recently i had the opportunity to stay at the most fever dream ass place i have ever been in my life and it was the Margaritaville Hotel and Resort in Times Square and y'all I just.

It's in Times Square. and you may be like 'duh no shit but

you walk in

what immediately greets you is a 10 foot fiberglass flipflop with a fiberglass beer can tab at the bottom

then you take the elevator seven floors up to the lobby because you are, once again, in Times Square where space is at a premium.

there are television screens in the elevator playing beach scenes while yacht rock plays.

at check in, there is a huge shitty quality screenprint of a parrot that looks like it was done in AI with "must be a woman to blame" over its head.

you go up to your floor. all the doors are 'habana' style doors. the colors are deep aqua blue. there's coastal decorations everywhere. it looks like you're at an airbnb in florida or the outer banks

but you are not, you are in times square in new york city, a place where my fingernails turn black with grime after a week

you go into your room. I cannot stress again enough that every single aspect of the design of this room is 'yacht.' the bedside lamps are swinging from sisal rope. it's blue and off-white everywhere.

also in case you forgot it's margaritaville, there are parrots embossed in the bedspread.

but it's white on white kind of embossing because it's Classy

the showers, as my friend kindly pointed out, are definitely meant to be fucked in.

however, at margaritaville, you are not allowed to smoke, be it cigarettes, vapes, or 'other plant material'

jimmy buffett is allowed to wake and bake, you however, are not.

you turn on the tv. you see 'margaritaville tv'. obviously you have to check it out

you immediately see five or six wooden water tanks, and towering buildings all around you, along with the snow and smoke because

you are in new york fucking city

the margaritas are 15 dollars but they are at least strong enough to knock a horse out

anyway, in conclusion, 12/10 experience, absolutely bat shit, highly recommend going ironically

part 1 is @mechtasims' pets set for ts2! i saw a picture recently of @skittlessims' cat nala in a box similar to the one included in this set, and it really just struck me as such a cat thing to do... but the vanilla cats in ts2 don't get to do that! and so, after many hours of fidding in blender (for the first time!) i bring you... 5 pet beds, 3 decorative pet toys, 1 rug, 1 fully-morphed pet dish, and 2 fully functional pet trees! 🎊

if you know me, you know i love my animals (especially my piggies!) so i think it's only fair to include them in this wondrous milestone 💞
