Mr & Mrs Evans trying being parents to Severus and not understanding when he suddenly stops showing up for dinner over the breaks and summer, not understanding why Lily won't even talk to him. Mr & Mrs Evans trying to make sure he ate at least one meal every day as a child. Mr & Mrs Evans dying and Lily breaking down and reaching out to Severus for the first time in years. Mr & Mrs Evans never knowing how young their daughter is destined to die, never knowing how horribly their other daughter would treat the only peice of her left in the world. Lily & Petunia never got to make up, Petunia never got to grow up and get over her jealousy, her vitriol. Petunia never got to truly know Harry, or her sister, or James. All she ever did was sour. Severus never got to make up with his best friend. He never got to move on from the bullying or heal, all he got was abandonment and death. Isolation.

imagine petunia, only meeting harry after lily is dead, only being able to see james. harry, who has lily's eyes and asks the same questions lily had as a toddler, is not yet 2 and already has the impossible hair of his father, hair petunia remembers from her wedding day- god, how stuck out like a sore thumb, and now, everyday for 15 ½ years she'd have to look at that sore thumb that she blames for lily's death- even if *it* has her eyes, and her laugh, and her smile- the boy is tainted by the world which took her sister, and so she can only lash out. in that, at least, severus and petunia, are the same. that is until, she, her husband, and her son are baing moved out of their house. "for their own safety", but she doesnt believe it- and dudley turns around, and offers harry the first and only words of acceptance he wouldve ever heard from her family and years of feeling lily within her home because of lily's son, her nephew that she hated, that she scapegoated, come up within her and she can do nothing but cry. words evade her, and she can only look at him, and when he stares back, she swears for a moment, its that warm august evening in 1977, and she's in her wedding dress and the last time she will ever speak to Lily, her baby sistser, despite all of Lily's efforts. she could almost be angry, but she just misses her sister and regrets 20 odd years of her life, of her intolerance. she can't fix it now, its been broken too long and her hands wouldn't know how to- never mind her mind, her mouth. harry hates her, just like lily did, she's sure, and everything has come to an end, here and now.

Harry goes to face death, and Petunia goes to face herself for the first time since she was a child, filled up with dread, remorse, and loathing.

In this ad Santa is opening letters from children and finds one from isreal, the letter describes how " hamas has killed a boys mom and sistser and took away his father, and all he wants for Christmas is his dad back "

Ignoring the fact Jews don't celebrate Christmas, targeting this ad directly at a non-isreali audience. This ad is also from the isreali government itself! They are actually making propaganda to make isreal seem innocent and YouTube is promoting it and making me sick!!
