otherlinking is confusing. on one claw, i am a siren. i will kill those who hurt me. i am the rage of the sea and i am the screaming song of the sky. i am vengeance. i am divine, deliciously feminine rage. on the other, i chose to be a siren. yes, i’ve always had a fascination with them. yes, i love to sing.

point is, my affinity towards sirens and my siren-ness makes me not want to refer to myself as sirenlink. i’m not linking anymore, i think. i want to call myself sirenkin. i want to be part of that community. but since my identity was chosen [on some level, at least], i’m more than a little afraid to. would i be mislabeling? treading on their community?

all i know is that i am siren, all the wrath of the heavens and women before me merged into pretty poison, feminine rage, and the moon’s serenity.
