His lips pulled in a tight line for a moment, trying not to grin as intrusive thoughts twisted her request. She was simply tending to his wounds and he was very much taller than her, having a full 3 feet above her so to say it was difficult for her to work on him would be an understatement. He did as she asked, bending his large frame down, sitting himself on both knees; he had to even shrink himself further as he was still just a bit too big.

"Sorry this is hard for you," he said, being careful of his large horns as he bowed his head towards her. "I don't think I said thank you before - for helping me." Not just 'helping', more like saving his life. For a solid moment before she found him, he was sure that he was dead.

The moment he arrived he could tell something was off. Trinity's welcoming was somewhat muted and there was a distant look in those large beautiful blue eyes of hers, Val just wanted to bring her back home–to herself. Grabbing her hand he pulled her gently to sit on the porch swing before cupping her face to encourage her to lie down. With a hand on her hip, another coiled through her hair tucking it behind an ear. Looking down and her lovely profile he asked gently, "What happened?" He needed to know what left her in such a state.

Whatever it was that did it, he'd simply rip it apart.

"No, because I cannot compare. Jasmine is extraordinary in her own way, and then so is Greta. Ilyas and Tyler are precious to me, and so is Aya, Trinity and Gia. I also have really old friends like D'Ablo and Astra and then the newest friends I made are Marianne, Cinead and Gemina. Then there are friends of friends I made, like Chris, and I hope to get to know them all even better as time passes. They all have their own experiences, and I know there are so many more I can meet in the future too, and instead of comparing, I cherish the friendships I already have."

Terran's icy blue eyes watched her as she moved through the house into the kitchen, and was transfixed by the angelic-like quality with which she moved. Most angels, he had come to find, didn't move with an 'angelic' quality as they way people used the term. Trinity, however, did.

He smiled at her, a soft, gracious smile. "I prefer my tea the same way, actually. And, please, just Terran," he allowed a soft chuckle to leave his lips. He glanced down at his feet and shuffled them for a moment. What was wrong with him? He didn't act this way. He wasn't a schoolboy with a cute little crush. He was supposed to be proper, not falling all over himself because of a beautiful face and eyes he could lose himself in. But he already knew she was much, much more. He could feel it.

Terran glanced up at her again, his icy blue eyes flashing softly, briefly, as he continued to trace her form in his head. His eyes studied her face, studied her eyes, slid across her neckline, and then up to her lips. He found that his breath had caught in his throat momentarily, and then realized he was staring.

He cleared his throat. "I-... I don't know," he said quietly. "I mean, I originally came here with the intention of finding out exactly what this place was, and bombarding the appropriate with a thousand different questions. But, now that I'm here... I'm not so sure exactly what I want or how you can help me." Well, part of that was true. he part about him not knowing why he was there was true. Telling her that he didn't know what he wanted? That was a lie. He knew what he wanted as soon as Trinity had opened the door because he was still looking at her.

"And I'm over fifteen hundred years old, Miss." He offered a smile. "May I enquire as to how long you've been here? Because I've only just discovered the presence of this place within the last two or three months..."

The way she talked and moved, there was a grace to it, almost an ethereal-like quality. As if she was moving through soft clouds and not wishing to disturb them more than she needed to; but she also walked with purpose and intent, as if she knew exactly where she was going at all times.

Terran followed her deeper into the house. "Uhm, yes. Tes, please, if it not too much trouble." He removed is hat while he glanced around the home. It was absolutely beautiful. It had an otherworldly quality, almost as if it were alive. From what his empathic feelers were picking up, it very well could be. It reminded him of NyteHavyn Castle, if he were honest. The Castle was alive, from the centuries of people being there, magic being used, all for good purposes and needed for acceptance; after a few centuries, the magic and abundance of good joy there had seeped into the stones and the very depths of the castle. He wondered if it were the same here.

"My name is Terran Nytefyer, Madam," he offered, then stood there almost awkwardly. This was very strange for Terran because he was never awkward. He was always composed, cool and collected. His tie was always straight, his words were usually carefully planned, and his footfalls were rhythmic. But not, standing here, in this place, in the presence of this magnificent woman, he felt small. And he knew he shouldn't. But he did.

Holiday for @sincerexsiren

The merry festivities of the day were winding down for Trinity and Alex. They'd accepted an invitation to attend the King's Yule celebration, the castle was decorated lavishly and there wasn't even the tiniest lull in entertainment. They wandered through the halls to the guest room they'd occupied for the last few days, the smell of roasted chestnuts filled the air. His love's small hand is entrusted in his as the candlelight illuminates their path. A slow smile splayed across his features as he asked, "Any regrets accepting the invitation?"

The original plan was to spend the holiday on his estate, but when they didn't respond to the first invitation, a second one showed up. More than anything, Sir Alex just wanted a quiet moment with his lady love so that he could gift her with a present he'd been carrying for a while. Opening the wooden door the warmth of the room greeted them. The staff had kept the fire going and left some refreshments on a nearby table. Taking a seat on the chaise lounge he pulled Trinity by her hips to sit on his lap. Leaving his arms in a loose embrace before he tucked into the crook of her neck plying her with several kisses before whispering against her neck, "Not the real festivities can begin." After another generous sprinkling of affection, he pulled back to gaze at her dazzling sapphire eyes he admitted, "I have a gift for you."

"I'm curious- what would Trinity do? She looks so innocent, I don't know if she is capable of 'taking care of someone' in a way that involves violence. But- I don't know her that well, if that is the case. Gives me more of a reason to get to know her better."

Alex watched as his witch strolled from the bed, unable to take his gaze from her sight. In the dim light of the morning, he noticed the bruising from nipping his lover the night before. He'll have to be more careful next time. The knight remained perfectly still as she adjusted the spaulder a small smile teasing at his lips. At the suggestion he stay and she could remove his armour he laughed.

"It's a bit of a rigorous process I'm afraid, and as lovely as that sounds I'm expected." Alex pulled Trinity by the hips into an embrace. Pressing her breast into the cool-plated metal armor he smiled and whispered down, "I will not pretend I'd prefer to stay in bed with you all day. So how about this...when our parties return I kindly request I find you just as I left you?" Staring down he knew she needed to be reminded that she'd be safe. "Samson will stay guard. If you need anything just call out." Alex trailed the back of his fingers down her cheek.

Followers Promotion/Appreciation Because I Can

I've had a hell of a time on Tumblr in these past...12 to 13 years I think? I've been through my share of ups and downs, learned a lot about writing and also about myself and my mental health as a person and a writer. I've had my share of bad experiences with this hellsite, I've lost some good partners and great friends but I've also made and met great partners and friends. And no matter what, if we have a fallout or we go on creating wonderful stories with these chaos gremlins of ours, I am eternally grateful. I'm thankful for those who have been with me since the beginning, for those I've met along the way, and the new friends I may or may not interact with a lot or at all yet (I am very sorry, I am a trash bag). I don't care if I have 10 followers/rp partners or 100, I am so happy to have met, known, and write and create with you.
