Maybe one of these days, Logan will finally crest that hill into feeling comfortable with himself as he is now, and not ruminate on the man he used to be physically speaking. His trauma came with a lot of new things, not to mention daily pain management and general body image issues. But as Khan bares his back to him, Logan watches with a smirk the other and his flexing of his back, that lengthening of his neck, and he can't contain his blush as he allows his hands, once they've lathered the soap up between his palms, to begin the methodical cleansing of Khan.

He starts at his shoulders, offering them a soft squeeze as if he were giving a massage, before he begins to glide down the column of his spine, the muscles on either side of it sturdy under ivory skin, free of any blemish and even the occasional freckle. Hands since splay out towards Khan's sides, ensuring he gets every inch of skin soapy and somewhat sparkling, in a manner of speaking, fingertips gracing the little dip of his lower back before Logan leans in and kisses the base of Khan's neck.

The blonde may not entirely know what's happening or what Khan's devious motivations were when they hopped in here with that comment, but Logan is more than willing to allow it to unfold however the other likes. His bones are beginning to lose the ache from the chill sustained outside, his hair now damp with warmth brushed back from his forehead. His front grows mildly flush against Khan's back, hands having found their way around the other's lithe body to rub soapy circles on those abs of his, nosing that dark hairline at the base of his skull.

Such closeness he doesn't get much, he's been so lonely for the last year and now that Khan's here...things are coming up, to light so to speak, Logan just hopes it's not too much for this fragile yet beautiful thing they have.

The first word that comes to Khan's mind at the display of a gentle blush covering the other's cheeks, is, strangely enough, 'adorable'. A word that's rarely used in his own native language - he thinks he has never used it before, at least not in this context, actually - and yet here he is, considering this word to be the most appropriate... and it is, simple as that. Because Logan is adorable, suddenly acting a bit shy despite what they've done already in the past.

Maybe it has to do with their shared shower? It's quite an intimate thing to do, he knows - even though taking a shower is obviously meant to get oneself cleaned up, it's distinctively different when two individuals share one, as they need to be comfortable enough to exist in casual nakedness that's not necessarily created because of a sexual setting; It makes them both vulnerable in a way, which fascinates Khan, the concept of it.

He feels good, he knows that much. Isn't shy about his own bared frame, isn't feeling sheepish because of Logan seeing it - which means that, in conclusion, Khan is comfortable with the human he's sharing said shower with at the moment.. in seemingly a lot of different ways.

That string of thought is interrupted, however, when Logan takes the shower bottle from his hand and then offers to wash Khan's back - the question itself is so innocent in nature that it sends a pang of amusement through Khan's whole being, combined with something warm and affectionate for the man. He offers one of his cheeky smirks to the other as their faces come close due to the other placing the bottle back where it belongs... and then, willingly so, turns around, his back offered to the blonde, while he lets the water wash away the bit of shower gel he's had poured onto his own palm mere seconds ago.

He won't need it, not right now, he thinks - smirk growing a bit on his lips, for a fraction of a moment, at the thought.

"---I would appreciate that.", is what he says at last, definitely a teasing tone lingering in his sonorous voice; He stretches his neck a bit and squares his shoulders, perhaps flexing his shoulder blades a bit for Logan to look at, who knows?

HYPER-SEXUALITY AND THE TRAGEDY.

it's sinday and that means i finally can talk about one of my favorite headcanons about komaeda in the tragedy. strap in folks — and hold your judgement because i know it sounds really fucking funny at first (and it is) but i promise i have deep thoughts about this.

as i've mentioned before, i do believe that komaeda would be hyper-sexual. and i do mean hyper-sexual — not that he has a high sex drive — but rather the fact it is an issue that plagues him and inconveniences him. this, rather than being a proper addiction or even a trauma response, is instead due to his ftd. meaning that this isn't really something he can work on/fix with therapy or most typical ways of treatment. however, hyper-sexuality is one of the handful of ftd symptoms that can be dealt with via medication. and i do believe that komaeda is medicated for his health issues.

however... once the tragedy hits i do not believe that he would be able to keep getting his prescriptions. and even if he could, i don't know if he would. be it the ultimate despair mindset or simply because he has bigger fish to fry. and so, it becomes something at the forefront of his mind again.

now, i have often seen the fandom depict komaeda in the tragedy as a sexual deviant. depravity is welcome in the tragedy and thus he is able to fuck freely. thanks to the existence of the servant persona, some people even go the extra mile with that... (personally, i don't think that "servant" existed prior to udg — but that's another thing for another time). however, despite everything i've said: i think komaeda was the least sexually active member of ultimate despair during their time of operation.

often it is easy to forget that ultimate despair isn't extremely hedonistic in their actions. they too despair — they may revel in it, but they do cause pain to themselves as they cause pain onto others. they'll kill and torture, but they'll also destroy their own families and bodies. ultimate despair is not indiscriminate in spreading despair. there is suffering on the part of everyone involved. be it via mutilating themselves, starving themselves, or something else.

and so i bring you the thing i have been alluding to for fucking weeks (maybe months???) on this blog at this point: the cage(tm).

Anne's head swims when they kiss. When he looks down into her striking, sea-glass eyes and sees his own desire reflected right back at him it's enough to make his head spin. Anne's beautiful; red hair splayed around her and flushed skin. For a few moments all he can do is gaze down at her, caught up in the moment.

A Honeybee AU

It's Sinday and in its honour I present this dumb thing that's been slowly rotting my brain for the past week or more... Probably longer.

The events of the AU, if we're applying any real logic to the world building, would typically take place after the Nibelheim incident. An alternate universe where Cloud was knocked out during the massacre and was ferried to Midgar much in the same way as Tifa, residing there ever since.

So no S cell implantation, no puppetry or garbled memories, no pretending to be Zack or lying about SOLDIER. By taking these aspects away it makes this verse much easier to work with and lend Cloud's character to bend and mould in ways his canon counterpart simply won't. This is a very self-indulgent thing which I hope you can appreciate~ Trauma from the events of Nibelheim could still present themselves depending on context though perhaps of a lesser nature than canon.

So, it would come apparent fairly quickly that Cloud is a bit of a pretty boi, with a pretty face and a very pretty body. Given his only job has been a lowly grunt in the infantry, and his inability to really return to that job considering the major cover up operation of the Nibelheim massacre so Cloud firsts manages to land a job as a bouncer/doorman at the Honeybee Inn.

Though after getting hit on by the clientele more often than not it's soon discovered there's far more money to make inside the club. His presence as a Honeybee as opposed to a honeyboy could have possibly been seen as controversial in the beginning, but Cloud proves himself quite popular amongst the patrons who frequent this kind of place.
