I haven't finished outlining it as I've run out of steam for now. I made the sketch then thought I'd just outline it to make it easy to see and less messy, forgetting how slow I am when drawing. Also idk what Charin looked like as a little kid, so I just shrunk him which I think works for a not at all serious comic.

Gosh I wish I was funny.

the whole inspo on her swimwear (and sunglasses as well) revolves around the artist; Sabrina Carpenter.

the yellow flower accessory in her hair is the (white) Plumeria flower! It grows everywhere back at my previous house and I think it’d be cute as a hair accessory. the real flowers have this sticky sap, so sometimes it’s a bit annoying to collect them HUSHXJJSJYXN

Her striped vest is similar to that of Skully’s! I don’t play TWST JP but I heard a theory that Skully might be a Ramshackle Dorm student, so I decided to give her a matching vest.

That said, I removed her grey vest because it was too similar to Octavinelle’s.

While she has a few bunny motifs (the shoes), she’s actually pretty mouse coded! Siphok reminds me of little desert mice or field mice🫶

⋆˚࿔ trivia 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Her dominant hand is her left hand, but she can be ambidextrous in doing certain tasks.

Nobody in Night Raven College is aware that she is Crowley’s henchman. They just think she’s a teacher’s pet lmao but she takes care of a few “dirty” works that Crowley gives her, in exchange for money. Those dirty works include investigating overblots, investigating (basically spying on) some students, doing things outside of campus hours and/or campus grounds, and even delivering students to his feet (dragging their ass to punishment).

She is also the handyman of NRC because Crowley doesn’t like to call her a janitor.

Siphok doesn’t have magic, so she makes up for her physical strength. She’s strong, agile, and used to do Muay Thai back in her home-world.

I dislike the thought of her being in a vulnerable position, lacking magic and all, so I imagine her martial prowess to be on par with Silver/Sebek. I worry for my girl okay😔☝️

Siphok is pretty selfless, and some might even call her dumb for that, because she would jump into danger without a second thought- whether it be to rescue somebody or not.

She is Jun-Pa’s missing soul that has grown a physical body in a different world.

Siphok lives in a happy family in her world, so not much to say there.

Okay now, I actually have a reason why she doesn’t wear gloves- this goes ALLL the way back to her beta design too!

❥Fun Fact!

Siphok is Crowley’s henchman, and usually does work around the campus. She doesn’t even study at all on some days.

More on the first point, this causes her to fall behind on her studies. But Crowley gives her a free pass.

Siphok’s work on campus includes stacking up library shelves, replacing the campus’s wallpaper, cleaning the roof and the statues of the seven and many more!

She some time serves as a hall monitor to bring students back to class. (She doesn’t really like this job, but she gets it done by chasing the students with a face like 👹)

Crewel is kind of like a father figure to Sippy, and she appreciates him a lot. He helps her after class for extra studies because she sucks at them😭

HOWEVER, she’s really good at Magic History. So that’s a plus!

「 ✦ Who’s Watching Me?! ✦ 」

COMIC UNDER THE CUT (CONTAINS OCTATRIO🫧)!

I have this in my draft for a long time now and only posted it now because of this short comic help😭🙏

I should explain what is happening right? So, this was set when Jun-Pa stole Siphok’s identity against her will. Siphok was trapped in a jar during this time. As you know, Siphok is Jun-Pa’s soul, and Jun-Pa needs her soul back to be able to go into the afterlife and meet her father. When Jun-Pa revealed her true motives to Siphok and asked her to “merge” with Jun-Pa, Siphok politely declined.

I mean, who wouldn’t? Siphok wants to live and be with her friends. Totally valid, right? Well, not to Jun-Pa. Siphok unfortunately couldn’t escaped in time before Jun-Pa trapped her in an ancient jar. Those who go in, can never get out unless they are freed from the outside.

Jun-Pa was only doing this to give her a little scare, but who knew committing fraud can be so difficult?! While they both do look alike, their personalities were quite different. Which is why a few of NRC main casts can tell something was off. Floyd, for one, says that his “shrimpy is not squeezable and too stiff” and also finds her off putting. The beastmen have sensitive noses, and Jun-Pa smells like incense, they are also off-put by her. Leona later on told Jack to keep an eye on “Siphok”.

Ortho can definitely see that “Siphok” has no vital signs (AKA no heartbeat or breathing because, well, Jun-Pa is dead) and was alarmed. Jun-Pa managed to silence Ortho just in time before he made a ruckus.

Storyline aside, the last frame of “Siphok” was supposed to show Jun-Pa’s not-yassified-form. I wasn’t feeling like drawing any gore, so I only gave her some burnt marks. The shattering line across her face was inspired by old Thai mannequins that is kinda creepy. I couldn’t capture the creepiness much here so I do apologize because this was quite rushed😔🙏

I’ve been wanting to draw Sippy in this hairstyle for AGES ARGHRGHGG SHE’S SO CUTE I SOBS😭

Differences between her outfit and Malleus’s is that she has some lace and ruffles going on in her sleeves and collar! Also the golden buttons are shaped like hearts. I don’t know why I went for hearts because it’s not really her trademark or anything but I find it cute!💕

The heart-gargoyle brooch is on her collar!

I tried to make her gem be based on the ore that Malleus gave to Deuce in his lab wear vignette.

Yellow rain boots just because✨ it’s cute and it gives a little flavor to her outfit (I headcanon Vil hates it though lmao I should draw that out sometime-)

I tried to incorporate Malleus’s smug grin and his concerned(?) face based on his 2D model😭🙏I love smug Malleus.

ᯓ★ SOME TRIVIA FOR OUR EX-GENERAL !

Oough I didn’t want to make the comic too long so I didn’t make Lilia explain how he met Mathura. They met when Lilia traveling all over the world, and his status as general had him the honor of meeting Mathura. Why did they do when they met? They drank, sung, partied, and got drunk💀

According to the news reports at the time, it was said that Mathura had sided with the enemy last-minute during a war. Not many details were explained, which made things suspicious, but at that time everyone believed Mathura was a traitor and he got exiled real fast.

Turns out, Anan’s father (or the current king) was corrupted and power hungry. He had been ordering Mathura to conquer the kingdoms nearby using methods Mathura didn’t agree with (which were annihilating those kingdoms who they considered their alliance). When Mathura realized his brother was no longer sensible, he fought with him but ultimately lost- resulting in him being throw away to the deep seas with a nasty scar across his chest.

Mathura lost his kindness after that, and became a grumpy old man we know today!

Anyway, Mathura was named “The Gentle General” because he was merciful to both his enemies and subordinates. He’s usually seen in the med bay, comforting his wounded comrades. They said his touch reminded them of their mother, so they’d call him that when they were delirious from their wounds sometimes.

ᯓ★ OVERALL TRIVIA!

The reason why Suchol dislikes nagas is because he was chased by one of them once😞 It scarred him so much so that it bled into his dislikes of overall snakes and eels of the like. Suchol was chased for a good 3 hours before he made it out of the water using his unique magic. That’s why you don’t go to the deep sea, boy😭

Thought I should say this so the naga that Suchol was chased by isn’t Nham (Mathura’s pet)!

Mathura lost his rose in the battle he fought with his brother, and has been forever agitated with this fact. To replicate the feeling, he forged an earring in the shape of a rose with the young yaksha in mind. It’s considered his emotional support object when he has nightmares.

Mathura cuts and braids his own hair, that’s why it’s always been shaggy. He dislikes his hair being touched in any way. I drew Lilia from memory so he looks wonky as hell😞🙏
