village. Tending to battle wounds. Grieving the fallen.
So much had happened.
It had been barely more than four months since Neytiri first aimed her bow at that strange dreamwalker.
It had all been so fast. Like a dream.
And now…
Now…
Neytiri’s trembling fingertips traced a light, shaky pattern across her own abdomen.
A baby.
She was going to have a baby. She and her mate. Her husband, the former dreamwalker.
Maybe I’m still dreaming.

Sivi help they won't stop using the term "religious psychosis" on tiktok
religious psychosis is a thing, but many people don't understand what it actually "looks like" (and fun fact - the more detailed definition of a delusion excludes automatic association with religion). someone experiencing religious psychosis is not simply someone highly dedicated to their religion. I actually made a post in the past on how to differentiate psychosis from behavior that may come across as unrealistic or "odd" to some but is not necessarily delusional (of course I can't find the post with tumblr search).
people definitely misuse the term religious psychosis, especially when referring to religions they're simply unfamiliar with. you bring up tiktok and that reminds me i've talked about this ON tiktok before--unsurprisingly the comments weren't reasonable.
also, an interesting fact: there are studies that show religion can actually have a positive impact on schizophrenia if it results in social acceptance and involves beliefs that are comforting. schizophrenic people in such a situation may hear less violent voices. this is due to what the experience is associated with.
overall it's a case by case situation of course. like, for example, evangelical beliefs of an apocalypse in psychosis can result in family annihilation. a psychotic mass shooter from my area grew up in a christian family that advocated qanon beliefs and I would be unsurprised if this contributed to his violent actions.
i'm not religious but have a belief system associated with "bizarre delusions" that has resulted in suicidal and homicidal ideation. this is my take on the subject.
and no one should make assumptions about strangers regarding religious psychosis. it's not something you can recognize in a few tiktoks. you don't even know if the person is putting on an act--it's a stranger on the internet!
