Okay but I loved Minghao in this lmfao The8 version when??
I beta'd this and I wish I had kept my notes because !!! this was a fucking RIDE! Mingyu! Then Wonwoo!! But also the cameos!! Then the switch!! My goodness, PERFECTION!!
Midnight Appetite
Wonwoo x Reader x Mingyu
Summary - You have found yourself in possession of an invite to the exclusive host club The Midnight Appetite. Within moments of walking into the establishment, one of the hosts sinks his claws in, staking his claim on you for the night. It isn’t long, though, before he adds another to your table. This isn’t how you thought your night would go.
Genre - Smut / Host Club AU
Warnings - Smut, a tiny bit of member x member action, slight degradation, name calling, flirting, baiting, virginal fingering, teasing, nipple play, just all the things lol
Word Count - 5k
Tag List - @dontflailmenow @trashlord-007 ~ Hope you like it! <3
Craning your neck you stare up at the skyscraper in awe, the majestic glow of soft blue rays coming from the moon shimmering across glass in a playful dance. It’s bigger than you were expecting.
A man in an immaculate suit adorned with a flat hat opens the door for you and ushers you inside. The interior doesn’t dull in comparison; white lights illuminate modern art and marble floors, with citrus scents guiding the way towards the reception desk.
Flashing the platinum card you had been gifted, the receptionist shoots up from her seat, running around to the front of the desk to escort you back towards the elevators. She continues past four giant steel doors in the main lobby until the building forks. She lets you know she can’t go any further before pointing down the long empty corridor, white walls and bright lights leading the way.
Continuing on by yourself down the lengthy hallway, the lights start to dilute with each step until you reach the end of the corridor where they dull to a practically nonexistent orange hum. There’s a single red button between two elevator doors; you push it and wait.
The lift pings and the first set of doors open. The light inside is blue and reflects off the glass of the elevator walls, the full view of the park behind the skyscraper before you. The elevator is right on the edge of the building.
“Good evening. Can you please hold up your card and ID?” A voice asks from above causing you to jerk back in alarm. Grabbing your lavender Michael Kors handbag from your side, you flick through your items until you clutch your purse. Finding the familiar card, you hold it and the platinum card up above your head. “Thank you and welcome to Midnight Appetite. Enjoy your ride. We’ll be waiting eagerly with bated breath.”

G, H, and Z 🤗
Sinpie 😈 you know how I feel about character death lmfao
G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
I write my fics from start to finish! Sometimes I have some plans I want to loop around to or a kind of direction I want to follow and I make notes lower in the fic so I can tie the story into my original idea... but sometimes it just does its own thing lol. Anyway, the short answer is start to finish.
H: How would you describe your style?
My style... ehhhhh. Dark with a glimmer of beauty. At least that's what I want it to be. Some people have described Jeff VanderMeer's works to be "original and beautiful, maddening and magnificent" and that he "makes the horrific beautiful". That's what I strive for!
Z: Major character death–do you ever write/read it? Is there a character whose death you can’t tolerate?
NO! Lol! I can't stand major character death! I don't want our cute kpopping boys to get hurt. I don't mind if the Reader dies but I can't stand when any idol (even if they aren't the main character) dies. I don't write it, either... at least I can't recall having written it.
Thanks bb ♡

&& of course my all time favourite!!
Beneath The Temple - DBSK's Junsu x Reader 😱🥵😍
Writer Appreciation Game
Rules: Tag your favourite writer(s) and let us know what about their writing you like and if you have an example link it so we can all check it out!
@kpoptrashlord-007 First and most talented ofc!
Tana is a top tier writer who’s a little under appreciated on tumblr. Writes for so many bands and also has an anime side account. She writes more like Stephen King or Anne Rice and maybe that’s why people are sleeping on her. She could literally leave this gig at any moment and become a professional!
Hide & Seek (Hwanwoong x Reader) ~ Yandere is her expertise and this one is my personal favourite. I know that people really love her Taehyung Ring fic but this one is so intense and the world she built for this was beautiful.
An All Night Affair (Bangchan x Reader) ~ Smut. Race car driver Christopher. Need I say more? Literally every smut piece she does is pure gold but this is pick. It’s so erotic. I mean wow. I can just imagine myself there and .. blushing.
@biaswreckingfics
If you love angst this is your writer! Britt knows how to make you feel all the feels. Personally I’m not into having my heart broken before getting it mended in the cutest way - but if you are she has several Exo series that you can check out! Otherwise these are some that don’t include the angst hehe:
Seonghwa Fluff (Seonghwa x Noona Reader) ~ I might be a little biased, I mean Seonghwa, but this is adorable and I love it. It is short and to the point.
Soulmate AU (Mingi x Reader) ~ This is hilarious! I feel like soulmate au’s are overdone and it’s always fun to find something that puts a fun spin on the trope.
@smileysuh
Nova is a multi band writer as well but I think she is probably most known for her NCT Frat, CEO and Cam series- although a lot of other bands join in as well. This writer is on fire, literally! All the smut and it gets quite intense so read at your own discretion ;)
Cam Baby Series ~ PubGMarkT (Mark7 x Reader) ~ I mean wow. It’s hard to pick from just one of the Cam Baby series, and I’ll be honest, I have to go through and read a few of these since I skimmed some of them - my ADHD doesn’t let me sit for long lol - but the cam baby series has longer and shorter options from several different bands so check it out!
Frat Boy Series - Team Captain (Jaehyun x Reader) ~ I haven’t finished this one yet - it’s 14k - but it’s Jeffrey sooo .. I mean wow. I haven’t read a lot from this series yet but judging from the comments she is getting people are loving it and you will too!
@geminirules
Luna writes for a lot of bands but I think the ones I have seen the most are her Seventeen pieces. She likes to try out different things and I love watching her grow as she creates new content.
Valentines Day (Inseong x Reader) ~ SF9?! Yasss. This is so cute and I heart it with everything I have. Please don’t sleep on SF9 and don’t sleep on Luna :)
Icarus (Taeyong x Reader) ~ Yass! This is a Greek mythology au and I love the world building here! This has everything, smut, fluff, resurrection, it’s so interesting .. it is 20k so there is a lot to go over here, I am half way through and I can guarantee this one is well worth the read.
A/N: I almost didn’t do this because I follow so many amazing writers and I didn’t want to leave anyone out! This is just part one - I have so many fics I need to read that and I plan to make another one of these once I get to more of them!
I am only adding a few here - there are soooo many awesome writers on this site! Please don’t feel bad if you didn’t make the list, it just means I haven’t read your stuff yet! This is why I am sending this out - so we can all find new awesome content!
Tagging my writer moots that I need to check out - comment your your favourite piece(s) so I can read them and add it to the next one! (If I missed you and you write let me know)

Another hit from Sinpie! How spoopy 😱 but sexy 😏 Jimin was so cute 🥰 until he wasn't 😨 loved it!!
Hollow Love
Jimin x Fem!Reader
Summary - Deep underground inside a government funded lab you’ve been working on something you shouldn’t. The thirst for creation and control right under your fingertips, you decide the time for human trials is now. The team is hesitant but with funding threatening to run out you refuse to stop until you’ve created the ultimate weapon. You’ve been playing God for too long so it’s only natural your newest experiment is about to backfire.
Genre - Yandere/Horror (Hollow Man AU)
Warnings - Yandere themes, horror themes, animal testing, medical and human experimentation, mentions of past failed experiments, swearing, blood, agression, suggestive, kissing, death (minor characters only), reader is egotistical, etc etc
Word Count - 6.5K
A/N - This is part of the Fear Festival Collab hosted by @taetaecherub. I hope you like it and please check out the other writers' works! <3
Pulling up to the undercover parking lot in your blue 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series I, you greet the guard at the front before swiping your ID card and driving to your assigned spot. One of the lights is dancing against the grey concrete as you make the short walk towards the elevator.
“All the money put into this place and we still have flickering lights,” you muse under your breath. You shake your head as you step into the elevator, swipe your ID card again and press the down button. “Do I have to do everything around here?”
The elevator hums as it starts its journey below. Today is an important day and you won’t let anything or anyone ruin your vibe. The team doesn’t know it yet, but today you plan to start human testing.
The doors ping open, revealing the underground lab while that familiar hospital smell hits you. Chemicals. Unlike the dirty world above you, everything is clean. White. Pristine. No flickering lights down here, only the newest technology and the best team this side of the equator.
Five years of research and testing had finally led you to this moment. Five years and countless dead rats, all a sacrifice to the greater good. You didn’t like harming animals but in the name of science you did what was necessary. In this lab you are God and those who don’t bend to your will pay the price.
But you don’t like to dwell on the mishaps.
Stage two had been quicker, with a bleeding heart vet on your team there wasn’t much room for failure if you wanted to keep the tests going. Not that she could shut you down, no one could, but if you wanted the best you needed to be the best and that’s just what you are.
“Good morning,” one of the techs says as you round the corner towards the operating room. Which one was it? Did it matter? Tech one and tech two did their jobs without complaint and that’s something to be admired.
“Is everything set up?”
“Everything is set up and Chi-Ki is ready to go, we’re just waiting for you.”
The gorilla. They named her. They named them all. You don’t really see the point in names. With so many it's hard to keep track of them all and it tends to clutter your brain. That’s something you don’t need. But you let them have their little wins – it keeps them happy.
“Morning boss."
He walks in with a smile. Jimin. The one who wouldn’t let you forget who he was. Drilling it into your head every day until you finally remembered it. He was not only one of the most promising physicists in his field, but he was also something of a computer genius. It came as no surprise when he asked to join your team last year when there was an opening. An unfortunate accident, one separate from the lab.
You nod and he continues, “You look dazzling today as per usual.”
“Yes, I know,” you offer, walking past him towards the cleaning station. The scalding hot water causes you to wince and pull back as one of the technicians (what the fuck was his name again?) apologises. By the time you're suited up everyone else is already inside the room waiting for you.
Two technicians, one female and one male, stand next to what appears to be an empty hospital bed with a few wires woven across the sheets connecting a heart monitor that’s beating at a regular pace. Thick black straps hover above the operating table, rising and lowering about an inch every two seconds or so.
Jimin hands you a pair of thermal infrared glasses which you slide on to reveal the heat signature of Chi-Ki laying back against the bed, a bed which will soon be used as an operating table. The vet wanted the gorilla to feel at ease, to be comfortable. As long as she does her job you can humour her with the comfort of the beast. Even now she is whispering soothing words of encouragement to the gorilla as the others fawn over it, checking to make sure all its stats are in order.
At this point you were only able to make it to 48 hours before the change had to be reversed. Being invisible had some interesting side effects that needed to be ironed out. The aggression was something you hadn’t expected. The improved motor skills was a pleasant surprise, one that the government would no doubt buy in to. This was your life’s work after all so why shouldn’t you be paid for it accordingly?
If you could just get the side effects to straighten themselves out, you could have the subjects stay in their concealed state a little longer. It would be easier to understand what was happening once you could talk to the subject. You needed to start human testing.
“Hello, this is God speaking,” a voice over the intercom interjects over the fuss of the room, eliciting a snicker from the tech with the long, thick hair. Hair that you had fought with her over. This is a lab, not a beauty school. She secures it to the nape of her neck when she notices your stare.
The mousy scientist in the glass box overseeing the operation room above you likes to make his opinion on what you’re doing here known on a daily basis, starting up with his nonsense once more, “Since this is kind of my domain as, you know, God, I feel it’s my responsibility to remind you yet again that this is not the natural order of things.”
“How many times do I have to tell you? I’m God, not you.” Ignoring the silence in the room you slide off your glasses, tossing them towards Jimin who catches them midair, before gesturing towards the bed. “Let’s hurry up and make sure it works. Get us a vein.”
The vet ties a tourniquet around an empty space which you assume is the gorilla's arm while the female tech hands her a bottle of spray paint (animal friendly of course) which she sprays across the animal’s arm. Purple paint glistens, hovering above the empty bed as she smacks the spot below it a few times to reveal a plump vein.
“Vein’s prepped.”
The male tech secures the neon orange substance to the thick needle, pulling back on the apparatus to push the serum into the waiting slot. He moves towards the gorilla before you clear your throat. Lips pursed and brow raised, you hold out your hand. He relents, handing you the serum with a tight smile. Holding the needle with two hands, you inject the liquid into the gorilla's vein with minimal resistance.
“Injection occurred at zero eight forty-seven,” Jimin notates behind you as you untie the tourniquet and step back to watch the neon substance travel up towards the heart before pumping out towards the other veins inside the creature's body.
“Elevated heartbeat,” the vet says as the anxious animal's nervous system hovers above the bed, continuing to spread out across the expanse of the gorilla's body.
“Bioelectric energy and quantum shift indicators are stable,” the mouse man adds from above as the spine becomes visible quickly followed by the brain stem and then the brain itself.
“It’s working – it’s actually working.”
“Of course it is.”
The gorilla roars, interrupting your triumph.
“Heart rates up. She’s scared,” the vet says as the monitor spits out high-pitched tones. “It’s okay, baby.”
“Subject began manifesting almost immediately, protocols acting quickly,” you say as muscles start forming all while the monitors chirp in the background.
“Blood pressure is crashing! Her pulse is high.” The gorilla growls, rocking back and forth in an attempt to break free from her constraints, the previous sedative wearing off due to the pain. The troubled sounds are familiar, yet still cause your flesh to break out in goosebumps as the beast increases the intensity of her cries. “It’s her heart.”
“I got an erratic heartbeat,” the mouse adds as if the whole team down here can’t already hear the monitors freaking out. “Activities going through the roof.”
“She’s going into cardiac arrest!"
“Get the defib!” The techs grab the defibrillator as the ribs start to curl around the gorilla's body.
“Flat line! We’re losing her.”
“No we’re not,” you say softly. “Hit her!”
Sliding gel across the paddles, one of the techs yells out, “Clear!”
A heartbeat flashes across the monitor before it flatlines once more. “Again.”
“Clear!”
The muscles are now almost completely formed as you yell, “Again!”
“Wait! No, we got it,” the vet says pushing the team back with the side of her arm. The heartbeat flickers back on the monitor as the team surveys the scene. “Still erratic… but… it’s stabilising!”
The techs smile at each other as skin and fur start to spread across the gorilla who sighs, resting back against the bed. It worked.
Of course it did.
“Brain activity returning to normal,” the mouse says from his little glass room above you. “Quantum signatures are stable.”
“Welcome back, Chi-Ki,” Jimin says, beaming over at you as the rest of the team erupts out in cheers. “You did it.”
“Of course I did. I don’t know how to lose.”
Later that day while sipping on a cup of last night's leftover coffee for a much needed pick me up, you look over the data when you hear the echoing tap of footfalls from down the corridor. It’s Jimin.
“Thirsty?”
“Obviously,” you say between sips, not bothering to look up from the paperwork. “Why would I drink this putrid shit if it wasn’t an emergency?”
“You need to get out more. We could go grab something to eat?”
That gets your attention. You glance over at him – he’s grinning from ear to ear, all teeth and cheeks. It’s almost infectious. Almost.
“I don’t–"
Before you can finish you’re interrupted by the boisterous chatter of the rest of the team walking into the room. They congratulate you as they all file in with a bottle of wine in hand.
“Come on, boss. You can’t celebrate with that,” one of the techs says pointing towards your drink.
“We should go out but we know you wouldn’t want to so we brought the celebration to you.”
“Celebrate?” You toss the paperwork onto the table and stand up, your hands slamming down against the cool surface as you stare across the room at the others. “Exactly what is there to celebrate?” The techs exchange glances, one of them slides the wine into the fridge. “We need to move onto stage three.”
“Stage three?”
“Yes, we need to start human trials.”
“Isn’t that a bit fast?”
“I want to know what it’s like. I need to know. I have to know how it feels,” you say, holding your hands up. Brushing your thumbs against your fingers you wonder if it will feel the same once you’re invisible. Will everything feel the same? It’s been nagging at the back of your mind since you started stage one.
“You want to be the subject?” The mousy one narrows his eyes, shaking his head as he motions to the tech beside him. “A little help here?”
“What, are you a guinea pig?” the tech jokes.
“If I’m the ‘guinea pig’, as you so eloquently put it, you can blame anything that goes wrong on me,” you answer with a shrug.
“Moving this fast is bad science no matter who the guinea pig is,” Jimin says. “This is ridiculous and I won’t let you do it.”
“Let me?” you ask, raising your brow and squaring your shoulders as you take a step towards him. “And how do you plan to stop me?”
“You think I can’t?” He matches your stance leaning close. “Go ahead and try me.”
“You don’t think I can’t replace you in an instant?”
“I’ll not so easily be replaced,” he says, a look of determination you’ve seen many times flashing across his eyes and settling into his stance as he leans in closer. “Just try and get rid of me, boss. See what happens.”
“Come on guys, let’s not fight,” the mouse says as the male tech places his arm between you and Jimin, breaking the moment of defiance.
“I want to start right away,” you begin before the room erupts into a chaos of indistinguishable words and incoherent sounds. Raising your voice, you continue, “And I don’t need anyone's permission. In fact, I don’t need anyone to help me, but I would appreciate it if you did.”
“There’s no way anyone is agreeing to this.”
“I mean, Jimin, can we really stop her?” the mouse asks.
“It’s better to have people in the room with her if she’s going to act crazy like this,” the female tech adds, her hair feathered out across her shoulders.
“I don’t think this is a good idea.” The vet bites her lip looking at each of the people in the room before continuing, “but it will be dangerous to do it alone.”
“Are you serious?” Jimin asks, his fists clenched. “Or are you all fucking stupid? Wasn’t it you Doc who brought up how aggressive Chi-Ki became the longer she was invisible? And what about Cotton? Remember what he did to you?"
“That wasn’t his fault!” the vet hollers the words before catching herself. “I mean, he’s just an animal.”
“I’m not putting this on them. I know he didn’t mean it, Doc. It’s not the animals – it’s the serum. Doesn’t anyone see an issue here? Am I the only sane person left on this God forsaken team?” Jimin looks around the room incredulously. “Are you really going to let this happen?”
“No, we–”
“Then we’ll just have to make sure you bring me back before I get to that point,” you say, standing up. “I’ve looked over the data and it checks out. I want to start human trials and I want to start them tonight.”
Ignoring Jimin’s protests, you lead the team back to the operation room, yelling out orders over your shoulder as excitement starts to trickle across your skin. It’s about to happen. After five years of watching lower beasts disappear and reappear you can finally try it out yourself. You are about to do something that no one else in the vast history of humankind has ever even attempted before. You are about to become immortal. Everyone will know your name, you will live on forever through this one act. You will become the first and everyone always remembers their first.
One of the techs grabs the vial with the blue serum and connects it to the needle with a sigh before turning towards you as the other tech starts to strap you in. Jimin pushes her out of the way, quickly unbuckling the strap before loosening his own tie. He starts unbuttoning his shirt and says, “I’ll do it. Let me do it.”
“What?”
“It’s ridiculous to have you test it.” He holds up a hand before continuing, “What if something goes wrong? We need you to make sure it works first, then you can try it.”
“It’s not about trying it,” you mutter as he pulls you up, his fingers lingering against your wrist for a moment before he slips off his undershirt and jumps up on the operating chair. It’s a hideous shade of brown, something akin to what you might have found in an old decrepit school lost to the past. All the other ‘operating tables’ (call a spade a spade, they were beds, of the finest quality) were being used by other subjects. “Are you sure about this? What if something goes wrong?”
“Don’t jinx me, boss,” he says with a grin as he wriggles out of his pants with a wink. “Don’t get shy on me now. Strap me in.”
Once he’s secured, the vet gets his vein ready and the serum is handed to you. You look around the room, everyone is silent. They’re waiting on you. Jimin gives you a nod.
You inject the serum.
“Injection administered at nineteen twenty-three. Feel anything?”
“No. Nothing.”
“Vitals are stable.”
“Recheck the–”
The heart monitor picks up in pace as Jimin arches in pain, a grimace across his face. “I was hoping it wouldn't hurt this much,” he hisses through clenched teeth.
Gasping, your mouth falls open. You’ve seen it before–albeit on animals, not on a human–but it still leaves you bewildered. It’s breathtaking. Flawless skin peeling back to reveal muscle. No, not peeling. Disappearing, as if ceasing to exist. You’ve never really looked at Jimin before, not enough to notice just how perfect his skin truly is. It’s almost a shame.
“Brainwaves are spiking"—the voice of doom from above pulls you out of your thoughts—"on the verge of seizure.”
“Pulse is climbing. 165. 170.”
“Blood pressure is 180 over 110,” the vet says, looking over her shoulder at you with narrowed eyes as if this is somehow all your fault. “He’s gonna blow out his heart.”
“Grab the paddles,” you order, your fingers sliding across the skin of Jimin’s arm which is now completely transparent, the muscles beneath on vivid display. He groans, tossing his head back and forth, his features scrunching up.
“Bioelectric in the red,” the voice of doom is back but you hardly notice, instead your attention is on the way your hands dance across firm flesh that doesn’t appear to be there. You can feel his arm under your fingertips but as the muscles start to fade away there’s less space between what you can feel and what you can see.
“Pulse is 180 and holding,” the vet says.
You look back up to Jimin's face and realise he’s stopped thrashing about, his eyes (or rather his eyeballs which are hovering in the air as his facial muscles pull back, leaving a clear view of the nerves around them) are facing you. Still and quiet, he’s calm as you share a knowing look:
You’re making history. You’re changing the world.
“Pulse is dropping. 170. 160. 150. All vitals are dropping back to normal.” Interlocking your fingers with Jimin's, a small smile tugs at the corner of your lips as you let yourself get swept up in the utter insanity of the moment. Who else can say they’ve felt what you’re feeling right now? “Pulse is 110. Blood pressure 130 over 75.”
“Quantum readings normal. Electrical activity is stabilising.”
“You’re the first, Jimin,” you whisper, trying to ignore that nagging feeling of envy gurgling deep within and instead start to loosen the constraints on his wrists. “What does it feel like?”
“It’s nice,” he mutters. After a few moments of silence you realise he’s passed out. Clicking your tongue you give him a pat on his arm. It’s okay for now, you’ll let him rest – he’s been through a lot. You have plenty of time to ask questions when he wakes up.
“We did it!” one of the techs says, his hand held up waiting for you to reciprocate. The sound of skin on skin is followed by a gasp from behind. Turning, you’re accosted by the rest of the team, even Mouse has come down from his room to congratulate you. They stare at you, their eyes fluttering from you to the tech before they continue with their conversations.
“I can’t believe it actually worked,” the vet says, hooking up fluids to Jimin as Mouse throws a blanket over him. “It was touch and go there for a minute, wasn’t it?”
“Yes,” you agree, watching the way the soft material raises and lowers as if something is under it, and you know there is. Each inhale lifts the blanket before it drops back with each exhale. It’s hypnotic.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Later that night you’re woken by an animalistic wail and the sound of shattered glass as you snap up from the table you were slumped over. One of the animals? But they’re so far away. No. Not one of them.
“Jimin?” You press the call button to allow your voice to travel the small distance to the next room over separated by a thick plexiglass. He was moved to the observation room after a few hours of solid rest. You must have fallen asleep while you were keeping an eye over him. "Was that you?”
Now where did you put the infrared glasses?
“My eyelids. They’re transparent. I can’t close them.”
“Oh.” Because of course they are. Why hadn’t you thought of that? Obviously they are. You dim the lights in his room to the lowest setting before digging into your bag and pulling out a pair of sunglasses. You jog over to the door. Opening it, the hinges let out a wispy creak as you hold them out. “Try this.”
A shadow walks towards you and you almost yell out before you realise it’s Jimin. Well, the blanket wrapped around his shoulders. His fingers are cold as they swoop the glasses out of your hand before sliding them onto his head. They hover and you can’t help but smile at the ridiculousness of the image.
“What?”
“It’s just… there’s nothing. They’re floating.”
“I’m still here you know,” he says, his voice low as he walks over to the mirror. It’s too dark to see much so you turn on the light from your phone to illuminate the room. “Huh.”
“It’s weird, right?” you ask and he starts to laugh, the chequered blanket shaking as he does so. “We’ll get used to it.”
“I hope not,” he says, walking back towards the doorway. “I don’t plan to stay like this for long.”
“Right. Of course.” He drops the blanket and glasses with a chuckle. “Jimin?” Backing out of the room, you turn your head towards what sounds like breathing before snapping your head towards a chuckle. “This isn’t funny.”
Something grazes the small of your back but by the time you turn, you hear him whistling from the space you had just been looking at. Clenching your fists, you turn again and stick your hands out in front of you. You spin a few times, arms splayed but feel nothing.
“Where are you?”
“I’m behind you,” he whispers next to your ear but when you reach out he’s already moved. “You’re so cute when you’re angry.”
“I’m not angry,” you pant, slicing out your hands in a feeble attempt to catch him. When he tuts, you continue, “I’m not. I’m frustrated. There’s a difference.”
“Then I guess you’re cute when you’re frustrated,” he says, his fingers sliding up your arm. This time when you reach out for him your fingers clasp around his wrist.
“Got you!”
“Yeah, I guess you do,” he whispers, his lips brushing up against your neck.
Lifting your arm, your fingers brush back against his silky hair as his arms circle your chest. Frowning, you try to remember what colour his hair is before you’re lifted up. A surprised gasp exits your lips as your legs dangle under you. Was Jimin always this strong? Is this a side effect?
“We need to run tests. We–"
The words are cut off by his lips on yours. It’s otherworldly. Like kissing a ghost, only this ghost is still very much alive. When your eyes flicker open you see nothing, only the other side of the hall, a white wall with nothing adorning it except for the fire extinguisher a few metres to your left.
Is it because you can’t see him? The kiss itself is electric, your whole body feels like it’s on fire as your back slams against the wall, your leg curling around his waist as you lean into the kiss, deepening it. His fingers snake inside your blouse, his fingers dancing across your skin as you arch back with a moan.
“What’s going on?” It’s the vet.
“Nothing.” You push back against Jimin and straighten your blouse, tucking it back into your skirt.
“I don’t think it’s advisable to do anything that might get Jimin’s heart rate up until we run a few more tests.”
“Of course,” you respond with a tight smile. Ignoring the heat flooding across your cheeks you motion towards the doorway. “We also need to dim the lights throughout the facility. Can you have someone do that?”
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
“Nothing’s happening. Why isn’t it working?”
After hours of testing, questionnaires and experiments, you were back in the operation room. The same formula that worked to bring Chi-Ki back from her bout of invisibility had brought Jimin what he described as liquid lava running across his skin and an outline of what looked like bone fragments scattered across the operating table before disappearing as quickly as it had appeared.
“I don’t know. It’s probably a flaw in the biological makeup between the two species. It must not be as simple as we thought it would be.”
“Then why did it work in the first place?” you groan, bent over the data from the previous successes. “What was different from the initial serum compared to this one?”
“This is why I didn’t want you to do this on yourself." The floating sunglasses are now accompanied with a pair of baby blue scrubs.
“We shouldn’t have tried it on anyone. It wasn’t ready for human testing.”
“Well, actually, it did work…”
“It only works if we can get the subject back from their invisible state,” you say, rubbing your eyes before stretching out your neck.
“Subject?” The sombre word is muttered. You ignore it, that and the look the vet sends your way as you continue to scour the data. There’s something you missed. You need to figure it out.
“Well, we better figure it out quickly. I think it was irresponsible not to talk about the possible side effects before we went ahead with this,” the vet says, pushing her chair back to stand. She walks over to the small fridge on the other side of the room and fishes out a beer. The clink of the can as she opens it has you salivating. “The other ‘subjects’ showed obvious signs of aggression when kept in this form for too long. We don’t have long if we want–"
“Thank you, Doc. I appreciate the obvious observation that I’m sure everyone in the room is currently worried about. Why don’t you stick to looking after the animals and leave the science to the scientists?” The room is silent. Raising a brow, you dare her to say something else. When she shrugs and offers a taut smile, you continue to the rest of the team, “Go on then. We don’t have time to waste. Go figure it out.”
One by one they stand and start to file out of the room until you’re alone. Maybe. If the abandoned scrubs on the ground are anything to go by. Sighing, you lean across the table for the infrared glasses. Before you can put them on you feel fingers massaging your shoulders.
“I didn’t take you for someone who would enjoy being sans clothes as much as you seem to.”
“It’s fun. I can be anywhere and no one knows. It’s exhilarating.”
“I bet.”
“No need to stress out on my behalf,” Jimin says as his thumbs dig into your tight neck muscles. You wince. “It’s not that bad really. Don’t worry about me – I’m still feeling fine.”
“I’m glad you are fine, Jimin, but I’m not actually worried about you,” you say, shrugging your shoulders to get him to stop. “I’m worried about the experiment. I’m anxious to get this to work. I hate that it isn’t working.”
“Oh.”
“I feel like a fool. I don’t know what I’ve missed but it’s really fucking annoying. You know?” Jimin hums an affirmation. “I need to be alone. I need to figure this out. Those idiots won’t be able to do this themselves. It’s something I need to figure out on my own. Can you go?”
“Sure. Yeah,” he says, his voice small. As he walks out the door you hear him mutter something about being a scientist as well. It’s not a problem you need to think about right now. The data isn’t helping. Something is wrong. Something isn’t right.
“Fuck!” What is it? What did you do wrong? Throwing the paperwork across the table you let it scatter across the floor and start to pace around the room. A cough interrupts your thoughts. “What now, Jimin–”
“Not Jimin,” one of the techs says with a shrug. He’s holding an iced coffee. How long had you been stuck in an endless loop of staring at data with nothing to show for it? The coffee shop is close to the lab but still. As if you’re trying to hold water with your hands, it’s slipping through your fingers, time is passing you by. “I thought you might need one of these.”
“Oh God, yes,” you say, jogging over to him. The cold liquid is like a drug; with just one sip you can feel it pumping through your veins, bringing you back to life. “You’re a lifesaver.”
“I figured it’s the least I can do,” he says, with a lopsided smile. “I mean it’s not like Jimin could go get it in his state.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, we wouldn’t want to raise any questions with the way he looks,” he says, with a chuckle. When your frown deepens, he continues. “Well, Jimin usually gets you your coffee.”
“Does he?” Now that you think about it, it does feel like something he does. “Yeah, right. Wouldn’t want to scare anyone up there. Can you imagine?”
“It would be hilarious.”
“It would though, wouldn’t it?” Imagining the shocked faces as Jimin tries to order an iced coffee has you cracking up. The male tech quickly joins in.
“Well, I guess I better leave you to it…” His words fade away as he looks back over his shoulder down at his hand which you have encircled with your own. “Is something wrong?”
“I just wanted to see what it felt like. It’s been awhile,” you say, pulling your hand back. “I wanted to test something. I wanted to see if it was so very different from someone who’s invisible.”
“Invisible? Oh.” He turns back, a smile pulling at the edge of his mouth. “And just what did you do with said invisible individual?”
“Nothing.”
“Nothing?”
“Not much,” you say sipping on your iced coffee, the condensation starting to trickle down your fingers.
“Like this?” He holds up his hand and you take the cue to interlock your fingers together. “Does it feel different?”
“It feels cold. But it’s probably because of the drink.” He nods in agreement as he places your coffee down on the table.
“What else?”
“Hmm? Oh, just this,” you say sliding your fingers through his hair, your face mere inches from his. Right as you’re about to pull back you hear what sounds like a metal platter fall to the ground. You both rush out into the hall but there’s nothing there except a steel table that’s toppled over. “That’s weird.”
The tech puts on a pair of infrared glasses and looks up and down the hall before shaking his head. “He’s not here.”
“Well, I’m sure it didn’t fall by itself.”
As you're putting it back to its original position you hear a scream from further within the lab. The tech looks at you for a moment before running in the direction of the yell. You follow. As you round the corner you see the other tech on the ground, she’s holding her left elbow.
“What happened?”
“Jimin pushed me.”
“How do you know it was Jimin?” the male tech asks.
“Who else? Someone came through here muttering under their breath and when I turned to see who it was I was pushed aside. I slammed my elbow against the wall. There was no one there. It had to be him,” she says as the vet and Mouse come running over.
As she explains what happened you grab the infrared glasses from the male tech. Looking around you count the heat spots. Tech one. Tech two. Mouse. Vet. And someone else.
“Let’s get her to the medical bay,” you say, as you take the glasses off. You point towards the mouse and the tech. “And you two go and see if you can find Jimin.”
As the others disappear down the hall, you pull the glasses back on. He’s still here.
“Are you two together?”
“What makes you think what?”
“How long have you been fucking him?” Jimin’s voice is laced with venom.
“Does it matter if I had?”
“You belong to me.”
“No, I don’t. You think I owe you something? I don’t owe you anything.” You start to turn but fingers dig into the flesh of your arm, stopping you in your tracks. “Let me go.”
“You think I’ll let you run off to your boyfriend like a little whore?” His grip tightens and you wince, pushing back against his chest as you try to dislodge him.
“As if I would. I’m not interested in him anymore than I’m interested in you. You’re both beneath me!”
“You ungrateful bitch,” he says, lifting you up and tossing you like you're a frisbee. You crash against the other side of the hall with a crunch before crying out as pain radiates out from your hip. A hand pats your hair before gripping the side of your head and smacking you back against the wall. Your brain rattles inside your head as he cracks the back of your head against the cold ground again. As your vision blurs he says, “Shh. Hush baby. I’m doing this for us. This is how much I love you.”
Once more blow against the wall and everything fades to black.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Pain. No, not pain, agony. Agony wakes you. Blood drips down the back of your head as a musical of misery spasms within your brain. Reaching out towards the wall you push yourself up as your head pounds insistent and consistent, a song that’s offkey. Swaying on your feet you stick to the wall as you make your way down towards the medical bay.
The lights are buzzing and the hallway is spinning, but it’s empty. At least as far as you can tell. You edge along the corridor until you see the plaque that reads Medical. Pushing the door ajar you slump to the ground and ease yourself inside. Why is your body so heavy?
“Hello?” The word is foreign-sounding, as if it came from far away, from someone else. Coughing, you say it again as you crawl along the ground until your fingers feel something slick under them. Frowning as you inspect the maroon substance, you pull your fingers close to your face. Copper. It’s blood.
Taking a deep breath you try to clear your head as you look further into the room. There’s a puddle of blood in the middle of the room next to what you assume was tech one. Her long hair is matted crimson, her face unrecognisable, concaved into itself. As you climb up the wall you notice the vet on the far side of the room, her face is stretched out in supernatural proportions, pulled into an eternal howl of despair. Like the painting. Forever screaming.
There’s no point trying to see if the others are still alive. You don’t really care if they are or not anyway. If it’s fight or flight, you will always choose flight. You won’t be stuck like some stupid horror movie herione left to fight the villain by yourself as the people around you are picked off one by one.
Using the walls for support you fumble your way back towards the main hall. The elevator is within view when you hear footsteps coming from behind you. Looking back you see nothing and scold yourself for not remembering the infrared glasses. Tears well up in your eyes both from pain and stress. You need to make a run for it.
Searing pain slices up your side from your hip as you hobble down the hall as fast as you’re able towards the elevator, your heart beating erratic inside your head, adding to the song of agony now on repeat. Each step is torture. Each step brings you that much closer. You dare not look behind you. You wouldn’t see anything even if you did. He’s back there, you just can’t see him.
Pressing the down button, you stain it red. It pings open. You lunge into the elevator with an anxious squawk as you slam your fingers against the close button. Panting, you press it repeatedly as you gulp down air. There’s not enough oxygen; you can’t breathe. The box starts to tick and you clench your fists into tight balls as the doors ease closed.
Swallowing hard you look around the lift, your heart still racing. You strike your arms back and forth in the small space before a wave of relief settles into your bones. He’s not here. You’re safe. You’re okay. You’ve made it out.
“Access denied.”
“Excuse me?” The words are starting to sound more like your own. You push the up button again.
“Access denied.”
“The fuck? I’m your boss, you stupid machine!”
The elevator doors open. It’s empty, but you know he’s there.
“Jimin?”
“Where are you trying to go, my love?” He’s messed with the access somehow. It should read your fingerprints or retina. He’s done something. “I’ll take you anywhere you need to go. I’ll take care of you. You don’t have to worry about anything anymore.”
With each word his voice gets closer. Hopping back in an attempt to get away you end up wedged against the back of the elevator. “Jimin. I just want to go home. Please. I just want to rest and go home.”
“But baby,” he whispers, his lips nuzzled up against your temple, “You are home.”

"Think of it as an invitation. An invitation set up just for you."
Yoooooooo I forgot how much I liked this one!! He's so hot hajsjd
Satanic - 2:56am
Bang Chan x GN!Reader
Genre - Yandere
A/N -
Happy birthday Christopher!
KPOP Masterlist
You shouldn’t be here.
The darkness is suffocating, wrapping its claws around your ankles as if trying to drag you down so you’ll never see the light again. The snapping and crunching from beneath your shoes still isn’t as loud as your heartbeat as you scurry further into the wooded area you are sure you are now lost in.
It feels like you have been wandering around this misshapen tree for hours. The way it leans against the others seems to say that it has no energy left to give. It looks the way you are starting to feel so you slide under its branches to recuperate. Leaning your head back, you let out a long sigh as tears sting the corners of your eyes. You refuse to cry. You refuse to let this be the end.

I LOVE THIS FIC 😭😭😭
OH BAEKS, TOOT TOOT!
TOOT! TOOT!! 😭🙌💕
The Café
Baekhyun x GN!Reader
Word Count - 1.5k
Genre - Fluff, Friends To Lovers
Summary -
Baekhyun has to deal with the popular cafe around the corner while you deal with your horrible boss. You have a connection to each other that is magnetic.
A/N -
Happy Holidays to @kabira (and @exolssecretsanta who put this amazing idea together) it’s your Secret Santa 🥰 (main account is @sinpiesinpie). It has been so fun getting to know you and I am excited to finally share this with you :)
Hope you like it !!
KPOP Masterlist
His eyes are tired but his smile is warm.
You walk into the small café and end up wedged between a line of people waiting for to-go orders. You feel like a sardine. He’s the only one at the counter - the last part-timer having scurried off to work at the bigger café around the corner, leaving him to run the place by himself.
The ‘other’ café (as you have taken to calling it) relies on cheap tricks and thrills to bring in their customers and although their product doesn’t taste as good, it is less expensive. They have mass production on their side and everyone is looking to shave a few pennies.
Baekhyun’s café may not be here much longer.

Oof!! Here we go!!
First and foremost.. WHO THE FUCK SAID YOU COULD WRITE YUTA THIS WELL?? I WANT TO SMASH AND THAT ISN'T SOMETHING I USUALLY FEEL FOR HIM SMFH you really outdid yourself with this one 😭💕
Our Scorpio King was well represented here!!
"How is he making you this hot? This wet?" - I want to know too, Reader!! How the hecking?! This is so well-done 😭
“'But that’s what you wanted, right? Oh that and-' in one fluid movement he pulls you into his arms, a hand in your hair and his tongue gliding across your jawline ''-my pretty face between your legs.'" - He's two days older than me so I call him DADDY 🥵🥵🥵
“'I also quite like the idea of you being between my legs.'" - He so would say this lmfao gtfo
Okay now my absolute FAVOURITE line in the fic is this one: "Heat spreads out across your face and body as your breathing aligns with the sounds of the palm trees rustling, the birds singing just for you."
Followed closely by: "...--the lifeguard slides down your body, his head nuzzling into your thigh as he starts to spread the cold ointment on the outside of your leg."
This one just got me hot and bothered from the very beginning like omg! Yuta, please! Stay in your lane!!
Another 10/10 fic and a contender for favourite (jk it will always be Beneath The Temple). You outdid yourself bb, thank you so much for sharing with us all 😭🙌💕 ily
Slippery When Wet
Yuta x Reader
Summary -
Two girls float in front of you along the lazy river and discuss the hot lifeguard on duty. Well, well, well, what do we have here?
There’s more than one way to get wet ;)
This is part of the Neo Smut Collective Sunny Side Event - Day 11 prompt is lifeguard ;)
Warnings!! 18+
Swearing, Smut, exhibition/voyeurism, almost drowning, outdoors on the water slide sex.
Word Count - 4.3K
If you have to use one word to describe yourself today it would be glamorous. In your contrast black mesh crisscross one piece, pink-bowed wedges, Dior sunglasses and Titanic era Kate Winslet inspired Derby-style hat, you are getting more than your fair share of looks. Who could blame them? You look fantastic.
The stares don’t bother you. You can’t say the same, however, about the bronzed giant in his red speedo. He practically forced you into hiding after he ignored your refusal of his advances, prompting you to rush over to the lazy river attraction in an effort to finally ditch him. He would bring your stock value down if someone caught sight of him anywhere near you.
Your shoes are expensive but if anyone takes them, you know they must need them more than you do. You leave them behind on the top level of the attraction, off to the side of the pool’s entrance, before stepping down the stairs. Cold water laps up from your ankles to your calves and finally up to your thighs as you descend. The dark blue round tube bleats as you slide over the top, preventing the water from reaching above your waist. Letting your feet dangle while you hold onto the handles, you let the floating donut take you out on the tide.
