NOLA Trip Part Three: We fished for half a day on Sunday, I hooked up with a nice 30" red but didn't get him to the boat. We were able to capture some of the beauty of costal Louisiana. A cyotee was hanging out on an island, he was the prettiest coyotee I have every seen. Sean admitted to his peeshy tendancies so I captured him coming over his mental blockage. We saw some otters that just did not want to be photographed, those goofballs are fast too! Lastly I hate the Louisiana highways they cracked my transom saver roller! NOLA Trip Part Two: Day two was a very hard day of fishing. We had really bad wind and rain. We lost our trolling motor so we worked on poling near the banks as best we could. We spooked up quite a few fish but just could not get a good shot. Natalie finally casted where we had seen a tail just a few seconds before and hooked up with this nice 36" red. He wasn't the monster we were after but still a great fish and an awesome first Redfish for her. I had a blast with my cousins and grandpa(KK) on the river this weekend. KK showed us all of his spots and spit dip on RC the whole trip. It was a great time and I can't wait to do it again.
